I like the burn effect a lot because you can use it to make your team stronger as well as weaken your opponent. Flame Orb, Guts, Switcheroo, Facade Obstagoon is freaking delicious! Switcheroo Flame Orb onto a physical attacker and get a Guts boosted Knock Off on the impending switch, that feels quite nice.

yo so i'm still havin a difficult time processing Guts and Facade and the like when it comes to burn. i thought that your Attack gets halved while burning right? so wouldn't the "doubled" Attack from these abilities/moves just put you back on your default stage? hope i worded that right lol.

It doesn't get halved when you have guts, it just boosts your attack. So Obstagoon has boosted attack from the burn, plus facade is boosted more and it is STAB.
