And what type of security do you use? WEP, WPA, etc, or are you unprotected? Do you turn off the router when not using it? If not for any of these questions, why not?
We do have a wireless network. We use WEP (changed it specifically from WPA so I could connect to the internet when I first got my DS Lite) with MAC Address Filtering. The router is always on, it's just set to block outside traffic at certain times of the night, and we only reboot it when a setting we change requires a reboot to take effect.
We use WEP and never turn off the router. We live in a really nice area surrounded by old people who seldom know how to turn on their televisions correctly, yet alone hack a wireless signal...so we're pretty safe. XD
Not that WEP actually allows my Pokémon games to trade or battle with other people. -.-
Yep, I have Wi-Fi. My brother gave me his old router, so I didn't need to go out and buy a new one. And it is always on just like my computer. And I have WEP. It looks pretty safe because it has this 26 hex code and I don't think anyone can break it. I hope not!
No because for some stupid reason our college doesn't allow Wi-fi in the dorms. I have to use the old Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector to get my DS on Wi-fi and I have to eave my laptop at my desk to do anything else online.
Yup, we've got wifi (although the signal can be pretty awful sometimes) and we use WEP so that it's protected somewhat, but I can still access the internet with my DS/Wii. (b' ')b
