    Do you?

I act like I don't care about it around everyone except one really close friend. I wouldn't mind if people knew I played pokemon, but I don't want them to know how much I still like the anime, and how I have a special selection of pokemon toys I've kept. Or my small collection of cards (not the normal TCG ones- just pretty pokemon cards) None of my friends (aside from the super close bestie) likes pokemon anymore. And I don't want them to know I do.

I used to, now I don't. Really, because I just don't care what anyone else thinks. If they make fun of me, so be it. That just shows how much of a loser those people are. I'll probably be getting a Pokémon shirt for Christmas, and guess what, I'll be wearing that to school. I don't care what anyone says; Pokémon is badass.

    Nope.

I am lucky enough to have a BFF that loves Pokemon just as much as I do and plays it as often. We both buy the games, always different versions, and we trade back and fourth with each other.

I don't get embarassed for my love of Pokemon. It was something I've loved since I was a kid, and I won't give up on it now because people grew out of it and I didn't. It's just something that held my interests for years, and obviously I'm not the only person who feels the same way about it. If people don't like the fact that I like Pokemon, then **** 'em. I don't care. I won't give up my own time and entertainment for the likes of them.

Yeah, I just keep it to myself. Its not that I care what other people think I just don't want to hear their opinions. Some things are just better left unsaid.

I wore a Pokemon shirt on the first day of classes on my campus; I think that can pretty much sum it up. However, when a good group of your friends play Pokemon (including your significant other, who is just as obsessed as you are), I think it's safe to say that you're open about it. I proudly display my plushes in my room, and even post Pokemon-related Facebook status updates. I think it's kinda safe to assume that I'm not a closet-case for them pocket-sized critters.

My Facebook profile pic right now is a Kingdra. Enough said, I think?
I don't care. I like Pokémon. It's not that big a deal. It's not like it's frowned upon. It's kinda "retro" and cool where I live.

Nope, I dont hide it. If it comes up in a conversation I'll talk about it. Im 18 and some of my friends still play it. I dont play as much anyore anyways but I still enjoy going back and playing. Besides, it usually doesnt come up with others who arent really friends anyways. All my friends know I still like the games, others I dont know if they do or not lol but I dont care if they do.

    LAWL, no.

everytime i meet someone i ask if thy have a DS and if they do i follow up with " you got pokemon?!"

most of the time they do, deep down everyone likes pokemon

    Except noobs...

Of course I don't! I proudly wear my PokéWalker to school every day (and the staff is surprisingly lax about it), rant about Pokémon in my Facebook status updates (my current profile picture is Eevee)... I even came to school on Halloween in full Leaf regalia, and half the school actually recognized me (of course, no one got that my original intent was to dress as Blue from Pokémon Special, but that's okay). And people seem to think it's cool when they see I've got SoulSilver months before it comes out here.

I've never got negative comments about my Pokémon fandom. Recently, I mean. When I was nine, I did, because it was just going out of style, but now it's got the retro nostalgic thing going for it. My group of friends is into it, too, so I'm not a loner weirdo Pokéfan. I'm clearly the most into it, but nobody outside of our group of friends can tell.

hmm I should probably be more open about it. If my friends don't like me for it, they're not worth my friendship.

    Why would someone do that?

Pokemon is boss! I mean, we all grew up with it. Everyone. My school loves Pokemon! :D

I act like I don't want to hear anything about pokémon. But thats because 11 years of making fun of me because I liked pokemon has token its toll. I'm now starting to gain trust again but I'm still a bit careful with it. The people that know I like pokémon are my best friend, my cousin (who I suspect from telling it to her friends @ school. (she studies at the same school as mine)), my neighbourhood, and a friend I know from gymnastics.

I still hide it a bit. When someone asked me: "Hey ....., you know all Pokémon species?" I replied with. "No" While I knew I was lying and felt busted.

this is probably as true as it gets

but the only person that i really play with is a couple of my close friends,

I hide it... if the people in my year found out i would be laughed at till i leave school :/ All the people i know think pokemons a bit... babyish

Kinda! I mean, I don't even know if I really like it all that much anymore. I do, but it seems to be dying off...

Ah well! I think that's just because the 4th generation of games was so terrible. Can't wait for the English versions of HG/SS (although I think I could struggle through the Japanese ones with my little knowledge of Japanese).

I do feel a bit embarrassed playing my DS in public, Pokemon or otherwise, though. It's considered pretty nerdy, despite the fact I go to a selective school which are typically full of nerds. I had to find a good hiding spot when I went to EB for Arceus. It was easier when I had a female friend that like Pokemon to go with me!

Anyhow, I'm rambling. Basically I do, but only because it isn't a really big part of me anymore.

I used to.I'm glad that my best friend can keep a secret that I like Pokemon. Now I show it.
