    [PokeCommunity.com] Do you pay attention to the Nutrition Facts label?

    So guys, do you pay attention to the Nutrition Facts label when you eat something or go grocery shopping? Or do you just don't care and gobble down as many servings as you wish?

    I like to look at it just out of curiosity. I never really use it to make a decision about what to buy or eat, though. I just eat whatever I want to.

    I can't recall one time in my life when I've read the nutrition facts label. Hell, I didn't even read Cady's screenshot.

    My, that's quite different to this country's typical labels. I didn't even know cholesterol could be included in the process used to get the values.

    I often read these labels, I just always have, but don't care what they say about the product.

    Rarely. The only time I would read the labels would be when I'm bored and that's practically it.

    No. I'll maybe look at it or something to see how many grams of sugar are in it, but thats it.

    I'm allergic to a lot of things, which I found out through not reading labels. Dx

    So for most foods that contain ingredients I can't tolerate, I check. Otherwise, down the hatch.

    Absolutely, positively. As well as the ingredients. I do not want to eat garbage like a majority of the world does.

    I do sometimes. Some yogurts and stuff have gelatin in it, which is basically derived from pig fat, even if it says kosher, it still is, and I'm Muslim, so I can't have it if it has that. :(

    I look at the nutrition label before I eat almost anything. I used to have a really big issue with my weight, and I just got into the habit of watching my calorie intake and always abiding by the serving size.

    It was this that led me to understand that the majority of my calories in a day come from soda. Cutting that junk out will help anyone lose weight pretty darn quickly.

    ...Although I still can't deny the heavenly tastes of Coke and Dr. Pepper for more than a week. XD;

    Well, I am skinny, and I don't have good sense of tasting. I wish I did though, too bad I barely can taste anything. I hate it that most products will say "low fat," "fat free," and crap, those are taking all the good favolers out.

    Yeah I always read the label, usually while I'm eating the food to keep me preoccupied. It usually dosn't affect whether I eat it or not, even if it has 75% of the GDA of sugar I'll still eat it if I like it.
