You're taking this far out of context. I just don't like that you're being so irritating and that everyone adores it so much. I know what a joke is, but your brand of humor is childish.



You want to talk about someone being full of themselves? Physician, heal thyself! All you do here, with little or no exception, is go from topic to topic and spam, insult people, and do things that I usually associate with forum trolls, and all the while, you're always throwing your "superiority" in peoples' faces and do all this because you know you'll never be punished. These polls are just another extension of this. I've never seen you say one meaningful thing, even after complaining so much about the lack of meaningful polls here. Again, you're twisting my words. I'm doing the responsible thing and denouncing a trend in OVP that needs to stop, and if I need to call out a certain member for being the source of it, I will. Anyone who knows anything about me here knows that I would never do this unless I felt it had to end. I never throw what little intelligence I have around, and it's wrong of you to say this just because you're finally being called out on something.

Of course, nobody's going to take my side because you're OMGTEHAWSUMZ and I'm not, but I have no problem standing up to power when it's become corrupt even if I'm the lone voice.

I think CK deserves applause for that. He knew that it would probably gain him some enemies and lower his reputation, but he stood up for what he thought was right anyway. I doubt I would be able to do the same thing in this situation, and for that I applaud him.

As for me... meh, I like polls, I vote in polls that attract my intrest. I voted in a few weird ones... just for the fun of it ^^;
Haven't been voting in some of them lately though. ^^; I don't want to tell people how often I fart... x_x;

You do know he was being sarcastic through most of that post, right? Either way, I think both of you are kinda going overboard on it...but hey, as long as you don't flame or bash, have fun. He was making those polls to point out that people will basically do anything for post count...and it backfired. Or proved his point, either way those polls are going to stop now.

Just how is this standing up to the staff? Jeez, I'm the one that let him post this poll because bluntly put...members are being dumb and not getting the idea to stop posting in the type of threads he was talking about. And even if people don't care what others think, breaking a rule is breaking a rule, so if anyone does that you will get warned on it

How was my post unfounded, your post seemed more unfounded than mine. I posted pretty much the reason why both threads where made and it's pretty much true. D made his threads to get the point across that most members will pretty much post anywhere without a second's thought. And what do you mean by "decided to let him speak his mind"? People are quick to say the staff are the bad guys and that we lock anything that we don't like, but then when it's someone saying something you don't like, you go and ask for help.The point is both threads where made to prove a point, and both threads got the point across pretty well.
 
Am I missing the entire point of this thread? It sounds like you guys are acting silly over nothing. If you can't act goofy on a Pok?mon board, a Pok?mon board , where on Earth can you? I highly doubt this is a serious thread, guys.

Unless this is all a joke I'm just not in on. Either way, WELL PLAYED.

If we see a weakness in a staff member, chances are we'll blow it up an exploit it. It's the nature of humans. Higher ups are always supposed to be perfect, and we come down hard on those who don't make that image. That's why the staff gets a lot of nasty comments.

And do you really get that many reports asking to close threads? o.o;

You do realize that most of the higher staff is made of people 14-18? No we're not supposed to be perfect, just supposed to act more mature than most membres...which most of us do. I don't even know where the "higher ups are supposed to be perfect" thing came from, because it's never been that way. Like you said, we're human, human have flaws, moreso people our age. And no, blowing things up isn't human nature, it's nature of rather immature people.
 
I was able to laugh at it at first, but now it's gone too far. It's not 100% Dakota's fault either; I'd probably be more annoyed with the people that copied him. However, I still think CK has the stronger point. It's all good fun until someone takes it too far (namely, the people who copied Dakota).

I also agree with Maya - I really don't want to see anyone banned because of this, so I think we should probably attempt to form a compromise or soemthing.
