Still have Torterra as a main for double battles (Torterra/Rotom - Earthquake/Discharge). My original 6 has Pokerus and I only have a total of 7 pokemon, one being the legendary Giratina. Not catching anymore until I beat the E4 (of which I finally started to face... I lost to the psychic...

Psychic annoys me .... I need more Dark or something with Bite.

In general, yes i do usually have my starter pokemon with me all the time. Only once or twice have i not.
 
i always have my torterra in platinum my infernape in platinum that i traded from pearl to platinum and my empolion my twin friend traded to me as an egg oh and my swampert in platinum that i got in my sapphire game
 
Of course i do.. I still have my starter in my party. Because it's the most important pokemon. The most trained pokemon you ever had.. But still. You should train the other pokemon because it's really important training them while battling Gym Leaders, Trainers, Elite Four and the Champion. Uh. Starter Pokemon is the best pokemon for me so far. I think the level of my starter is the highest. than the legendary Dialga and the other pokemons that i have. So yeah. It's pretty important to use your starter. And raise it up to high level. Then i know it'll be good. But it's your own decision. Maybe you got many legendaries. Well it's up to you if your going to use them.

On Diamond I eventually replaced my Torterra with an EV'd Leafeon...but I got Torterra up to 72 before that. On Pearl I still use my Empoleon, and on Platinum I still use my Infernape.
 
Yeah I have My Empoleon and Infernape cause they have the best stats :D
 
Empoleon will never leave my party! He's one of a kind, I had lots of memories... Catching Dialga, Azelf, Uxie, Mesprit.... He's very useful. I like the Surf n' brine combination. Though things aren't going well with Cynthia's Spiritomb...
 
starter pokes

Well I have a starter (Empoleon) but it's not originally from my game. It's part of my team i've been putting together for a while now. But I don't have my original starter Torterra on my team, although it's pretty good.

But on my Platinum I have the second evolution of chimchar on my team, whatever it's called (I forgot :P). So i'll count my Platinum towards my vote.
 
when i had pokemon emerald i alwais had blaziken in mi party he was the second every time to get to level 100 the first was rayquaza and blayziken was mi most powerfull 2
 
Of course in fact when I got plantinum I traded my intire diamond party to it so I have my starter from diamond in my plantinum and soon in my soul silver
 
Yes, I always keep my starter in my team.
My Empoleon is my highest level Pokemon. :)
 
My Piplup is in my box in Diamond because I didn't want it to ever evolve.

Just restarted my Pearl, so obviously my Turtwig is still with me XD But I plan on keeping it until the end, unlike Piplup.
