Do you think boys or girls have it easier? O_O

I'm going to make a few crazy comments then make my reply. XD

Toki_Wartooth, your comment about "Those little squishy things" on page 1 was the best post in this whole thread. I mean.... WOW.... XD
And then Amachi's post on page 3 was a nice runner up.
But I swear, just about every guy on PC (and the world) likes "Those little squishy things". They might not admit it, but it's true. And Amachi is right, because they're awesome (doesn't matter what Karli says, they are XD). Nothing more to it. XD
And I can't see how people saying dealing with boobs/breasts is a prob... I mean... come on... they can't be a prob, they are... awesome... XD

And I don't know what it "feels like" to be a girl. So if anyone wants to trade genders with me for a month then put up your hand... any takers? Come on, anyone?... XD

Who has it easier? I think it depends on a lot of things. I'm not going to go into it because others have already went into detail already. But over all, I'd say they're about equal. I mean sure girls do have it worse physically. But I think they're able to fit in better in a crowd, and then like someone said before, they can pretty much wear what they want and be "ok". But guys also have probs, and it could be something as small as not being as athletic and people look at you like "What's wrong with you?". So like I said, I think it's equal.

You raise a good point, but being a female, I can say it's almost harder to fit in than it is for males due to cattyness, jealousy, being called "sluts" and the like..

Girls have it more harder on looks; and boys have it harder on what they wear; I guess.

This is hard to answer in the right way.

I don't think anyone has it inherently harder.

I appreciate what both genders have to go through differently, but it all depends on the individual's setting, and what they were given. Problems they have, they might not have if they were born in a different part of the world. Or they might not have if they were born into a different body. And it works both ways. It also depends on what you want from life in the first place. Traditional gender types still exist in many people's minds. I hate them, but they do. It's not a perfect world.

I've got a lot to say for this, but it isn't easy to word it.
I'll just say that you can't boil difficulty in life all the way down to gender. There's so many more things that could affect it. And what's like this in one example, may be different in another.

Hey, I like boobs just as much as the next person, but I'd still switch genders with you in an instant. Honestly, they're more annoying when they're yours than anything. >\ They get in the waaaaay. D:

You forgot to mention that while almost every women goes through 'that time of month' every month from the time they're 13 to the time they're 50, not every single man has to suffer through kidney stones.

If it was inevitable, I would vote 'women have it easier' in a heartbeat. xD

I still believe men and women are equal :/ Though I agree with your point that our decisions ultimately effect how our lifestyles function.
Not to mention women can get kidney stones too, so it's not like it's something exclusive to the gender like periods. Dx

...this thread is so awkward to post in. XD;

I think of it more individual-wise. I know most girls do have periods, but it varies girl to girl, same with child birth.

I Personally think girls have it easier Ullion basically summed up Why.

I'd say girls, because we guys have to deal with them.

If the'yre not complaining, they're asking for something. Or sometimes they just wont stop talking, and they know how to make you mad 99.9% of the time. And there is nothing worse than an older sister... They get those certain times of the month where if you even just ask them something, like where the paper towels are, they erupt in a blazing fury and then they bite your head off.

They take forever to get ready to go somewhere, and god forebid they find a mustard stain the size of a grain of salt, the outfit can never be worn again. >___<

......too much, too much *sigh*-__-

And now, I shall finish this arguement. Let me say this: Everyone in this thread is wrong. Even my past post in here, as I didn't explain myself far enough. I suggest everyone to read this post if they want to know the right answer to this question.

Now, for the 95% of you who said girls have it easier, are wrong.
For the 3% who said they're equal are wrong.
For the remaining 2% who said boys have it easier, are right, but for the wrong reasons.

I kinda just estimated figures from what I've read, percents may be off, but they don't REALLY matter, its the point that all of you were wrong on this.

Now, onto the reasons why I say this:

For the large group who say girls have it easier.. why? Because they have periods, give birth, have to deal with breasts, deal with emotions and clothing etc? Only ONE of those points there are valid. About outlooks, clothing and your emotions doesn't matter, all of those revolve around a choice you make, and if you don't benefit from it, its your fault and no one elses. You can simply make it easier for yourself by making proper decisions. As for breasts, deal with it? I may not be a girl, but only 'decent' reason I've seen as to why they're not good is because when you run they 'get in your way'. Counterpoint: Wear a sports bra? -Credit goes to Sorano. x: Next, giving birth is also an invalid point. Don't complain about it, as it is also a choice you make, whether you want to have a kid or not. If you want a kid, go ahead and have it, but don't say it makes your life harder, because you CHOSE to have it in the first place. Only valid point for girls having a hard time in life aer periods. Yes, by the looks of this thread, I'm the only mature person here, everyone here is acting like a little kid who can't use proper terms like "sperm" or "period", so seriously, grow up? /=

Now, onto the boys. Same goes with them, all emotions/society putups and whatnot is a choice of their own to make, so they can not complain about it. So only physical thing they have no control over (as I have previously stated) is that they have Kidney stones (Apparently woman MIGHT have them, but if so, much less often then men, and when they do have it, less painful). And I'm quite sure everyone here agrees to the fact that giving birth is worse than having periods. And people know that a Kidney Stone is the MALE equivalent to giving birth, except its actually worse because after its out, theres no "Miracle of birth", just the relief you got the darn thing out. Oh, but you know what, giving birth is a choice, thus not a relevant point of arguement here, and since its worse than Periods, and males have Kidney Stones, which are WORSE than giving birth. It is quite evident males have it worse.

And with all this explained, I'm sure everyone now knows that there is no equality either.

So, final verdict: Girls have it easier.

i GUESS u have a point...

even tho a lot of girls r lyke that, not all of em' r... even tho the last paragrapgh sounds lyke me, i'd just wash the mustard stain out. and trust me, i really don't think a fit that discription that much...

well, I have to say both.
I've heard storys on how boys have it harder, and how girls have it harder.
but one of my favorites is when dad told me the story of when me and my brother were born.
he was rgiht there next to my mom when she was giving birth, and seeing how much pain she was going through at the moment, he was saying "thank god I'm not a girl" over and over in his head.

I don't think it's gender specific. Everybody goes through their own personal struggles. What may be extremely unbearable to one person may be barely manageable to the next, and a non issue for others -- but those others aren't exempt from their own struggles either. I would think, in a general sense, the average girl faces more struggles than the average boy, that based solely on my own observations and opinions. I'd vote for "boys have it easier" but in essence the answer depends on each individual, with little influence on gender.

You've never met me in person. lol I'm the complete opposite of that.

I already posted but I had to respond to this quote when I saw it.

If "everyone" is wrong, that would by default include you. What I'm trying to say...in easiest terms to understand is:

O RLY?

Btw I disagree on your claim that girls have it easier and hold my position that neither do.

By far the best post in this thread.

Anyway, I agree 100% with everything you said, Starfish Prime

And just for the record everyone, periods and child birth aren't the only gender-related 'problems' females have (I'm not refering to emotions or outlooks here).
