Do you think boys or girls have it easier? O_O

Aww hard question. I'm pretty sure that girls and boys have both their problems in life..
But I still think girls have it harder. The month-thing, giving birth. Yeah, I know, birth isn't so painful as it was in the medievel times, but hey o_o
It still isn't just something 'fun' to do.

and also since they have only one face to shave and we like two whole legs.

Guys have it easier. Most of the time. But depending on the environment you live in it can be hard. I have lived in a bad environment since I was born and am still living in it now. My dad is very violent and has hit me a few times. He has kicked my sister (while I was out) but I have had the most of it as I won't let him do anything to her.

But if you are living in a good family environment then girls have it harder with the things they have to go through.

Congrats, your poll made Poll of the Week! :D *sticks*

Personally, I ♥ this poll, but I just can't gather my thoughts for a good answer. D:

well, if all girls in the world are like my sisters, then girls would have it way easier, but overall, i don't know.
Probaly the Boys would have it easier, could you think about it, all the things Girls do in the morning, hair, nails, ect.
So i'd say that, but i'm no overly sure

Guys do ofcourse we just relax, while girls shop put make up on all sorts of stuff

You should talk in the name of you, not the others... Well, I don't shop a lot. But I must say that a girl has to deal with tougher things than a boy. I think that's natural. I mean, boys do things and girls do things. Simple as that... >>

I totally agree with everyone that guys have it easy than girls. But it doesn't mean guys have some stuff to deal with too. It is just not has much than the girls.

I would say it's equal.

Yes, girls do have their monthly issue, but who're the people they take it out on? Any guesses? Guys. (To be honest, I just wanted to say that XD)

I really don't like it when people say "Girls have to worry about how they look." No. No they don't. Guys worry about that stuff just as much as girls, once you think about it.

Ahh, so many things I could say, but so little time I have to keep my eyes open. XD

In my opinion it totally depends on the situation. Some cases guys find it easier, in others, girls do.

Education is one part that's debated a lot here... especially with our national school curriculum and qualifications standards. Girls are supposedly meant to do better in this system because they explain more and are more thorough...

I think, Girls have it soo much easier, because well they are girls...they don't need anything to do super hard [like carrying stuff] but meh..I just dunno...

I totally just scoped through this post, and yes, having boobs sounds like amazing fun. Those little squishy things are actually a plus to being a Girl. =/

xD Um, I really don't know how to answer this; everyone has their own personal crap to deal with, so you can't really just compare each gener side-by-side like this.

Overall, I think guys might have it a little easier just because we get to completely avoid that monthly thing. Then again, I know from first-hand experience that whan that time rolls around, we also have to put with your crap xD

Still, Guys have it easier.
... *laughs*
What is with guys and boobs XD?
They're not that amazing. :x
Really, they aren't.
Anyway, I'm not really going to say anything about guys since I'm not one. Even though I live with two very insane males.
But, as stated about a hundred times, females have the monthly crunch, pregnancy, and I don't believe they can wear whatever they want. I mean, it's not whatever a girl wants to wear, it's what a girl sees what everyone else is wearing.
So no, it's not what girls want to wear.
It's what they have to wear or they run down the popular hill reaaaal fast. :3

I hate society today, though. You're based on what you wear, what you weigh, and if you're pretty or not. I hate it ><!
So anyway.
I would say guys have it easier but most of them object to that, but knowing nothing about guys and what they go through I can't say anything on their behalf.
I'll say we're all people, we're all equal.

girls for sure, boys have to deal with them!

In case no one realized, I was just kidding, don't get crazy on me. In reality, girls have to deal with guys and the crap we put them through; doesn't mean they don't put us through crap, oh heck no it's just that girls have more things to deal with, making it easier for guys

Akina you have no idea...

I'd say it's about even and that it varies significantly. Generally, girls have it hard from a physical standpoint. Guys have it pretty tough emotionally, though. Girls can spill their emotions all over the place and no one thinks much less of them, but guys are expected to swallow their emotions until they inevitably snap and murder their families or die of a heart attack.

And now, I shall finish this arguement. Let me say this: Everyone in this thread is wrong. Even my past post in here, as I didn't explain myself far enough. I suggest everyone to read this post if they want to know the right answer to this question.

Now, for the 95% of you who said girls have it easier, are wrong.
For the 3% who said they're equal are wrong.
For the remaining 2% who said boys have it easier, are right, but for the wrong reasons.

I kinda just estimated figures from what I've read, percents may be off, but they don't REALLY matter, its the point that all of you were wrong on this.

Now, onto the reasons why I say this:

For the large group who say girls have it easier.. why? Because they have periods, give birth, have to deal with breasts, deal with emotions and clothing etc? Only ONE of those points there are valid. About outlooks, clothing and your emotions doesn't matter, all of those revolve around a choice you make, and if you don't benefit from it, its your fault and no one elses. You can simply make it easier for yourself by making proper decisions. As for breasts, deal with it? I may not be a girl, but only 'decent' reason I've seen as to why they're not good is because when you run they 'get in your way'. Counterpoint: Wear a sports bra? -Credit goes to Sorano. x: Next, giving birth is also an invalid point. Don't complain about it, as it is also a choice you make, whether you want to have a kid or not. If you want a kid, go ahead and have it, but don't say it makes your life harder, because you CHOSE to have it in the first place. Only valid point for girls having a hard time in life aer periods. Yes, by the looks of this thread, I'm the only mature person here, everyone here is acting like a little kid who can't use proper terms like "sperm" or "period", so seriously, grow up? /=

Now, onto the boys. Same goes with them, all emotions/society putups and whatnot is a choice of their own to make, so they can not complain about it. So only physical thing they have no control over (as I have previously stated) is that they have Kidney stones (Apparently woman MIGHT have them, but if so, much less often then men, and when they do have it, less painful). And I'm quite sure everyone here agrees to the fact that giving birth is worse than having periods. And people know that a Kidney Stone is the MALE equivalent to giving birth, except its actually worse because after its out, theres no "Miracle of birth", just the relief you got the darn thing out. Oh, but you know what, giving birth is a choice, thus not a relevant point of arguement here, and since its worse than Periods, and males have Kidney Stones, which are WORSE than giving birth. It is quite evident males have it worse.

And with all this explained, I'm sure everyone now knows that there is no equality either.

So, final verdict: Girls have it easier.

I don't think either have it easy.

Males and females have different problems in life, but I think there is approximately just as many problems for males growing up as females. This, I think, all comes down to what's expected of them. Whether you're male or female, you're often judged or have a hard time if you don't fit to the expectations of your specific sex. In other words, there is pressure to be a typical male, and pressure to be a typical female.

In the working life, girls often have a harder time getting into higher paid jobs or positions of power and authority. In the working life there is far less support for stay-at-home dads.

Also, there is far less support for dads in divorce issues. Excluding the exceptions, it's commonly the mother is the one who ends up with the children, and the fathers are often left in the dark, or limmited on how much they can see their children.

Just like when a young girl falls pregnant, she is usually the one to bear the whole burden even though she's only half responsible, the other guilty party (the boy who got her pregnant) usually being young and irresponsible flees the situation.

The problems faced can also differ by country and culture. In some countries, girls have a tougher time and have far less freedom, while in other countries males end up with far less support for various problems than females.

I think there are far too many variables to make a good descision. I think the answer is PEOPLE have it rough, not one particular sex over the other, while as I said this varies by circumstance.

none have it easier both have opposites like for example giving birth is the opposite of a guy getting hit in the penis and that hurts like hell and if its hard enough guys won't be able to produce sperm and then there is breast cancer and prostate (a males cancer only and is a painful procedure to go through) so yeah no one has it easier there are always opposites

Dear god. I see this thread going on forever.
Reality is, we all have our flaws no matter what gender we are.
Women have to have the babies? Yeah.
Men have to have janglies that cane when kicked? Yeah.
I say tough luck and move on.

Initially though, through teen years, girls have it worse because b.itchiness is such a problem.

(I just realised the two extremes of being each gender were made by the guy above me, oops.. I guess I was right about them being the worst then xD
