Do you think you're mature?

I'm mature most of the time unless I'm around my little sister... she bugs me so much to the point where I'm probably the most immature here. Other than that, I'm probably the most mature in my class, because I'm laid back and I don't do stupid things.

I would say I'm pretty mature, compare to other teens at public these days. >.<
So yes, I'm mature.

yeah my techer told me im so maturer so i am

Ye-hell no.
If you look at me, you may think i am, but there is a soul deep witthin that pulses within, and when it is released, chaos. *Smirks*

I'm told I'm mature for my age.. most Scorpio's are according to the information about them, but I can take a joke and act immature a lot as well if I really feel like it. It all depends on how I'm feeling then and if I can be bothered acting mature... sometimes I like to state the obvious though.

Hmmm i am scorpio and i am told that i too am mature for my age, i used to be bad sometimes at taking jokes, but i am using this years new years resolution to be happier and more relaxed.

I like to think I'm mature. I do sometimes fear that I'm more grown-up than the friends that are now in different situations - for example I'm working full-time and they're all at university getting drunk and spending all their student loans (I mean, I'm sure they do work, but I never hear about that...). I think maturity ties in with responsibility and things that come with progressing into adult life.

But then, I guess everyone's idea of maturity is a bit different. I have a 16-year-old friend online, and she always says how her older friends tell her she's really mature for her age and stuff. Unfortunately I can only ever see her obsessing about things (TV shows, pairings, etc) and overreacting to completely stupid things. Not what I count as maturity really.

I don't think liking Pokémon means you're immature, to be honest. You can be mature and still have hobbies, right? We're all allowed our fun. Maturity =/= seriousness.

I get that I'm pretty mature for my age (IRL 14) when I'm online.

Offline when I'm living... maturity was never an option. XD

I can act (and talk, in terms of vocabulary and word usage) more maturely at times, and people, my friends in particular, have commented on this trait, though I still do like to joke around with my friends and classmates and such.

Uh... If anyone doesn't mind, I could reply to you one by one (mostly negatively)... Or would you hate that?

as of lately ive been "mature" but im still an immature butthead XD i still make cracks at fart jokes and the what not

I used to be really childish on forums because I thought it was "cute" and "cool" and more people would like members who acted that way. You know, using smilies after almost every sentence, and posting random words that are usually said in anime, and written in manga.

Though I did maintain a surprisingly high maturity level for my age during that time at school, if nowhere else. I am proud to say I am even more mature at this moment after being a few years older than before.

All in all, I have been pointed out as being mature for my age by my teachers, mainly because I acted like the shy kid in class instead of the class clown. I could strangely have a normal conversation with any of my teachers as well, even as a freshman.

I guess maturity can mean that you will not start giggling when you hear words that used to be funny in grade school in your anatomy class, and you know when to goof off with your friends, but you know how to act perfectly calm in a classroom. There is really more to it than that, but my brain is not working properly right now on account of the lack of sleep.

Im less mature then most children in elementary probably especially my neighbors that are in elementary there too up tight there probably 10 and im 19.

I'm only mature when I need to be.

When it's not that time, I could be a complete idiot.

yes, sometimes I'm called stuck up by some^^

ya I'm a scorpio and people tell me I'm really mature. (One of my friends thinks mature means being uptight so he considers me a bit uptight) but while most people may think I'm very mature, they havent seen my wild side. (Yes I have one) I can go really hyper and crazy. (If I'm in the right mood)

Compared to others of my age, I'm rather mature. I simply know how to behave in public. The only time I'm immature at all is with my friends, in which even that depends on the situation and who I'm with. For example, a prime example of my immature side: urinating all over a car on the side of a street to send a message: stop parking in the street. Honestly: they have a clear driveway, a roomy garage, and they make it difficult for the newspaper delivery staff and the mailman to get things inside of their mailbox.

But I digress.

Xbox Live is contradictorily a place where I'm more mature than most places. I'd prefer to politely congratulate somebody on their amazing face-stick on Halo 3 than spout something homophobic which countless people (no offense intended, but usually players age 13 and under) seem to do.

In short, immature around your friends: OK. Immature in public: BAD.
