Do you think you're mature?

Only Xbox live alot of people are annoying and I dont even have an Xbox too know that.I just turn the volume off its better then hearing some stupid kid say he is going to do things with your mom not that he would want to if he knew how old she was.
 
I am very young at heart, but I can argue the pants off a lawyer if I am defending my case.
 
I think one way of telling if someone is mature or not is how they handle conflict. Those of greater maturity will not take conflicts personally, will conduct arguments with reason, and will be open for counter arguments. They will also be willing to seek reasonable compromise and will be willing to admit when they are wrong.

Maturity is realising you are not the center of the universe, it's knowing the difference between when it is time to 'work' and when it is time to 'play. Granted many aspects of maturity tie in with responsibility.

In contrast, those that are unwilling to compromise when it is reasonable, unwilling to admit their mistakes, and refuse to see anything beyond their own beliefs or opinions are signs of those that lack maturity.

Likeing pokemon and video games and other 'childish' things has nothing to do with maturity, you can be enjoy these things and still be mature.
 
i've had people tell me that i have maturity beyond my age, and i have had people say i am very immature. i think it really depends on my environment, but on average, i would say mature beyond my age.
 
Lol. I can be soo immature. But at the right times I can be a totally different person and be as mature as any 15 year old. I'd say I am mature, but not all the time.
 
Most of the time, but obviously you can't be mature and still make your friends laugh at the same time. Try it, it doesn't work.

But yeah, I would say I am "mature beyond my years" or however they say it in the movies.
 
Definatly, for my age Yes. I compare myself to friends at school and I noticed quite a difference.
 
See, I took this quiz on Facebook telling you your "real" age. I got like, age 50+. DDDD8

But whatever.. Other times, I'll squeal and giggle and hop around like a fairy.

It depends on the situation; I'm very mature and prudish in public but I'll have my giddy moments and kid around with friends.

I like to think so, but I know I have my moments where maturity is lax.
 
Yes. 'Nuff said. I wouldn't have been able to have as much respect at my school as I do if not for my maturity.
 
Most of the time, but I slip up sometimes ( usually in front of friends... )
 
I'd say i'm mature. I would say a person that is mature can tell when to have fun and when to act serious. I also think that a person has to be responsible.
 
I think that being mature is when you know how to have a fun (safely, of course), but when the time comes for you to be serious about something, you can be. You also have to be responsible and be able to tell what is right from wrong, obviously.
 
I, for the most part, act maturely and have received several comments from teachers and the like about how mature I am. I do have occasional lapses though, mostly when people are saying amusing things in succession
