Does Bianca = Barry?

    A lot of people are saying that Bianca is the writer's attempt at creating a Barry for Unova. Apart from their aesthetics, do you think they are similar? I don't. I mean I like both of them, Barry was great comic relief in Sinnoh but I don't see them as similar. Maybe it's because of their gender difference. Barry was hyper yet serious with his stuff. Bianca is bubbly and clumsy. I guess they are male and female counterparts of each other. I see them as representing the real life teenage boy and teenage girl.

    i kinda think they may be related the physical natures are there and they act the same
     
    They both are different personality wise.Bianca and Barry are both not the same at all,they maybe similar but they are not related at all or even look a like.
     
    Besides their looks, I can see them as being related due to their personalities. I find them to be very clumsy all the time.

    Well, they are very similar in a lot a many different aspects, but I don't see them as copys of each other or anything along those lines.

    Bianca is a very interesting character, I see her very differently from her games counterpart though if you ask me, she seems to have a lot more courage and as well as a better battler. She does seem to always bump into Ash like Barry, but instead of getting angry and giving him a fine, she just saying sorry n' all that jazz.

    Barry is a hilarious character, but he is way more full of himself than Bianca, he seemed to call himself better than a lot of people, commenting on how Ash only won the tag team contest because he was paired with Paul, and thought he could beat him.

    You could argue they look a little a little like each other, but that wouldn't be the animes fault, since they're both characters created for the games.

    Maybe the two are cousins my idea of theme being twins was tossed out the window when her dad appeared sadly....unless that is her step dad...Barry doesn't have a mom in the anime...The plot thickens!!!
