[Question] Does there need to be a Pokemon on map for a mass outbreak?

    I'm currently in an area where Girafarig is spawning regularly.

    Theres no image of Girafarig on the map so I don't think its a mass outbreak but I knocked out 60 Girafarig. Do I have the 1/1365 or whatever the rate is for knocking out 60 without charm or sandwich?

    Should note I still get the message about outbreaks are dispersing after midnight but mainly I just want to know if you can knockout any 60 of the same species to get the higher shinyrate.
