Do you like dogs? Do you think they are good pets?

If you have a dog what is his or her name? And do you play with him or her?

yea i love dogs even tho i cant stand them being all over me with their doggy stench sometimes.....but i always loved bulldogs (english, french).....but the most popular around my way and favorite would have to be pitbulls...even tho they are banned in Miami-Dade County for being violent...if u raise them right and get them from a good breeder they are one fo the best companions to have

I'm more a fan of cats than dogs, but I have one dog at my mom's and one at my dad's (with the prospect of another soon). They are nice enough, I guess. I love most animals. <3 But they are very needy, unlike cats.

yes! they are great companions, very affectionate and protective (at least mine are) and, er, hungry. sometimes i think they just use me for food =3= but i love 'em anyway. i have three dogs:

bartleby (officially harley): a smaller-than average miniature pinscher with bad allergies and a kinda snobby, and for the smallest dog of the bunch, very dominant and mildly aggressive. but he's all talk, when the dogs start playfully fighting he's always the first to back out.

bosalyn (officially rosa parks): a red-haired, fat deer chihuahua (the cute kind not the kind that actually looks like a chihuahua) who i call my pet human because she has the most animated mannerisms. she's extremely passive and playful, but fat

milo: hes a big ol' yellow beast. i'm not sure what breed he is, i know he's a mutt and he's about the size of a full grown lab or something. he's fat like bosie, and slightly less passive but far from territorial or dominant. his biggest fears are his own farts and getting in trouble (he literally shakes when i scold him), and he's a noisy sleeper/bed hog. but he's very sweet and very very very very needy for affection.

those are my dogs! i've posted pictures before, i dont feel like getting them.

    Dogs are awesome!
I had a dog once, his name was Pave!
But unfortunatelly i had to give it away... :'(
But I would love to have another dog! It would be alaskan malamute! Those dogs are SO BEAUTIFUL!

I love dogs. I have ine and his name is Shelton. I love him and I play with him all the time:) So, I think dogs are awesome. XD

I love dogs (though I do love Cats more after getting my wonderful Kitten. <3 ). We currently have one, who is a Jack Russel Terrier. However, unlike most Jack Russels who are loud and obnoxious and you want to just shut them up, she's probably one of the sweetest things you'll meet. Her name is Cooper, which is... a masculine name, but we had no choice; we got her from the humane society, and she already knew her name when we got her, so there was no point in trying to teach her a new one. Sooo, I just call her Coopy, and be amused when people go 'whut' when we tell them that Coopy is a female. :>

I've always loved dogs. I grew up around them but I've never owned one myself. Maybe one day when I move out of this apartment I'll be able to keep one, but for now I'm stuck with Tabatha the high and mighty kitty cat (though really, idk what I'd do without her -3-).

Dogs are alright. However, I have a rather big fear over them as when I was around 5, I was pounced on, and knocked over. The dog that jumped on me was a larger breed, I thought I was going to die to be honest... it wouldn't get off me, and my mum/aunt had to go get my uncle to get it off me because they couldn't. o__o I can't actualy remember if it got me injured, but I know that's what scared me for life, it seems. Don't think I'll ever get over them. When I see one, I have to hide behind whoever is with me, and if I can't get away from a dog in the street, I panic. >////< And seeing things on the news about dogs killing people doesn't really help that.. either.

Anyway, I know some dogs can be very affectionate toward their owners, and protective too. If only I could actualy see that for myself...

I love dogs. I've had three in my lifetime (though the first one died before I could recall and thus I have no memories of him, just stories from my parents.) He was followed by an Australian Shepherd named Buckey that I got as a puppy for my fourth birthday, and she lived until just past my nineteenth birthday. X[

The most recent of them was a Rat Terrier puppy named Pookie my mom adopted right before I turned eighteen. She currently resides with my mom in Cali. D:

    Dogs=<3

I had a golden Retriever named Gus as a kid. :) we had him for 13 years before he died. Eventually I plan on getting another Dog myself, either another Golden Retriever or a Great Pyrenees. :)

I like dogs, and I think they're good pets because of their loyalty to their owners. I have a dog (technically my sister's) back at home (the name is Sugar and the breed is Maltese).

I've owned three dogs in my lifetime. Though I've never owned a cat, so clearly dogs are my favourite.

When I was younger, I had a German Shepherd (cross with some other breeds iirc), who was named Shaka. He was the best dog in the entire world. We originally brought him, because we wanted a dog or something and he was pre-named. I remember he used to protect me from falling into the water and other things as a kid. I remember he died of a twisted stomach, which was sad. I'll never forget that day Pop carried Shaka away to the vet, never to see him again. For the time he was around though, he was amazing. I remember the day he pushed me over by accident when I held onto his leesh. And then, he came up to me and licked me. That memory is sorta fuzzy, but it's implanted into my head. Oh and Shaka never used to bite, all he did was growl when he was upset. He was the kindest dog I've ever known.

I used to also have a Poodle, named Princess, who we got from Pop's daughter. Originally, her children treated Princess badly, so she had a grudge against children. Luckily for me, the worst thing I did to her was accidentally bang her on the head, to which she responded with... biting me. Oh well! But, I do remember Princess was fun sometimes, but she was just a jealous dog, because Shaka got all the attention. She died only a few years after Shaka, if I recall correctly.

Right now, I have a Pug called Cuba. Here's a recent picture of him. Technically, he is my aunty's dog, since she purchased him in 2005 and she never took him home, because of her work schedule, so he just lives here. Anyway, Cuba is such an adorable dog and has such a cute personality. He seems to hate being hugged though, but I hug him anyway. After Shaka and Princess died, Nan and Pop swore we wouldn't have a dog again and now we have Cuba, I'm pretty sure they think he's worthwhile having. XD But yeah, he's a really nice pet, and I'm trying to film him for an assignment but he just wants to lie around, oh well!

It's sad that it stops you from seeing how much fun dogs really are. I hope in the future, you and dogs can get along in general, even after that. I'll help you one day! :D Because really, not all dogs are like that.

    I love dogs :D

They're great pets, although my dog bites me sometimes, but thats usually when we're playing! :D

My dogs name is Flea, and yes, I do play with him. He's 11 and three-quarters, and is a foxie/chihuahua. I don't actually have any pictures on this computer, but when I do I'll be sure to edit this :>

    <3

Dogs are my life! My passion! I'd love to be a dog trainer when I'm older. I have two.

Sparky the aussie terrier/shih-tzu. He loves to play. He's full of energy.

and Deedee the mini fox terrier.
    She... likes food.

I love them to bits and am going to do some back yard agility with them soon <3 They probably won't be in comps because theres no classes or comps around my area, but they can have fun in the back yard. I wouldn't give my dogs up for anything.

I wuv doggies! I have 3 furry dogs. The black one is called Fluffy, and the two white ones which are sisters are called Dolce and Gabbana! xD

I have a slight allergy to some dogs, though I actually have one in my second house, but I cannot stay next to it for a long period. I had a bad experience with a German Shepherd once, nevertheless, I still like dogs in general.
