Amphy is the only one we know to become Dragon type. :V
Dragons are useless now anyway.

It does indeed sound like some RéBURST-esque spinoff. But as for the super saiyan mode, the anime has sort of done it before.

That's a tough one.
Purely by game feel and in-game features, Black 2/White 2 might actually be the ones.

I'm a big sucker for Johto though. Crystal is definitely a candidate.

By feel, B2/W2 followed by HGSS.

By nostalgia, GSC followed by RSE, then FRLG.

Most sets were quite replayable.

My favorite generation by far is the 3rd generation. It has the most nostalgic feel for non-8 bit styles in terms of Pokémon.
