I've been too lazy to watch anymore. It wasn't as bad as, say, Code Geass's first episode.

FT had a decent first episode, if you ask me. It was the first chapter in the manga too, so yeah.

The main thing about the first episode of PPGZ is the animation. Though, honestly, the animation kind of goes up and down throughout the series. When it's at it's best though, it's awesome.
