I caught two shinies in one day. =_=;; i didnt expect it at all.
but I caught one shiny in my HG shiny Pidgeotto, and in my SS a shiny Ursaring. I was looking for other pokemon. Im basically NO good at getting shinies. So :/ lucky day i guess that day.

I caught a shiny Snover in Diamond, that was my 2nd ever shiny I got.
But my first was in Gen III, I got a shiny Maril, it was my favorite since it was Green, and Green is my favorite color :D

in GEN II saw one Shiny but got away and i didnt know what that star going around golbat was, but I realize it when I replayed Crystal to get Red Gyarados. xD. Oh well.

In Silver I got a Shiny Donphan. In Gold I got a Shiny Oddish restarted and eventually found a shiny Weedle. Then in Crystal I hatched a Shiny Elekid, but I didn't realize it was shiny until I saw it on Pokemon Stadium 2. XD;

Yeah. it's called the Masuda Method.

Yeah but it would mean that youd have to get a foreign pokemon of the opposing gender of a pokemon you already have in order to get it and it still is a... What a 1 in 2006 chance?

Pretty much get a English Pokemon and a Japanese Pokemon together, and your chances of hatching a shiny decreases by a good amount.
