Fun fact: The daddy longleg, or Pholcus phalangioides, was, for a long time, considered to be the most venomous arachnid in the world. However, its fangs were considered too weak to penetrate human flesh, thus rendering it harmless. However, in recent years, famed show Mythbusters debunked this philosophy by discovering that the fangs could in fact pierce human flesh. It was later determined that, unless one is allergic to the venom, all one would feel from a bite would be a mild stinging or slight discomfort on the affected area.
