Clannad and K-On! remind me nothing of Azumanga o3o At least Hidamari only has four primary females, but it also has the teacher, who's a bit "out there" like Yukari. Still, both have their differences. Hidamari's definitely a lot cuter and whatnot.

The first one could need something to the left, but the second one is pretty perfectly balanced.
I think the huge and distinctive stars are to blame. I probably wouldn't make them contrast to the background that much.

I have to admit, Colette also looks a bit too bright. At least Marta blends in a bit better. And this time I actually tried to follow the tutorial more than I did yesterday o3o

Personally on the Marta tag I think she should be more left (or center) than on the right, But that's due to my own preferences of where they're facing and if they're looking behind or not. :V

Care to explain what the golden ratio is? /doesn't feel like Googling it; already looking up tuts.

My math grades are high, and I've taken quite a few different types of math, but I don't think I ever learned about the golden ratio. /not to mention I hate ratios too

The Golden Ratio is pretty much the formula for ultimate beauty :3

If you place what you want to be the focus of the image on that spot, it will automatically look better in our heads. This technique has been used ever since the ancient Greeks, and is also used by nature in plenty.

Both my avatar and signature are made following the golden ratio :D
