I bet I haven't even been considered for Mod. No surprises there. *insert stuff about being misunderstood and because I use alts. why would I be considered and yadda yadda* /what am I doing, getting into character or something?

And it wasn't anyone's fault, really; Nica just likes resetting.

How much you contribute to the community/the section you're nominated for (doesn't have to be just threads, but insights on topics or topics for threads like this), how active you are, how well you get along with others, etc. I think those are the basics, from what I've seen. ...I guess attitude can also be a factor, but remember, people have up and down days so I don't think that should be a huge decision maker if you ask me.

And, from a pessimistic person's point of view, it's determined based on how many staff/ex-staff you've befriended! ...Which is not true, of course. I've seen this idea pop up, but it's been disproved so many times.

I'm not being pessimistic; I'm providing an example! ...Unless you meant on the first part. /see, my opinion on how staff are chosen has turned a bit negative since someone's promotion a little while ago...

I'm also sort of being in-character. Ya don't have to believe me if you want to, but anyways, know how sometimes actors get so into character they sometimes act like said character irl? The character I've been forming for the past few days is pretty pessimistic ("What is hope" is his main line) and I still need to write up stuff for him, soooo.

At least the character I'm forming now is gonna be a bit more energetic and carefree with a love for fluffy and soft things!

Timing is everything, ya know? /pfffft I should be working on an SU

My -sometimes- negativity has helped me play the angst-y characters, that's for sure. /it'll be fun playing this guy

And I don't mind! A lot of people seem to call me that o3o

I honestly think most sections (that is, the more active ones) should have at least two Mods. Even with upper staff who can moderate any section, it's always good to have an active partner, ya know? And while some staff seem to be handling moderating their section alone rather damn well, it's still good to have someone by your side!

/Idk what's overcome me I should get off and play TWEWY or something //hasn't touched TWEWY in probably a year; it's somehow overcome being sold in order for me to buy imported games
