    When it relates to what? What do you mean double or single? You need to be more specific... please...
    He means double battles and single battles ;)

    double - more strategy involved. still, i wouldn't like them to be the backbone of the game, because it was meant to focus on single battles. yet double battles still are cooler.

    Yeah double battles.You need strengh and plans in that and the battle is normally longer.

    Although double battles are fun and I agree like it, I prefer single battles, because you don't need to worry about 2 pokemon ^^;

    Double Battles, definitely. You can pull off combinations that could take two turns, like Sunnybeam/Thunder Dance, in only one turn. You can also pull off new combos, like Status Effect/Guts and Skillswaping Truant away.

    I myself far prefer the single battles. The double are just annoying and really serve no purpose. Except to give two pokemon experience instead of one. Other than that I could easily do without the double battles.

    double, you get to test if your oppenent raised his/her whole team and you can train 1/3 of your team

    Double battles requre more skill.

    true doubles, where you have four trainers battling each other, not just 2 on 1

    Try Colosseum then, the only single battles are outside Story Mode. It killed alot of the uniqueness of doubles, but theyre still my fave. More strategy and like CC said, theres a certain thing about them that makes you feel more involved lol.

    i think i prefer one on one battles, but i really like double battles a lot too. i didn't like colosseum's every-battle-must-be-a-double-battle thing though, that got me too frustrated cause the battles took forever
    i like the rate of one on one vs double battles in ruby. they happen seldom in that generation so i dont get bored of them.
    i havent tried battling with a friend controlling the other pokemon though. that sounds like it would be a lot of fun.
