Err I don't know if this is really an issue but you occasionally get double posts all over the place now. This thread as an instance. https://www.pokecommunity.com/posts/8880705/

Though it might be a user related prob where we click the post quick reply button too many times before it loads but, seeing as how it occurs to almost everyone I just thought it might need a look. :)

This is a known problem that has been happening for a while. It tends to happen more in threads with multiple pages of posts which is usually only remedied by remaking the thread.

Known issue. Threads larger than a certain size are affected disproportionately by it. Known workaround is to click "Go Advanced" and post from there.

It's been affecting the site for a while. Can't remember what specifically causes it to happen, but it's something that can't exactly be changed at present.

Like said above it happens a lot especially when the thread has a bunch of replies usually it only happens when you post a quick reply instead of going advanced and posting that way.

Idk why its never been fixed but im pretty sure its not fixable for awhile like donavanjj said.

Simple terms: we know! haha. Much apologies, it'll be fixed as soon as we can.

Less simple: the code that handles same-page interactions on PC (like when you quick reply and the post immediately appears instead of refreshing the page) is extremely old. The Internet was a very different place and that technology was relatively new. So as we've updated other parts of the software, that one bit has fallen behind, and there are some weird compatibility issues between the old and the new.

That's good to know then, I hope this gets fixed soon enough lol.
