    It's the Melissa gym battle at last! And an unexpected contest win! Does this mean we can seriously start thinking about whether Musashi will end up in the grand festival?

    - Never heard Gangar's Japanese voice before, interesting
    - Satoshi's Theme!
    - I thought both Gengar and Buizel would get knocked out haah
    - LOL why's Jun angry!?
    - A contest without Hikari!? ANOTHER WIN FOR MUSASHI MAYBE?!? This *has* to be the point in Hikari not knowing! And she's using Megayanma!
    - LOL everyone think's she pretty!
    - Just noticed the gym looks really cool
    - Like the movie 9 music
    - "NOOOOOOOOOOO" XD
    - LOL Jun's getting angry again haha
    - What's that he's saying about Shinji?
    - Aww, we didn't get to see her contest win...got the badge, though
    - So this is why Satoshi won the other battles easily, because Drifblim is hard
    - Go Hikazaru!

    - Yay Satoshi!
    - Old Kanto ending theme!

    I skip the ending but not the opening

    The next episode looks cute! I like those separation episodes...

    Hikazaru (Chimchar) FTW. It kicked some major ass in this episode.

    I loved the entire episode. But Jesse's contest win has me thinking that she'll show up in the Grand Festival. Why else would they just randomly have her win a contest? :#

    I was thinking that Gengar and Buizel were both knocked out as well. It seemed logical :#

    I love Mime Jr.'s face in that second picture. Epic lulz.

    Can't wait for the next episode; it looks very interesting.

    I can't wait for it to come out in English, I think it's pretty good.
     
    o_o; I know Gengar is a Ghost-type but I never expected it to float around. Maybe because the one in the Mystery Dungeon Special never did. (Keke! : D He sounded neat.)

    I can't get over how TALL Jun is. He's either as tall or taller than Takeshi. Even though he's not so mature. "Nandaio!" every time Satoshi won or used a move that wasn't straight up power.
    Mellisa doesn't scare me as much, she's actually pretty neat. That countersheild thing was used over and over though. Nice concept but that was like the whole battle.

    I did hear quite a bit of nice music. Some Kanto battle music too!

    Good episode, look like the next one will be fun.
    Oh and Musashi's win was like, so random to me. Even though the hair was nice.
     
    I didn't watch the full episode. If only I remembered to watch it!

    Some points I saw:
    -Hikozaru, you rule!
    -When I heard something about Jessie winning the contest, I was like "Oh, great, she's gonna be in the GF..."
    -Why is Jun such a fan of Shinji? Shinji is MINE! He's not your property to brag about or something!

    About the preview...
    -Giant Pokemon Island, anyone? Totally reminds me of it.
    -Nyarth wants to join Ash & co? No way. (I got rumours from Bulbapedia. Please don't make it true...) Or maybe he's trying to trap those oblivious Pokemon...
    -Manene's face is "epic"ly cool. I love you, Manene!

    It's probably a 1 episode thing like when Pikachu wanted to join Team Rocket in AG.

    Oh... But the thought of Meowth WANTING to join Ash is creeping me out. Yech...

    Pikachu was having an amnesia, so that doesn't REALLY count. They practically told Pikachu that it was there with them a long time ago.

    Yeah, Gengar usually doesn't fly around that much.

    Yeah, Melissa seemed better and less screwed up than the first time she appeared. The counter tactic used by Satoshi that was like a lawn sprinkler was pretty repetitive I suppose.

    Loved this episode, he finally battles her! And my second full Japanese episode...

    - Oooh, the Gym looks so cool.
    - You could totally understand Fantina when she said "Gengar, On stage!" LOL
    - Buizel takes Gengar out with a nice move
    - Chimchar takes Mismagius out...
    - ...For someone he found too hard before he seems to be destroying her...

    I don't know. Meowth was quite shocked to see Musashi and Kojiro at some part when they waved at each other. See the preview.
     
    I can't wait to see this episode. It looks really nice. I am not saying this just because of Ash but because of Jessie. I am REALLY thinking that Jessie is going to the Grand Festival. If so then I really hope what I am predicting now will come true. I predict that the final ribbon that Jessie and Dawn are going have to win is going to be via a Tag Contest battle where Dawn and Jessie will have to pair up and the winning pair gets the ribbon. That would be really coolies instead of having these contest where Jessie wins when Dawn is missing.

    Is Jun going to stay with Ash and Co?

    What was that move that Drifblim was using the confuse and knock out Ash's pokemon? Also it seems like Chimchar reached deep since his flame on his back went crazy again but not uncontrolable. Coolies.
     
    Awesome episode, I wondered how Ash would be able to compat those ghosts. And with rings & strings of fire and water he pulled it off, very enjoyable. One of my favorite parts was where Drifblim was slammed down to the ground. :B
