Dragon Age: Origins

This game is amazing. I finished as a Male, Human, Warrior, Human Noble. Archdemon was a jerk to beat, but I got it eventually. :( I find that the Legion of Doom armour is simply amazing in defense, as well as looks, but it's rather.. slow. Starfang sword is amazing, lul.

I'm pretty upset you can't continue doing things outside of Downloadable Content after you finish, however.
 
Possible expansion titled Dragon Age: Awakening slated for a March release.
It'll take place after the end of Origins and will feature atleast 15 hours of gameplay, a new character and a new origin story.

Oh dang, its 2010 now and I have yet to get this game, and they already have an expansion over the horizon?

I really need to get DA:O, and fast. Would like the play as a Dwarf Noble Warrior.

I'd like them to release a DLC which allows players to free roam after completing the game. I spend 19 hours trying to become king, and what do I have to show for it? I'm stuck at camp and can only work with Downloadable Content.
 
Awakening confirmed as upcoming Dragon Age expansion.
You can continue with your current Warden or choose to create a new Orlesian Warden.

Im not getting any expansions, I dont have the money, but I did get 2 free ones that you get

Would all your weapons and stuff carry over if you chose to play as your current Warden?
 
I'm still on the quest for the urn of sacred ashes... i think... I started that quest first, probably rather stupidly, and quickly realised how much i love Morrigan. In all fairness i only got the game on Monday and i've done almost every sidequest i've met.

I was only nice to Morrigan during my first playthrough so I could get the achievement via having sexual relations with her. After that, I realised how big of a jerk she really was. Even moreso than me. XD;

Most of the other characters wouldn't work well. I mean, it could be Morrigan, since she *does* end up leaving at the end of the game. Everyone else can either die or not be recruited at all.

But even then you have the option not to have a child, or for another Warden to have it. So.. iuno. It would be cool if you could see your child, though. :D
 
My assumption for the returning character is the Dog.

I mean, no matter what happens to him, a new one can be written in (as well as a new one for the new Grey Warden). He has several unique gameplay features I doubt they'd want to get rid of (Mabari Dominance, finding cake and items, unique equipment). He's also a favorite of many people, including many developers.
