I would like to join...I really like dragon types...
 
Dialgia- i believe that it was hardend due to traviling through time

Where/how do you think dragons got their typing?
flygon - It has a sandy bum

This wasn't what I had in mind when I sent Silhouette the VM, but It'll do...
Dialga: I thought the Steel-typing came because Dialga was a living clock...
Palkia: maybe it's because it swims though space like it was water?
& I've seen a Dragon/Electric type, it's a Smogon made pokemon, although I don't think it has levitate...

Probably Nintendo/GameFreak couldn't think of other elements so, when they thought that most myths and legends of our world are mostly having terrifying creatures, the most popular is the dragon.

^ They probably have forgotten this place.:disappoin
 
It wouldn't surprise me. Shadow usually forgets this place, or is inactive for days on end.

I figured it was due to thier unique energy, as mentoined in Gold/Silver in the 8th gym...
& It's sad how people could forget the more powerful pokemons...

Although, 2 of the top 3 MOST powerful are Psychic-types... (Referring to Mewtwo & Deoxys attack form.) & the other 1 in the 3 is Arceus, which can be any of the 17 types, so it could count as Dragon...

But that's just for highest stats, right?

I think Arceus and Slaking have highest total stats, but I may be wrong.
 
Arceus looks terrible in Dragon forme/colour and shouldn't be classed as dragon. It is also a cheat at the moment and until HG/SS, will remain that way. And Slaking is terrible for use. You miss every other turn and it's movepool is rubbish. I don't see why they are the best when in fact they both are really not very good at all. A better Dragon Pokemon than Slaking or Arceus is probably Rayquaza (despite it's weakness to Ice) It could still beat Arceus because it can learn a lot of typed TM's. Kinda can't think of more reasons.

Couple of things.

-Arceus is ugly, period. XD

-And having Arceus is not by cheating. I own a legit, japanese movie 12 Arceus. Meaning they are obtainable.

-I agree with you Slaking statement. Slaking is a major turn off. Stats are one thing, but when it comes to performance.. ewwy.

-I don't think you can compare Rayquaza and Arceus (because he can play a lot of roles), and even Dragon to Dragon, Arceus outspeeds Rayquaza by far.

No, by battle stratigies.
Arceues is UNBELIVABLY unpredictable due to all the options it got, so countering it is VERY nearly impossible, even in UBER.
Mewtwo has ALWAYS been considered a pokemon god, ever since it's apperance in R/B/Y. Deoxys-A is because it has the HIGHEST attack & special attack stats, (The base stat, if you use the Smogon rating, is 180)
& has a speed stat to make it a assassin pokemon... (the base speed stat is 150) Thankfully, Deoxys-A has the same overall defenses of Carvanha.
& this is not part of what I'm saying, but the only real way to beat Slaking is to out-predict it. (Beware of a expert using Slaking!)
