It can't learn them. Unless they are cheated into TM's. But that is pointless.

Why do you think Altaria is a Dragon type?

Because Nintendo had nothing better to do than make something that is nothing like a dragon, a dragon.

Maybe it's based off of Rick Wheeler, the main charater of the F-zero GP legend cartoons?
His machine was called "Dragon Bird"...
Although, it was not colored like Altaria...

Actually, the movie 12 Arceus came with the moves Judgement, Spacial Rend, Roar of Time, and Shadow Force.

As for the topic, why Altaria's a dragon.. Psh, you got me there. I'm guessing Japanese mythology?

Arceus can learn them in a special Platinum Nintendo event.

Actually, I can't explain. XP Only it's description you can concur it can be a dragon.

i would like to join please! my fav dragons are
legendary: latios,latias,giratina(both)
non-legendary: kingdra, dragonite,dratini, garchomp
fav. movie: pokemon heroes: latios and latias
no i dont think garchomp should be considered uber,its cool but...
 
Garchomp should not be considered UBER. How is it UBER (apart from the stats)?

Because it's TOO good.
When it's holding a Yache Berry, it can take a Ice Beam from ANY pokemon, meaing it can do whatever it pleases, meaning you're most likey to DIE the very next turn, then most of your other pokemon are VERY likly to be KOed as well. Even in UBERs they a great problem countering it, for any weakness it has, it has a way AROUND it. (Fortunaly, it can't counter all of it's weaknesses at ONCE, which is why you even got a chance.)

But i have seen people easily take down Chomps, maybe cause the chomps might have not been trained enough but hey...i say this..Every pokemon is beatable.
 
Chomp can be beaten by: Mamoswine, Tyranitar(with Ice fang), Regice, Articuno, Latios(can outspeed it) and most Ice-type tanks. If it's not holding Yache. And it has some trouble in doubles. It may have some Uber stats but not so Uber movepool, unlike Latios or Giratina.
 
I've found an awesome Uber doubles start up:

Giratina and Darkrai.

They are awesome. Darkrai with Dark Void (save for chesto berry) and Giratina with Shadow Force. They make a brilliant combo.

That would pawn any opponents! XD I've always considered Giratina the ultimate Ghost uber. Except for the fact that I don't use Shadow Force because they might switch in Snorlax. And Snorlax can kill Giratina.

And Regirock can suck any physicals. And Vaporeon too(a more common).

Thanks. And I'll switch in to Regirock theme later. I'll be waiting for zappy to finish my signature.

And by the way, are we the only who's active here???
