Lance all the way he is the trainer that ash wanted to be lol
 
Not to be a sheep, but...Lance, definitely. He isn't heir to Dragon cave for nothing, after all. Plus, Lance was always a difficult fight for me, whereas Drake...wasn't.
 
I'd like to think Lance would win, but I'm not to sure.
 
drake would win cause i always destroy lance 100% of the time. and this is what would really happen hahahahaha.....

(narator) gyarados hits first cause hes faster but does not kill him though.... leaves him in red. same with shelgon they both are in red.
DRAKE: use rock tomb again....shelgon wins
LANCE: take it easy gyarados you fought well... go dragonair!!! use outrage.
Drake: use protect.... it works
LANCE: same thing!!!
DRAKE: PROTECT.... it fails shelgon faints but dragonair is cofused
DRAKE: go flygon use dragon claw (swipe) critical hit dragonair is in red
LANCE: dragoniar is hit by cunfusion..... he faints
LANCE: GO AERODACTYLE!!!! ROCK TOMB NOW!!! flygons speed is lowered
DRAKE: use crunch..... low damage
LANCE: use hyper beam... it misses he has to rest
DRAKE: nows your chance dragon claw twice.... aerodactyle faints
LANCE: go dragonite use outrage.....flygon faints
DRAKE: go salamence use dragon claw now at full speed. dragonites at red
dragonite used outrage again.... salamence is at low red
DRAKE: again..... dragonite faints
LANCE: go dragonair... use hyperbeam
DRAKE: USE FLAMETHROWER... not very affective dragonairs at low green salamence faints from hyper beam.
DRAKE: go kingdra!!! use body slam
LANCE: USE outrage
narator: kingdra is at red....dragonair is at yellow paralyzed
LANCE: use outrage again... its to slow
DRAKE: again use bodyslam... dragonair faints.

AND THERE GOES THE BATTLE!!!!!!!! the winner is DRAKE but it was close..... LANCE SCURRIED TO THE NEAREST POKECENTER HE PAID THE VICTOR 6000poke

That is more like the Anime, yet it has some game only features. Rewrite it and then we actually know what your writing

See when I did my scenario I used in-game mechanics not all this bad grammar and crappy reallifehax
 
To be perfectly and completely, 200% honest, Lance.
 
I think Drake'd edge it, although I prefer Lance.

Sadly, Kingdra pwns Aero, Salamence > Dragonite (I prefer the latter though), Shelgon <> Dragonair, Flygon > Dragonair, Altaria <> Gyarados.

Then Comes Salamence who MAYBE survives Outrage and Faints Dragonite with Dragon Claw... BUT guess what... Here comes out yet another Dragonite!!!

P.S: Drake doesn't have a Kingdra, nor does he get one!

Since when?

He does in Emerald....not in Ruby/Sapphire, but his team in Emerald has more variation, so I thought we were counting that, and his Fr/Lg team....(first round, as Drake can't gain levels, and they're about equal levels there...Lance being slightly higher)
 
drake. he was truly annoying when i first ran through the e4. i always felt he was the toughest. lance just kinda blah oh its over
 
I would say lance because, he has always been quite a challenge but drake is pretty easy. And my pokemon were both underleveled compared to theirs :|
 
coming from an in-game perspective, i'd have to say Drake.

Drake has Kindra AND Salamence, which means that he can beat other Dragon users prettey well. But in the Anime, Lance would win. He's just the better Trainer. He had a major role in the Anime for a reason
 
I say Drake. But only because he reminds me of my grandpa...who'd be a beast if Pokemon were real. But honestly, I just like Drake better.
 
Drake; Because Lance was just too easy for me...
 
There's a reason why Lance is the Pokemon Champion, and all Drake could do is just guard the door to Steven and Wallace. Even if Drake were to get a power boost, he still wouldn't be able to battle Lance with his upgraded Pokemons. There's something about Lance that makes one feel like he can do anything.

I really want to see a battle like this. It could be interesting to see who would actually win. There's still the battle between cousins, but I guess this comes first. Drake looks like the veteran between the two, but Lance has the power behind him.
