    On Fridays, after beating Mars, you can capture a Drifloon near the Valley Windworks. Did you catch this Drifloon? I did, and I usually try to every single time I replay the D/P/PT games. I do think it's pretty cool that Drifloon is a static encounter Pokémon in the Sinnoh games.
     
    I captured the wild Fuwante/Drifloon a couple of times in D/P/Pt, but only for collection purposes, and not because I wanted to use one on my teams. I'm not a fan of the species, so I had no interest in adding one to my team.
