Anyway, I have the new card of the week.

Crystal Lancer
mana cost:1
Sommoning cost:6
Evolution- (put this on one of you Liquid People)
Unblockable- (this creature cannot be blocked)
Double Breaker- (this creature attacks it breaks two shields)
Power: 8000

Since a lot of people play blockers in my area this card is the bane of there existance, I give this card a 10/10!

Crystal Lancer--Holy Cow! This baby is cool, 6 mana for 8000 power, unblockable & a DB! How cooler can it get! Finally a use for my Aqua Hulcus. I predict that this card will be banned from future tourneys

hmmm...it seems lancer is a force to be reckoned with. Then again,the other evolution is nothing to sneeze at either. This guy is probably harder to deal with in the long run, and the mana offset represents that. a very cool card for sure.

Kenny never gives much of anything a perfect ten. :\ Kenny, that other card is harder to get. Lancer is easier, and much meaner. Paladin is a on shot killer and if you don't do much then, then you're opponent will be getting their blockers back 1, 2,3 and you're back where you started. Lancer is better, because you can just bypass you're opponents blockers and he's a double breaker where the other one believe it or not isn't. He may require more mana, but if I had just one liquid people on the feild and I had to choose between lancer and paladin, then I'll go for the lancer.
 
And vice versa. Don't get too full of yourself, because younkow I can knock you downa few pegs. :P Achtype is basically the sub grouping that people put it in, like control, stall, Beatdown, and in terms of yugioh, Chaos. I just don't believe in building a deck jstu because of Archtype. You need a deck with a lot more in it than just one archtype, because if they find away aroudn part of it, then they'll find a way around all of it.
 
No. I don't give cards a perfect ten unless they are broken beyond belief (see the YGO stuff).

Anyway, as I was saying, I've been talking about the MANA OFFSET between the lancer and the paladin balances things out. See the thing is that the paladin takes the blockers right out and is essentially a finisher to begin with. There would be NO NEED for it to be more than a 1-shot if the game ends after he's played. However, the lancer itself would be the only attacker going through as it's played and therefore might not be able to end a game in 1 turn. That's the reasoning for the mana offset and the rarity difference.

Not that my views are the same as yours. I mean, think about it, I just don't look at the game in the same way as you do. Just like how I can't convince you, you won't be able to convince me. I can only explain why my view is as such as you have explained to me your views.

As for Lancer vs. Paladin on the field, it really depends on the situation of the field for me. I can't say "this is my choice" all the time, as you've said, but I can say that each has their own strengths and it just so happens that I feel the paladin has more power to it. Then again, I thought Elf-X was broken as heck. lol
 
And your point is? See what you're saying is that a symmetrical card such as the paladin has a massive deduction in power level just because it's symmetrical. It doesn't matter really when you're going to END THE GAME with it, tho. I'm saying basically that the paladin has a game-ending effect and therefore its symmtrical behaviour shouldn't matter to you.
