CURSE YOU XBOX! )x

I don't think it was as bad as you guys are making it out to be, but it was really underwhelming. Last years was so much better imo. As far as Kinect goes, I don't really care about it. I know if I bought it I'd play with it a week and then it'd be put away never to be touched again. Seems like MS is pulling a Nintendo and leaving the hardcore gamers out to dry.

Can someone IM me on Windows Live when EA Conference comes on? Even though it won't be worth watching.
I mean really, what can we get out of it? Previews on new sport games and more Kinect junk?

I have to say, as sad as it sounds, EA had a much better conference than Microsoft. Microsoft showed off Wii minigame shovelware crap (now in HD!) for 75% of the conference, while EA had a fairly solid lineup of games that had something for pretty much everyone. MS was horrid...where was Rock Band 3? Fallout New Vegas? Arkham Asylum 2? The Force Unleashed 2? Or even some Kinect games that aren't minigames or Wii clones?

Ubisoft kicks off in just under half an hour. Looking forward to seeing some Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood footage especially. I'm sure we'll get bombarded with Kinect crap through the whole conference, but I hope that Ubi has some good stuff to show.

Hope I can stay awake for the start of Ubi's let alone the duration of it. @_@ I'm really excited to learn more about Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood... if only to actually instill some hype in me for it because I'm on the fence about it still. (I love the franchise but I'm not sure how they're gonna bring multiplayer in. D: Hopefully there'll be gameplay footage tonight.)

Since Rockband3, New Vegas, and Arkham are multi platformers, they weren't showed at Microsoft's Conference.
Not to sure why The Force Unleashed 2 wasn't shown.
But if you remember, EA's conference didn't have any Kinect crap, so I doubt Ubisoft's will.

I'm visiting 2 forums at once talking about all this E3 stuff, so i'll just copy the post I made over there.

Spoiler:

Didn't want to re-type all my thoughts :P
Let's all wait for Ubisoft and Assassin's Creed! :D
12 minutes!

EDIT: Sorry about the swearing. I forgot to proofread and censor myself for PC D:

Lol, that hasn't stopped them in the past. I remember past conferences for Microsoft that had them listing off their lineup of games with 90% of them being multi-platform. They just acted like they were exclusive.

As for Kinect stuff, EA did have that EA Sports Active 2 (I think thats what it was called) that used the Kinect thing for 360, and they spent a few minutes talking about.

I hope I don't sound like a geek for this but I really hope they have some plans for a new Rayman WITHOUTH THE RABBIDS.

I missed Microsoft's, but it doesn't look like I missed much. (And everyone says it sucked.)

I missed EA's, so I'll have to go back and check out that one.

I'm watching Ubisoft's now, but all that's really got me interested is Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Everything else was just stupid. I actually fell asleep during the exercise stuff. That's just silliness. But that Rayman: Origins actually looks like a cool side-scroller.

Similar ideas of boredom drawn by the presentations today. Other than the new Assassin's Creed of course. It looks good, but no where near as expanding on the story as I had hoped for at the end on number 2. Still should be a fun game.
