4th Gen Early Game Pokemon

all I need is my Cyndaquill for the first two gyms and i would be fine
They could add some more Jhoto pokemon,though
 
More Johto Pokémon over Kanto, I can definitely agree with. Especially if they change the PokéeDex idea like the on in DPPt where all we haev to do is see every Pokémon in the Johto Dex.
 
but the thing is with kanto pokemon is that they only added like a 100 to 110 pokemon (6 being legendarys,5 only being catchble,1 being catchble after beating Jhoto,)
 
^ What does that have to do with anything? I mean the legendaries are always caught late in the game, never early.

I'm talking about why is there so many Kanto pokemon

It has to do with how many Jhoto pokmon there is
 
True, that is why maybe they might replace some of that many early Kanto types with more of a Johto variety. At least that is what I'm hoping for anyway.
 
There is Geodude who is Kanto and could be caught early, along with Zubat. Though, these two Pokémon asen't useless. Geodude is actually pretty useful for the first two gyms.
 
Why two? Anyway, I don't think they should overdo the early encounterd Pokémon, or else it would be too easy.
 
Well then just have it as a wild encounter early, but it doesn't have to be too close to the beginning of the game. I think basic Johto Pokémon should be brought up first.
 
No, Pokémon like Elekid should defintely not be encountered so early. It would make the game to easy for players.
 
Mareep

Who else is excited to finally get a Mareep again before the Elite Four? ^_^;;

Its my favorite Pokemon of GSC and I can't wait to see the new moves it gets (if it gets any o.o). Tail Glow is a MUST. And a Zap Cannon TM coming back would be nice, too!

And I'm sorry for bringing this up! Sentret is actually a very good Pokemon and so are Ledian and the others. >_<;;
 
Of course i will be! Ampharos is such a great pokemon to get between early-mid gameplay. So handy and learns some great moves!

All the Pokémon at the start are fairly well, even Sentret after it evolves. Ledian and Ledyba is alright, you do get the benefit of it evolving early though.
 
Yeah I fell in love with Mareep after I ran into it. At first I thought it was a Normal type, but I caught it and found out it was an Electric type. o.o;;
