    OK, I think I have encountered a glitch. After I posted in a thread, I made a typo, so I decided to edit but I accidentally clicked quote and Reply (I am very careless). The error came up saying it was too short. I went back actually CLICKED on edit, but on the spot where it usually says "Save Message", it instead said "Vote Now". I was like WTf, and I clicked it and saved my message. On regular afterward edits, it didn't appear, but after trying to quote myself with an empty message, it appears. I have a pic of the situation.

    Seriously, what is with this bug?

    I had this exact same problem...I think it has something to do with some of the newer themes. =/

    I couldn't really tell you why though.
     
    I'm not getting it... yet. I don't want to curse myself. x_x
     
    Probably just a glitch I assume, the 'Vote Now' button from voting in polls probably got mixed up somewhere in the code? Don't know much about this stuff =/
     
    Oh yeah; I noticed this awhile back, it was just like "vote!" and I was like, "you mean..post?" XD

    I agree, it's probably just a code misprint.
     
    Oh, that's just the Republicans in their new plan to get the White House back. XD

    Pretty cute, this is. At least the button still worked the way it should have, right? It was probably just an accidental swap between the actual images, which would explain how it still worked.

    My bet's on this being a preview of a new "Thread of the Month" system. XP
     
    This kind of thing happens occasionally, the buttons still works the way it should. Like others have said before, it's a small glitch that confuses the post and vote buttons every now and again. This oddity has been brought up before, but since it doesn't pose a real problem it's probably gotten put onto the back burner of bugs to be fixed.
     
    did any of you happen to visit, create, edit a poll (thread) anytime before editing a normal thread?

    I ask as the edit is a javascript based AJAX feature (unless you 'go advanced') and it could simply be related to your browser's cache not clearing properly.
     
    I might also add that it happens when You try and edit a post more than once in the period of 10 minutes.
