Issue: Editing?

So recently as of the past couple days I've been having a lot of trouble with editing. If I am doing the edits where I just hit the edit button usually it works out fine. However if I "Go Advanced" all edits I've made to blog posts, regular posts, and visitor messages have not been getting saved and in some cases when they do make any edit it at all it just messes up punctuation (and then doesn't save anything I added in the edit) like turning "word(s) in quotations" into something like &quote:word(s) in quotations&quote: .

Found an example:

I am using FirefoxDeveloperEdition so this could very well just be an issue with my browser but I figured I'd see if I could get any help before I looked at switching browsers.

I use a non Developer release of Firefox. All edits I've made to posts seem to be processing just fine. Let me double check that, though.

I have to ask: which editor on PC are you using? Basic, Standard, or WYSIWYG? Check in your User CP's options.
