You guys, that is awesome spriting, keep it up. Hopefully this thread wont die.
@Leafeh no problem, you'll just have to catch up, it shouldnt be too hard.

I hope so too...I've been lurking, but haven't really found anything meaningful to say- I'm just waiting till the RP starts.

But, what the hey; I'm kinda new to spriting, but I'll start working on an Insecteon sprite, if you want me to.

I see my sprite post was lost in last nights update thingy, so here it is again.
Spriting is another thing I'm new to, so It's not amazing. Anyways this Metaleon is made from Espeon, Umbreon, Pikachu, and Steelix.

[PokeCommunity.com] Eevee Mania - Hunt for Evo's

and we begin:

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, Pokémon of all species, welcome to the International Pokémon Professor School located in Jubilife City, Sinnoh.

My name is Professor Ichiro Stagg, I am the professor in the Aomori Region and I have called you all here for a very special purpose. On the screen behind me are photos taken at chance encounters of the elusive new Eeveelutions. From all these sightings, the professors have managed to come up with sprite of what they look like. Here:

Each and every one of you has proved yourself to me in your applications and has been chosen to look for these new Pokémon. There will be two people hunting each of the evolutions, in case one shall fail or become incapacitated.

Due to international laws laid down by the World's Society for the Protection and Care of Pokémon (WSPCP) and enforced by the regional police, we professors are not allowed to go into the wild to look for these Pokémon. However, there is a loop hole we hope to exploit, while we cannot go looking for them, you Trainers may "accidentally" stumble upon them and capture them for us. Because the WSPCP have given pseudo-legendary status to these evolutions, you have to be careful since hunting legendaries is punishable by law. Try not to get caught because you will probably come out worse off than we would.

For doing this deed for us, once we have examined the Pokémon, you are free to take it with you and do whatever you like to it, train it, set it free, whatever.
But most of all, beware! There are regional police and WSPCP workers crawling all over and would not hesitate to detail you if you look too conspicuous. In the event of this happening, there is no chance of bailing you out.

For your journey, we have prepared these special items for you to use.

The first is the Prof. Comm. This is a communicator that we can contact you with.

The next is the World Nav. Card which when inserted into your Prof. Comm., it will show sightings and updates on your hunt.

The third and last is the Evo Ball, this ball has a 90% capture rate on Eeveelutions only.

You may take any other items you wish. So, are there any questions before I send you to the places where your hunt will begin?

Rocky was so bored as his dad had signed them up for this "hunt" which sounded pretty boring
"yeah i got a question is there any free food?" Rocky stubbornly remarked
"shush son or you will be grounded this whole trip and a week back"His father whispered
"pfft what ev. if i see that eevee thing it's all mine"
"fine just as long as we catch it together"
man this is so lame why did i agree to come to this? oh wait i didn't!
As Rocky's dad went up took the items and thanked the professor.
Rocky just leaned up against a wall with his Grovyle Blade.

From the farthest corner of the room Janice Spears surveyed the other occupants with critical green eyes. For the sake of the situation she had chosen not to wear the usual bandana over the lower half of her face, but she was still as foreboding as ever in deep black with a calculating expression. Despite how she tried to be presentable for this gathering she had not managed to completely quell her inability to adapt to large groups of strangers. The belt around her waist that supported her five Pokeballs offered her some form of comfort, for although she knew none of these people were a likely threat to her she was glad to know her team was there for support.

She listened to the professor talk, committing his words to memory. She would need them in the future if she was indeed going to be on such a dangerous hunt. When asked for further questions she pondered in silence for several minutes, questioning what there may be that she was unsure about. Among the things that she hoped would not occur, she did not want to be on the trail of her quarry and realize there were things she did not yet know. Of course, as it often went, she couldn't immediately think of anything that needed clarifying. Therefore she would have to wait for the lecture to be finished, and perhaps for the other hunters to inquire about their own uncertainties.

There was hostility in the air- a mixture of tension and apprehension. Bugs did not so readily reveal their emotions, at least not to humans, but all the signs of mammalian aggression were there- hunched shoulders, crossed arms, closed fists, prominent under bites. The people in this room were not happy.

Then again, neither was Ethan Press. If he had known that this activity was illegal, he might have reconsidered. Or rather, his father might have reconsidered. Fame through a deed like this was not what Mr. Press had imagined. Well, that is only if I get caught, Ethan reminded himself. If I win, there is great pride. If I lose, everlasting shame. No pressure.

Heracles nudged Ethan gently with his double-pronged horn, sensing his distress. Ethan sighed, and stroked the Bug Pokemon's blue carapace. Satisfied that his trainer was happy, Heracles became silent and still again. Ethan slumped into the cheap, plastic chair, and kneaded his forehead. Several hundred square miles of possible habitats to search and on top of that the authorities on the prowl...somehow, Ethan knew this could only end in tears.

Silvio thought, "Oh, what's this now, arrest for exploring and discovery? That's no crime. It's more like a hobby." Silvio Vargas is a really experienced camper. He's been through many mountains and hunted Pokemon before. Well, not in the way Hunter J hunts Pokemon. He hunts them to find out info about him. He does things like track them down, spy on them, and if they are really cool, he will catch them. Otherwise, he will record his information in his notebook. So, the confused tall man wondered why hunting these unique Pokemon was criminal.

The camper was handed out his new technology. "This is pretty cool stuff," Silvio thought. His mind was taken away from his confusion as he played with his technology. Silvio was unused to the technology, as he usually didn't bring them on his trips. He just lived off the land. No technology, no Pokemon. Just himself and the forest, mountain, or wherever he is. Well, he did bring some things with him. His notebook, of course, was essential. Also, he brought a sleeping bag on his expedition. His compass, Pokedex, and all of his clothes. He didn't really have advanced technology with him. Also, he was unused to his Pokemon. He hadn't seen them in 8 years. They had probably weakened a bit from not being used. So, when fighting Fissureon or whatever the name of the Eeveelution he was supposed to find, he'd have a tough time. So, he was going to have to juggle his technology, training, and hunting. "Chill out, Silvio," the worried camper thought. "You've done this kind of thing before. You'll manage just fine on your expedition. Now, where is my expedition rival?"He spotted Rocky Markov and his father. The kid, Rocky, looked bored. He didn't look like he was going to last long out in the woods. Though his father might... "No, my mind needs to stay fresh and clean, no pressure." He looked around for his partner Julian Aguinaldo, a friend who he met and traveled with for a little while in Sinnoh. Silvio patted Julian on the back and said, "Let's do this thing, buddy."

Sorry people, you may well be woundering why it is considered illegal to hunt these pokemon and why you guys could get arrested.
I will explain it now, the WSPCP have made it clear, under article 3, section 4 of the Kanto accord states that:

"From the signing of this accord by all parties, the parties involved hereby agree to stop any activity that includes hunting and/or endagering of legendary and pseudo-legendary pokemon by the parties and by people they may see hunting legendaries. Anyone who purposely goes out to hunt legendaries will be detained and incarcerated for as long as it is deemed that they are a menace to the health of legendary and pseudo-legendary pokemon."

Unfortunately this means that we as an organisation cannot hunt them and neither can you go to find them purposely however, if you may stuble upon them and they attack you then the accord goes out the window.

Joan Sky all but bounced up and down on the spot as she heard the Prof. talk about their mission and what they were to do. Torry, her Blaziken, stood beside the Bird Keeper and rolled his eyes. He placed one claw on his trainer's shoulder to keep her from bouncing too much and making a new hole in the ground. Joan looked up at her Pokemon and smiled at him before looking back at that Prof.

When he mentioned that they were be put together in pair, in case one of them mess up or couldn't continue, Joan looked around the room for another Bird Keeper. When she didn't see one, she smiled widely.

"Great," the woman whispered to herself. "Then the glory will be all mine!" She didn't even care that what they were doing was, really, illegal. Joan had every confidence that they would be able to find this new Eeveelution with out getting into any trouble.

Torry once again rolled his eyes and grumbled under his breath. Then both listen as the Pokemon Prof. explained their equipment. When the Prof. asked if they had any questions, Joan said, "Just one; when do we start?"

Dave leaned forward off of his chair, with Aipom perched on his shoulder. As he turned around to see the other people in the room, when he realised how serious this adventure was going to be. As the Prof. was going on about the laws and other rules the nerves started to hit him, as he began to question himself. Under his breath he mumbled "What am I doing here, I'm no hunter, no adventurer, some of these trainers and pokemon look way tougher than us, they look serious, and pumped for this". As Dave pulled his black hat down slightly, he turned to Russ, who greeting him with his usual cheery smile and bright eyes, this lifted his spirits slightly, but he was still very apprehensive of the task in hand.

The Proff. Comms were being handed about to people in the room, when Dave received his he had a quick glance at it, and put it into his pocket, leaving the instruction booklet in his hand, which was thrown into in the other pocket. As he scouted around the room again, he saw that there were no other trainers who looked in the slightest bit like an engineer, although people wouldn't think he was one with the clothes he was wearing now. As the Proff. asked for any questions, Dave said nothing, he knew what he would have to do, just doing it would be the hard part.

"That should be no problem. I'll act as if I was on a normal camping trip, doing some exploring of regular Pokemon. No one'll think anything of me," Silvio thought as he absorbed the words of Professor McStagg. There were 2 things that this guy was good at: camping, and acting casual. He is able to look normal. He is unnoticed most of the time. He thought that this would be easy.

Silvio broke away from the crowd so he could talk to Julian Aguinaldo. They went into a corner away from the others to talk about the mission.

"Julian, what is going through your mind right now?" Silvio questioned.

"I'm thinking, 'This is wrong. I should not be doing this. I'm a good guy. I've never gotten into any trouble before, and I am not about to start.' But at the same time, 'This is a once in a lifetime discovery opp

I'll finish later...

Professor Anton Stagg surveyed the room, the numbers were not what he expected but they would do.
He was hoping that more than one person would be searching for these elusive pokemon but it was fine
by him, these people looked dedicated and like they knew what they were doing.

He waited for people to begin asking questions, many of them looked like they were holding back and
others surprised at the fact that this was illegal. He watched the moody teenager, Rocky Markov he
remembered, and woundered why his father would take him on a journey.

He looked over at the one in the corner, unfortunately he did not remember their name, just that they
were after Insecteon. Something about this person drew him in, he had the feeling that this person
might actually pull through.
"that's it, Ethan Press, Bug Catcher." he remembered. He would definately be keeping an eye on this one.

He looked at the amazement the camper made when he recieved the tools, the scientist here had been
working on these prototypes for four years now. they believed that these gadgets could not me traced or
their signal interrupted, they could communicate with the hunters without the worry of security.

The balls were even better, at a 90% capture rate, albeit only for eevee evolutions, these balls rivaled the
master ball.

The one he was wary of was the bird keeper. Joan Sky seemed quite energetic at this opportunity and looked like
the one most likely to give themselves away. She was an expert in bird keeping, he had no doubt in her
experience but the way she presented herself today, he began to question his decision. However, there was no
other bird keeper to take her place, actually, no better bird keeper.

Then she asked the question: "When do we start?"

His attitude towards her immediately changed, she seemed dedicated and ready to start. His money now fell on this
girl to be the first to return. "It seems that my first impression of her was wrong." he thought.

Then he looked at Dave sitting in the chair, this engineer did not look like one which was good, they would never
suspect him. However Dave did look hesitant, as did many of the people. This wans't entirely illegal but they
could still be prosecuted even for exploiting the loophole. Anton now hoped that these people would not leave
now, he really needed them.

This bunch of people was all that he had, his research relied entirely on these people completing their hunts,
no their missions to capture theses pokemon.

Then he had an epiphany, he turned around and grabed his cell phone from the pocket of his waistcoat and dialed a number.
He waited for five rings before the person on the other end picked up.

"Hello? Uncle?" the voice queried.

"Yes Shin, it's Anton, I have a task for you." He replied.

"What kind of task, Uncle?"

"It seems that not as many people as i had thought have shown up. so i was wondering if you would like to join in on the fun?"

there was silence on the other end of the line.

"Well, do you want to or not?" Anton asked again.

"What positions are open?"

"All of then except the ninja."

Again, there was silence on the other end.

"I'll take the position of Channeller."

"Channeler? that's fine, there was supposed to be a second one but they haven't shown up yet."

"Sweet as, it'll be someone to work with if they decide to come."

"I want you over here before everyone leaves alright?"

"No problem."

"Before you hang up, watch out, the WSPCP are on the prowl. They suspect us of something."

"Like I said, no problem. I'll just get the others and be right over."

The line went dead and Anton turned back to the people.

"Buisness call." he said.

Rocky just sat there so bored until he saw a picture of the pokemon he would be hunting Fissureonnow why does that sound familiar? As Rocky thought he remembered his dad researching about eevee and finding some interesting forms just as he remembered his attitude changed slightly.
He ran up to the table and grabbed the items
"don't worry prof. i will not let you down" as he started to run back down he stopped turned around and asked
"hey can we get some information about this creature if it is on a map my dad will find it faster then Dialga can travel through time." He stood there with for the first time in his life a smile on his face.

Dave stood up off of his chair, with Russ moving onto his head. He pulled out the Proff. Comm. he threw into his pocket moments ago, and gave it a proper look. It was a good piece of equipment no doubt. As the Special balls were being passed around and Dave received his, his mood changed. Having all of the equipment, and seeing everyone else ready to go had finally sparked him, he was ready to go. The picture of metaleon was passed to him on paper, as well as uploaded onto the Comm. It didn't look as he was expecting it to, even though it was an eeveelution, Dave was expecting something more legendary looking, larger, scarier. Dave thought to himself "So it's a steel type...that could be a problem, we don't have anyone on the team who is effective against it, all I have is Russ' fire punch, and he's only a baby, he can't take on a legendary pokemon." He sat down again "Maybe we should fight fire with fire, or metal with metal in this case, and go head on with Metang, but if it's got the power they say it has that isn't going to be enough". Dave continued to think to himself "What am I doing, I'm never like this, this is the wrong mental attitude". Dave looked up once again to see Aipom standing on it's tail on the back of the chair in front. It looked for a second, then smiled at Dave. "You're right Russ". Russ then leaped back onto Dave's shoulder. As he turned his attention back to the Proff he had just finished a call "Business Call" he said. Dave let Tech out of his ball, Russ, quickly jumped over onto Tech.

"Sure, what ever you say Professor," Joan said with a grin. The woman had no idea who the man had called, but she really didn't care. As one could probably tell by now, Joan really didn't care a lot about a few things. But that was just how the girl worked. She had discovered that flying or bird like Pokemon don't do well with tense or negative personalities, so she had just always kept an upbeat and happy personality.

She then heard the one kid's question and thought that it was a good one. "Yeah, I realize that the evolution I'm looking for will be in the sky, but do you have any suggestion as to where I could maybe look? I mean, do you think that maybe this thing would like mountains or just really tall tree? Come on, I need information here!"

Torry once again sighed at his trainer but didn't make any outward facial features and looked around at the other trainers gathered. He knew that they most likely wouldn't be dealing with most of these people since they are going after different evolution, but he still wanted to be aware. Who knew if any one of the would have the bright idea to go after one of the other evolutions. In case that happened, he wanted to be ready.

Raydin sat forward in the seat. Kuli was wrapped around his left arm, Radi was sitting on his riht shoulder, and Krein was floating somewhere to his left. The large room was filled with other trainers, supposedly all of them were hunting these new eeveelutions. Raydin didn't care what they wanted, he was after that dragon, he would get it...Nothing would stand in his way, except kuli if the eeveelution was shiny. Raydin cracked a smile, he made a joke.

Raydin listened carefully as further instructions were given. They weren't allowed to 'hunt' the pokemon, because of its pseudo-legendary ranking. There were going to be teams of two..blah, blah, blah, blah. Whoever he was gruped with, better not slow him down. For that matter, were there any other dragon trainers in here? Raydin looked around for a moment before shrugging. It didn't really matter. He smiled as he petted krein's head. His pokemon made him happy, and he made them happy. he would make this 'komodeon' happy too. Raydin leaned back in his chair and smiled, so the hunt begins...

Elizabeth pulled on her gloves and tightened her ponytail, digesting what the professor had said. If what he said was true, there was really nothing legendary about the dragon Eeveelution, pseudo or not. When Elizabeth discovered what it was that turned an Eevee into it, it would simply prove that statement further. But a partner? Okay, she understood the value of taking precautions, but two Trainers meant double the chance of making a critical mistake, even when not considering that her partner would more likely than not be less qualified than Elizabeth herself. Elizabeth craned her neck and looked around, trying to spot someone who could possibly be her partner and finding nobody. She sighed and picked up the items that the professor had handed out. The World Nav. Card seemed a little bit superfluous, though she supposed that it was more for the professor's benefit than her own. The Evo Ball would most definitely be helpful, though potentially a bit unnecessary as well. Elizabeth looked back up at the professor with a frown.

"I have a question," Elizabeth said firmly. "If we do get captured, are we expected to lie to the authorities? You do realize that our situation with the police will only grow worse if they find out that we didn't tell them the truth, and since I am assuming that whatever findings you take away from the new Eeveelutions will become public at some point, so what do you want us to do? I'm not worried about getting captured, but one person who tells of our endeavors could jeopardized the work of all of us."
