Since Nintendo Japan didn't see it fit to bring their tourney worldwide, I figure we should run our own. Welcome to the Eevee tourney, where Eevee and its siblings get to run rampant all on their own!
Sign-ups run from now until the 17th and battles will begin on the 18th.
Rules:
1. This is a gen 5 WiFi tourney. You must have one gen 5 games and access to WiFi to participate.
2. This tourney will be run in doubles flat rules.
3. All pokemon except for Eevee and its evolutions are banned.
4. Item and species clause are in effect.
5. Self-KO clause is in effect.
6. NO HACKING. If you suspect that your opponent is using hacked Pokemon, contact me so I can verify the team. If you are being suspected of using hacked Pokemon, you must trade your entire team to me (or to another hack checker, trade corner hack check thread) so that I can verify that your Pokemon are legit. Hackers will be automatically disqualified. Your team will be returned immediately upon being checked.
7. You may not discuss someone else's team either on a public thread or in VMs/PMs. Anyone caught doing so will be automatically disqualified. Go ahead and talk about your own, if you want.
8. You have 3 days to get your battles done once match-ups are posted. Failure in completing your battle and not making a reasonable effort to schedule your battle will result in a loss. You may withdraw from the tournament at any time.
9. This tournament will be run in Swiss format, not elimination. You won't be booted from the tournament for one loss, so don't worry. There will be 5 rounds.
10. Make sure to report your wins, losses and scores. I can't take the word of one person for obvious reasons and the scores are necessary to determine final placements.
