When my egg hatched it was shiny, but when I look at it's stats it's not. Is it a glitch of some sort? If it is how can I fix it?

Post a pic'. Maybe you think it's shiny, but it's actually not.
Some shinies have barely any colour difference after all :s

Yeah... check. Stars may appear btw when the egg hatches but they are different to the 'it's shiny!' stars, so maybe that misled you? If it doesn't appear to be shiny in the status screen and in battles then it's more likely you didn't look properly the first time - don't believe it can really glitch like that. =/
But if it did - post a pic in the Help thread and ask there - in which case it is an....odd glitch. However going to close this now - don't see any more discussion coming now, and questions should go there anyway.
