The Tentacruels held onto their victims, dragging them along in the whirlpool. "Foolish Lugia," One scoffed. Soorya had stopped strugling; she was beginning to feel very light-headed. Kasumi on the other hand, bit the Tentacruel, kicked at it, did anything she could to escape it's slimy grasp. The only responce she got was almost having her front legs ripped out of their sockets.

I stopped doing the whirlpool and swam away from them and turned around. My eyes were glowing blue, and I was starting to get mad. I launched an Hyper Beam against one Tentecruel and waited a bit. It hit, I swam and bit his tentacle and used my left leg to try to make the tentacruel let go of Soorya. I remembered Kasumi and looked at the other tentacruel. I made him let go of Kasumi controlling his tentacle and I made him hit himself with a tentacle. I used a glare to try to paralyze him. I was getting tired... but suddenly, I felt the power of the water and my strenght was back again.

Kasumi floated upward, unaware of what was going on. She could feel herself slipping away. No...! She thought, desparately trying to hold onto herself. Soorya on the other hand was sinking. Her eyes fluttered, then closed. Kasumi saw this, and with the last of her strength, used psychic to pull herself and her friend out of the water and onto the shore, where they lay motionless.

I saw that Kasumi and Soorya were finally out of water... and I made sure they were away from it. I glared at the two tentacruels and electricity started to surround me. I summoned a thunder even inside the water. Obvisouly, the whole water was electrified, and the tentacruel were badly damaged. I made sure they stayed away from the water pulling them from their tentacles and I jumped out of the water. I let the tentecruel go and they hit the ground. I landed softly on ground and looked at the tentacruel. I sighed and then was silent until I joked ".... I love that water". I looked back at Kasumi and Soorya and their were motionless. I was worried and focused. I healed them and got neared them... were they really healed?.

*Acuro laid on the floor and sighed. He didnt really do much...at all.He tried to moved on but his body was still under the shock.*

"Darn it...*Sigh*Maybe I should just go back to spring. It does seem Like I'm going to be any help."

*Acuro tried around and slowy started to move away.He got used to the pain and started to walked fast.He was pay atteion to his paw and tripped over a rock.He fell and landed about half-way from the sSprings. He tried to get up but decided to stay for a while.*

"Crap.I guess I'll just wait for the effect to wear off..."

Zukra was close to the bottom of the mountain now. She was back in her Latias form and flying with her three friends on her back. Finally she was out of the fog and off the mountain.

"We'll walk from here." Said Twilight. The three little Pokemon jumped off her back and trotted off towards the Springs.

"Alright then." Zukra smiled and sped off in front of them.

OOC: I guess I should so this...I'm probably wont be online for a while after monday....maybe a week? I'll leave control of my charcther to anyone but,try not to make me look so stupid

OOC: Sorry, looks like I missed a bit. =P Ah well, here goes!

"Black Thunder? And the Terrible Ten? This cannot be good," I said, running down ahead to meet up with Lugia, Kasumi and Soorya. Kasumi and Soorya were in a bad way, and I checked them over after Lugia healed them.

"That pokemon really scares me; how are we going to defeat him? Then again, I suppose he will be our 'warm up' for the stronger ten we're going to have to face," I said, nudging Kasumi.

She seemed alright, as did Soorya, it was just a matter of them regaining consciousness. I turned to Orkairn and Rave, "Well Zukra now has her power of course, so, which one of us is next?"

Rave looked a bit unsure, and as Zukra, her friends, and Acuro came down the mountain, I suddenly remembered that I had discovered a bit more about mine.

"Oh, I, uh, I think I know where mine is...," I paused, thinking again, "I think it's in the old human city of Goldenrod."

"aaahhh... Goldenrod... the famous city of the humans... it had a Radio Tower... but it is destroyed... and so is the city..." I said as Chiira said the name of Goldenrod. I remembered that a man had my Silver Wing... but I got it first to avoid the danger of being captured. I looked at everyone else... and remembered of Chiira. "so... that's in Johto... not in Hoenn... who will go?" I added.

OOC: Iron Monkey Zukra already took off. Maybe you should try to powerplay less. -_-
She did? *checks* Whoops, sorry about that. Forget my last post then. As for powerplaying, that only really happened once with Lugia... I'll be more careful in the fututre however.

((Ooc: Actually, Iorn Mankey, when you control anyone's character, describing their emotions or not, it's considered powerplaying. I let you control Kasumi because I trust you, even though if anyone else tried it I'd hunt down and destroy them. Most people don't aprove of it powerplaying.))

OOC: Alright then, if anybody finds any of my posts intrusive in any way, feel free to PM me about whichever details you find does not fit your character and I shall remedy that as soon as possible. And, for fututre reference, some of you may have noticed that I'm not on here often. Thus so, I offer to share authorship of my character to dark_espeon, if not willing, then Light Azumarill, and if again, not willing, anybody.

<So... that's in Johto... not in Hoenn... who will go?> Lugia asked, as he looked around at the company. Orkairn, after making absolutely sure that Soorya and- more importantly- Kasumi, were in no mortal peril, he turned around and joined Lugia at the surveying of the situation.
<I personally think those who can fly and the most lightweight of our group.> He stated, matter-of-factly. <Johto is a long way off, and it would be best if you guys were weighed down as little as possible.>
Lugia nodded in agreement; that made sense. Another voice, barely a whisper, added.
<It would also be best if some of us stayed....> Everbody whipped around. It was Soorya. <We could all go quite easily, if we wanted to, but-> She gestured weakly at herself and Kasumi, who was also stirring. <-some of us are not quite fit for travel...>
<Never mind ''fit for travel''-> Orkairn started.
<-It's more than enough that you're fit to talk!> Rave finished.
<We were worried sick about you two.> Chiira added. <Are you alright?>
Soorya was now propped up against a tree, Kasumi lay down beside her. They looked at each other, then back at the group.
<I may not remember my life too well, but I'm sure I've been better.> Kasumi said, a slight hint of her old smile sneaking back.
<I've certainly had better days.> Soorya agreed.
Everyone released a long-held sigh of relief.
<That makes at least two staying then.> Lugia stated. He looked about again. <Orkairn?>
Orkairn looked at his two friends, their deep injuries were still displaying themselves boldly, and he was furious that he couldn't have helped more back when they were underwater. He dragged himself forward, and set himself beside the two Psychics.
<I'll stay.> He chanced another guilt look at his injured friends and added. <What of you?> He was very aware of the shallow, uneven breaths of the Gardevoir beside him. <I'm not much of a medic, and..... > He also noticed that Kasumi was unusually translucent, <-they don't look their best...>

OOC: Personally, it's never really bothered me if anyone controls my character, as long as they're not making some major decision for me. In the RPGs I used to be in a long while back, they were a little less strict about powerplaying than you guys, but I'm learning to respect the ways of PC's RPGs. ^-^ Forgive me if I ever used one of your characters in the past.

"Okay, so if we're going to leave, we'd better get going," I said, looking to each of them, "It's going to take a little while to fly to Johto and back, and I want to get this over with as quickly as possible."

I was a bit apprehensive that Kasumi wasn't coming; I had always considered her somewhat of a friend, but then again, she had to find her power all alone, and it was time for me to face up to what I had to do.

"I'm not afraid," I said mostly to myself aloud, "I know that the humans there will surely help me." I kept telling myself that, but how was I to know for sure? They probably want the Terrible Ten gone too, so why wouldn't they help us?

But somewhere in the back of my mind a voice kept telling me that the humans wouldn't exactly welcome our presence....

I shook my head; I couldn't think of things like that now. I had to keep optimistic, and deal with it when the time came.

"Right," I said, nodding to Lugia, "Let's get going. And all of you staying behind, be careful. I'm sure that Black Thunder is out there lurking somehwere, and there's no doubt he might try and strike while we're all separated."

I gave them a warning look. Black Thunder was no joke.

"I will know where you will be... so if you have to go to another place... I will know... but be careful... evil is everywhere" I said to the others staying. I crouched to let Chiira and anyone who was going to be with us jumped on me. "I'm going to fly fast... so better tell me when you're ready" I added.

ooc: Hurricane Emily is going to cross the Mexican Gulf... so like I live near the place where Emily is going to hit first... I'm possibly not going to be online so much like before... so... oh well... I leave my character's control to Light_Azumarill... just... don't control my emotions... or else!! XD.

"Well then, we'll be seeing you soon. And who knows," Kasumi paused, letting her words sink in, "Maybe Orkairn will find his power while you are gone." He tail flicked back and forth, passing through Soorya. The Gardevoir looked a bit nervous, watching it pass through her, though Kasumi took no notice.

They all smiled weakly as Lugia took off, and Soorya added, "Don't forget, we're psychic, so contact us if anything goes wrong." Lugia nodded in agreement then flew away, disappearing into the clouds. Everything was quiet once more. Kasumi began focusing on her energy, trying to make herself look more solid. It worked, but not well.

Then, an idea hit the ghost. She had the powers of the spirits, so what were her powers? Kiki had mentioned something about being more connected with the deceased than others... What had that ment? She closed her eyes, conecntrating on Kiki. Nothing happened. Frustrated, she let her mind open, searching for some form of left-behind energy... Nothing. No one had died in this area. Another idea came to mind, and Kasumi focused on the pendant around her tail. It glowed, and Kasumi really had no idea what happened next.

She lowered her head and left her own 'body' which she didn't know was possible. After all, that body was merely an imprint of her life. The others couldn't seem to see her, although the stiffened, as if sencing something. An impish smile appeared on Kasumi's lips as she pulled on Orkairn's claw with her tail. He jumped, yelping.

"Kasumi!!" The Crawldaunt expressed, looking at Kasumi's limp body.

"I'm right here!!" Kasumi said, not being able to contain her excitment. She laughed, jumping around him. He spun in circles, sencing were she was, but not seeing her. The spirit returned to herself, chuckling. "So that must be one of the things I can do!!" She said happily. Soorya looked impressed. "Wonder what you two will be able to do, with all your powers."

Zukra listened carefully to the conversation around her. She was really curious to see what everyone else's power would be. She didn't know everyone's full power but then again, she didn't know her own power yet. Just that she had power over wind. Maybe I'll just do a simple test. She thought with a slight shrug. She turned back into a Latias and thought about how to make her power work. She squinted and moved her head. A few more tries and a gust of wind blew past her. She grinned and tried again but only created a few small gusts before quiting. Well it was an interesting ability but how it would help her against the Terrible Ten was a mystery. She would just have to practice a little and wiat to see what she could do.

OOC: Good luck with Emily Max Hunter!! And apologies, I would have posted earlier today, but I got too busy.... >_>

"I think I know where to go," I said as Lugia began to take off, "I think that I have to find the group of humans that still live underground the city."

"Do you know where that is?" Rave asked, looking a bit worried.

"There was supposedly an underground tunnel that humans used to travel before the Terrible Ten. I think that that's where they live now; in that tunnel. That I believe is where my power is," I said grimly, hoping it was as easy as all that, "I just hope the humans are friendly to us. They should be, we pose no threat to them... but still."

I had a very good view of humans. They were more than friends to my parents, and so those feelings stayed with me. Unfortunately, no one in Goldenrod would ever recognize me; my parents' trainers are long gone now.

I sighed a bit as I felt the wind blow through my hair as Lugia continued to fly off towards the once densely populated metropolis.

'Please go well,' I thought, 'Please....'

<Maybe Orkairn will find his power while you are gone.>
Orkairn jumped slightly as Kasumi said this. Having been so distracted by the past events, he hasn't thought about his power at all. Four of the Chosen have now acquired their power within a mere 5 days or so- his turn would be coming up soon. He did not relish the idea of returning back home, seeing as how many murders- committed by himself, no less- took place there. As he wallowed in swamps of self-loathing and guilt, he felt a tug at his tail. He whipped around and saw- nothing. Looking about wildly, he then noticed a sight which chilled him to the bone- Kasumis spirit lay still as stone. He cried out.
<Kasumi!>
But then she began to move again, and a wide smile decorated her face. He breathed a heavy sigh of relief. Kasumi then turned to him and Soorya.
<Wonder what you two will be able to do, with all your powers.">
They mused upon it for awhile. Soorya then noticed Zukra trying out her power. She looked at Kasumi and Orkairn,
<Well, out of the four powers we've already uncovered, two of them appear to be a ble to manipulate their element in some way,?> She said, reffering to Acuro and Zukra, <Maybe Orkairn will inherit something similar, and be able to control waters.> She paused. The other two nodded, that seemed reasonable, Soorya continued, <However, when we met him, Ho-Oh said that I was probably the Chosen of Heart... and how can one manipulate hearts? Does that mean I'll be able to control other peoples emotions?>
They thought about this for awhile. Finally, Kasumi let out a sigh and spoke.
<You've got me on that one.>
<No idea.> Orkairn agreed.
<Same here.>
The three looked around, Zukra has joined them.
<So Zukra,> Soorya asked, <How's your power working out for you?>
The other two looked at the Latias, deeply interested. Zukra sighed.
<Good enough, I suppose.... I can summon up gusts of wind, but I can't pull off anything big yet...>
<Bah, give it time. You have, after all, only acquired it a few hours ago.>
She smiled a bit.
<Yeah...I guess so.> She looked around, <Anyways, who else is here? I can't see anyone...>

Kasumi leapt into the tree Soorya was leaning against, settling on a branch over all her friends. "No idea... I don't see anyone..." Sapphire Springs seemed deserted. Soorya's question still confused her though. Being able to minipulate emotions? She and the Gardevoir were able to control others minds, but not their emotions. It seemed impossible. Unless...

"Maybe you'll be able to see into people's past," She said, her eyes sparkling. Kasumi knew hardly anything about her life. "Or, maybe you can convert the emotions of yourself and others around you into attacks that don't even exist..."

Kasumi only knew she could leave herself behind, if needed. What good would that do? She sighed, then shifted around on the branch into a more comfortable position, scanning the area. Her sapphire gaze met nothing unusual, for now. I Hope Chiira's back soon...

That's actually what I had planned... hunh. Great minds think alike.

Now, I was just a-wondering; who decides what the NPC's powers are going to be like and where they get them? I created Soorya, and Ravekid handed over his character to Light Azumarill, but what about John and Kyofin? I guess Kyofin can go to LA too, since she created the larger part of him, but that still leaves John unaccounted for...
