With the creation of Sinnoh, it's Gym Leaders, towns, cities and new native Pokemon followed the creation of an entirely new Elite Four. What were your thoughts on them? Did you have a favourite? Were they even a challenge for you? If so, who?

I loved Sinnoh's Elite Four -- their design seemed to be really abstract and edgy yet simple at the same time. Aaron is probably my favourite followed by Flint, however I think Lucian is more like my irl personality.

Good memories of these guys! Though I remember the time I mistook Lucian for a girl due to his hair. Apart from that huge mindblow, I think my favourite would be Aaron. Unlike the various other bug catchers of the franchise who seem to like collecting non-poisonous and poisonous caterpillars, Aaron actually has a 'rip everything to shreds' team ready to go. And his skydrop's great too. Aaron's just a beast like that. :]

Bertha wasn't too memorable as an old lady character. She was kind and gave advice to the player but that was her only real role. Flint was another one of my favourites - I loved the afro, his usage of fire pokemon (at least in Platinum) and how he somehow managed to become friends with Volkner. And then there was Lucian, the intelligent one who favoured psychic types. Overall they were all some tough battles, especially when it came to the rematches. RIP my 3 man team, killed by a postgame Flint. :(

Sinnoh Elite Four members were few of my most favorites.

Their designs, if you ask me, seem to fit them quite well. Aaron specializes in bug-types, if I'm not mistake, and his lime-like hair helps representing that; Lucian's calm and cool-looking, and psychic-type Pokémon could generally be associated with those characteristics; Flint seems rather hyper, always-on-fire, which does relate to fire Pokémon; and so forth.

Personally, my favorite would likely have to be the first member--Aaron. He was very easy to get through, at least for me, and by re-battling him constantly, I was able to level my Pokémon up quite easily. Due to similar reasons, I'm also fond of Flint. As for least favorite, I would say Bertha; from my perspective, her team was very, very tough, especially those Hippowdon she would carry (their defenses were very high, making it a challenge to get their health to a low amount).

Am I the only one on this forum that thinks that this Elite Four was a joke save Lucian? Admittedly, Aaron's Scizor in Platinum can prove fairly difficult should you not have a Fire-type or a Steel-type of your own to resist its attacks, and maybe his Heracross without Flying-type moves, but Bertha and Flint are definitely nothing significant with the proper type coverage, since the former has several Pokémon weak to Water and Grass, while the latter is all weak to Water and Ground (even though he has Sunny Day for the Water-types).

Lucian, however, is well known for his difficulty based on Bronzong's defenses, and Alakazam and Espeon for the attacking side. But he'd still have to be my favorite.

When it comes to the Sinnoh Elite Four, I did have a couple of favorites. The ones who were my favorites were Bertha and Flint. As for any who gave me a challenge, I would have to go with Lucian. Mainly due to the fact that his Bronzong was tough to defeat.

Sinnoh has my second favorite Elite Four members, with Hoenn being the first. I also like the members designs, with Aaron and Lucian being my personal favorites. They also gave me a challenge, which is what an Elite Four should do. Lucian gave me the most trouble, though it seems I am not alone in that lol.
