I am a Rocker/Jock (?)

I enjoy playing guitar and listening to all kinds of music on my ipod touch and I enjoy playing football, basketball, baseball and a little bit of lacrosse.
 
I hang out with a bunch of different cliques at my school. So, I would say none since people don't really go around calling me a goth, a nerd, or a prep. I mean, my school is one of those schools that most of the people in it aren't labelled as a specific group and mainly everyone gets somewhat along with eachother (unless it's regarding a sophomore who think they are better than everyone). So, I'm going to have to say other with the reasons stated above.
 
A quick glance at my theme should be able to give you my answer...
 
Labels don't work. I'm a nerdy jock rocker...I play for the school basketball team, I'm in the highest class in Yr9 and I play bass guitar and listen to a alot of rock and metal.

You can't label someone with one name. That's stereotyping. And calling people emos and goths might hurt their feelings.

He asked what people label us as...Not exactly who we are...

Well, I'm too stereotypical Emo to use myself as an example but...

The question is more of what stereotype would we fall under? Like...You play on the basketball team, so you would be labeled as a jock or something...Or a rocker because of your music choice thing...yeah...
You get the point.
Or at least I hope you do.
 
Whoa, high school labels. I'm a year early.
The only name i'm labelled as is "nerd" or "moron" which is pretty oxymoronic since "nerds" are smart.
Mainly because i have a huge addiction to games and technology, but i do pretty stupid stuff also.
but if anything, i'd label my self as a gamer also, or maybe a normal.
just one of those plain, hardcore gamers you see across the street.
 
I like what I like & I don't care what others think. That's a big label. XD
 
Oh, wonderful. I just looked the 'prep' thing up in Wikipedia (since we don't use that term here and I was wondering what it meant) and I appear to be one. :/

I think labels are for failures who need something to explain away their existence.

Thanks for informing us all about that. You know you're posting on a pokemon forum...right?

Anyways, I prefer not to label myself. I don't act or dress a certain way just to fall into a label. I do my own thing, say whatever the hell I want, and dress however I'm feeling that day.

Also: Anyone who openly claims to fall into any label is a poser. You don't give yourself that label, other people do. =/
 
I have been called Goth as of the clothes i wear.

I have been called Emo as my Emotional probs and self-drama.

I have been called a Rocker as the Music i listen to.

I am also labled a computer nerd as i am the smartest kid in my school in the technical computer area.

I lean more toward the rocker but i listen to Heavy Metal Music if that counts as a rocker. I also have a moto "rokr" fone if that counts lol.
 
I am nothing and everything. I can be emotional, but does that make me emo? I listen to rock music, but does that make me a rocker? I can wear a polo shirt and nice pants, but does that make me a prep? I can even wear lots of black, but am I goth? Labels suck.
 
I work out, I rock out, I game, I LARP, I'm a techie, I'm a director-in-training, I write, and I am probably bother the gayest and the straightest man you'll ever meet.

People at school 'label' me as weird and funny? Does that count?
