    Since there's a demand for it, we'll be heading into Team Fortress 2 with the recent release of the Engineer Update. We'll be doing map rotations of different game types on a (hopefully) stable server, along with enjoying some quality time killing everyone's favorite sentry builders!

    The PC event will take place on July 16th, 2010 at 7PM PST.

    Leave posts in this thread relevant to the gaming event (for confirming you're coming and/or any questions related to the game or event. Posts deemed irrelevant will be deleted)

    Stop hiding behind your little toys and fight like a man!

    All the information you'll need about the upcoming Team Fortress 2 gaming event.

    With the recent release of the Engineer update in Team Fortress 2, everyone's hopping back into the constantly raging battle of RED vs. BLU to test out the new Engineer weapons and we here at PC will be jumping on in too!

    We'll be going through map rotations and different game types or possibly sticking with a certain, most popular game type, dependent on what you members want to have. We hope to see you there and ready to dominate as RED or BLU!

    Anyone is welcome to join, naturally, but join this Steam group. There's an event scheduler on there and it's an easier way to contact anyone who is playing, along with an easy way to announce when the event has begun.

    Ok, I'm down. Anyone have a server we'd be able to use? I think it'd work out a lot better if we had a server run by someone taking part in the event or something like that or at least would be able to snag one for us to use (passworded of course :p).

    Also, I'm going to set you all on fire. :D
     
    I know a few people with servers that I will be asking, but if not, we'll just have to find an empty one, haha. But I'm sure we'll be able to find one, whether by a PC member or another way.
     
    I'm up for it. Can't wait to crush leetle baby skulls beneath manly foot.

    Just a reminder, the event's happening in 2 hours! We'll be starting off around 7:00PM in a Steam Chat, then once the server is ready for PC's use, we can hop right in.
     
    I seem to recall some discussion about how twocows wouldn't be dominating everyone.

    That was amazing fun. I'm glad I left my Magic tournament early to play TF2 tonight.
     
    Yeah, as the others said, it was definitely one of our FUNNEST events ever. Thanks to everyone who came out and played, it was a real treat and I'm glad to see it was such a success.

    Amachi, Spectrum, twocows, digi-kun, Hiroshi Sotomura, Zanacross, Theodore Bruno, J, Freestyle Farfetch'd, Munch Dog, Jeremy and myself spent most our time on map rotations, from 2fort to Thunder Mountain (or whatever it's called), we were gibbing everywhere and abusing the new Engineer updates like crazy.

    Well, like I said, the guy that was supposed to be opening a server for us disappeared, but at least we had a few other options and managed to keep it going without it ruining the fun. :)

    Next time, I may just make my own server, if I can figure out how.
     
    I was there for like the whole time as well. We really need to do it again sometime, I haven't had so much TF2 fun in months. Or hey, maybe a L4D or L4D2 event next time, or ZPS or something.
