Okay so this team worked alright in DP, so I wanted to check with you guys how it would go in Platinum

    The Team:
    [PokeCommunity.com] Epic Bidoof

    Evs: 252 SpA/252 Spe/4 Hp

    - Hypnosis
    - HP [Ice]
    - Shadow Ball
    - Focus Blast
    ---
Good as a lead. Screws teams with no status absorber. HP [Ice] for killing mence. Questioning it's use as a lead but it does alright.
    [PokeCommunity.com] Epic Bidoof

    Dr. Tran(Heatran) @ Choice Scarf
    Ability: Flash Fire
    EVs: 56 HP/200 Spe/252 SpA
    Timid nature (+Spe, -Atk)

    Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)

    - Surf
    - HP [Electric]

This guy is so cool. So Standard. It's no Blissey, but if Zappy goes down this is all I've got.

Steroids are Yum (Machamp) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Guts
    EVs: 108 HP/252 Atk/150 Def
    Adamant nature (+Atk, -SpA)

    - Cross Chop
    - Stone Edge
    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk
    ---

Tyranitar counter. The most reliable physical attacking on the team. Abuses Guts so badly.

    [PokeCommunity.com] Epic Bidoof

    KABOOM! (Forretress) @ Shed Shell
    Ability: Sturdy
    EVs: 252 HP/96 Atk/162 Def
    Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spe)

    - Gyro Ball

This guy takes an insane amount of physical punishment. Spins, sets up spikes. Awesome! =)

    Rate away.

This team isn't so different from the one you posted before.
I know it's so overused, but use a Blissey or some other special sponge over Zappy. You already have status on Heatran

I'm thinking about Bliss but don't want to resort to boring standards. =(

    C'mon guys, more rates.

This might be another wasted RMT.:(

I'll put some sprites in to make it more interesting.

I'll put some sprites in to make it more interesting.
    Please do.

The Tran Man (Heatran) @ Choice Scarf
    Ability: Flash Fire
    EVs: 20 HP/236 Spe/252 SpA
    Timid nature (+Spe, -Atk)

    - Fire Blast
    - Earth Power
    - Hidden Power [Ice]
    - Will-o-wisp

I'm not really sure what you are aiming to outspeed with this EV spread, as far as I know, nothing sits at 408 Spd.

220 EVs if you wish to outspeed Scarf Adamant Heracross, or:

200 Evs outspeeds all Base 130's

Aquatic Dog… Thing (Vaporeon) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Water Absorb
    EVs: 188 HP/252 Def/ 68 SpA
    Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)

    - Surf
    - HP [Electric]
    - Wish
    - Roar
    ---

This guy is so cool. So Standard.
Unfortunately the standard EVs are bad.

252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 Spd, gives it the best insurance against DD LO Gyarados, the 4 Spd EVs allows it to outspeed other Vaporeon and Swampert.

If for whatever reason you want Vaporeon to take some special attacks, you could sacrifice some physical defense for it. 124 HP/ 252 Def/ 132 S.Def can do that.

Steroids are Yum (Machamp) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Guts
    EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/4 Spe
    Adamant nature (+Atk, -SpA)

    - Cross Chop
    - Stone Edge

    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk
    ---

Tyranitar counter. The most reliable physical attacking on the team. Abuses Guts so badly.

It's nice to finally see someone using Guts on ResTalk Machamp. I would personally go with Payback > Stone Edge, it has proven far more useful to me, it also hits the ever obvious Gengar and most importantly Rotom switch ins hoping to take the telegraphed Dynamic Punch that will never come.

    KABOOM! (Forretress) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Sturdy
    EVs: 252 HP/96 Atk/162 Def
    Impish nature (+Def, -SpA)

    - Explosion
    - Spikes
    - Earthquake
    - Rapid Spin
    ---

This guy takes an insane amount of physical punishment. Spins, sets up spikes. Explodes!!!!!!!! So standard.

    Rate away.
Forretress has no need to explode when it's getting recovery in the form of Wish support from Vaporeon.

I never understood exploding your walls, it defeats their purpose, why else would you make it so bulky and use Leftovers? Use Gyro Ball instead to better counter threats.

Also Shed Shell, you don't want to lose it to Magnezone.

I'm thinking about Bliss but don't want to resort to boring standards. =(

To be fair, Heatran and Zapdos see more usage than Blissey in Platinum >_>

I would seriously invest more in Defense for Machamp, or it's going to get crushed my most attackers (including some Tyranitar).

What, it worked before? Eh, just use 'img' tags like this:
    *image removed*
    And you'll get: *image removed*

So the S&M Trolls Mods don't hurt me, I'll have to point out that Machamp is much better running DynamicPunch and No Guard. For a boost only when sleeping, you lose perfect accuracy and get 80% on each. Beside that, DynamicPunches ability to confuse the opponent is just insane.

The insert image link is giving me the s%#@*!!
I'm keeping Machamp guts so it can really dent the opposition's pokemon
I don't find the accuracy chance to problematic
If it misses to much, however I may have to resort to standards

EDIT: I went to my mom's work and the Insert Image link works!!!!!!
There must be something screwed up on my computer

Re-nickname your Heatran "Dr. Tran", please. :p:p:p

Go No Guard > Guts on Machamp, and Dynamicpunch > Cross Chop. Also consider Payback > Stone Edge.

    Otherwise, it's a good team.

Honestly, I don't really care about the defense drop anymore, so I'm going with Close Combat. With the new moves there is no need for No Guard so I'm keeping it Guts. It's probably stupid to do so but meh, the extra power might make him even MORE powerful. =P
Honestly guys, don't you see the massive sweeping potential this guy when he has Guts?
Also note, I will ignore anymore suggestions to make Machamp No Guard!

I'd be concerned about your Zapdos coverage. Thunderbolt + Heat Wave does a number on your team, and since these two moves are most commonly seen on Zapdos, this would cause problems for your team as only Zapdos and Heatran can switch in and beat it.

Your physical Infernape coverage is also lacking, it sweeps your team bar Aerodactyl and Heatran both which cannot switch in directly. Also you have a massive Salamence weak, any variants of Mence wreck you as you don't have an Ice move except on Heatran.

I'd say you rely a lot on Heatran for revenge-killing, and I feel that this team should be more offensive to keep up with the offense-based metagame of Platinum.

First I would replace Aerodactyl with an alternative pokemon, Aero isn't doing much aside from setting up SR and it essentially is a wasted team slot since you have taken a more bulky approach. I would put LO Gengar over Aerodactyl, it helps with Heracross and Lucario lacking Extremespeed, and also can switch in to 3/4 of Mixape's arsenal, outspeed and KO.

    Gengar @ Life Orb
    Timid, 252 Spe / 252 SpA / 6 HP

    Hypnosis
    Shadow Ball
    Focus Blast
    Thunderbolt

Despite its sort of shaky accuracy Hypnosis really screws up teams not carrying sleep absorbers. 60 Acc isn't that bad to be honest, and Gengar doesn't have many alternatives aside from Explosion. If you're running Explosion you'd probably want to run Naive and the required attack EVs to KO Bold Max Def Blissey, or you could run 16 Attack and Timid to KO Calm Blissey with SR down.

For Zapdos I would go Heat Wave over Substitute or Light Screen, your choice. Without Heat Wave Zapdos can't touch Roost Scizor, and can't do damage at all to Grounds, so it should be added. SubRoost isn't really effective on this team as it isn't a stall team, and it doesn't have entry hazards as I feel you should remove Forry.

Over Forry I would go Mamoswine, Ice Shard is pretty much needed to KO Salamence which poses a big threat to your team. Mamo can setup SR as well on a switch as revenge-kill Salamence and provide a priority move incase stuff go out of hand or you get surprised with a Sash. Alternatively you could go MixSwine, which beats Skarmory and Weezing by utilising Blizzard, but since both of them aren't very common I would prefer a normal attacking set.

    Mamoswine @ Life Orb
    Adamant, 252 Attack / 196 Speed / 60 HP

    Ice Shard
    Earthquake
    Stone Edge
    Stealth Rock

Machamp should go Stone Edge > Payback, as it hits more pokemon that would probably switch into it, such as Salamence and Gyarados. I also have to emphasise despite your apparent bias towards CC > Dynamicpunch, the Confusion is much more useful than slamming away with a souped up Close Combat, because with only two attacking moves Machamp's options are rather limited crippling it offensively, and its as slow as molasses (maybe slower?) so it is prone to being revenged by other pokemon.

I cannot emphasise how much of a lifesaver Confusion is, a 50% chance for the opponent to waste a turn is very useful if, say you face a threat you have no answer to.

Finally you could replace Heatran with another Scarfer if you wanted but bear in mind that Scarfer in question must be able to take Azelf, Scizor and +1 Spe Salamence. I say this as Gengar has about the same resists as Heatran making it a better switchin to stuff like Celebi.

Finally you might want to consider putting Toxic on Zapdos, TB / Heat Wave / Toxic / Roost, to beat Bulky Waters and whatnot that would switch into it and set up.

    Thanks for the rate, Aquilae
Okay, Iv'e had my fun with this team
