Erm Arcanine or Ninetales

    Erm i think fire pokemon these 2 are the better ones... plz give me sum comments which one is more suitable for competitive battling...
     
    erm sorry... still got one more question... zangooose, slacking and snorlax which would be better as a erm physical sweep? or others also cna...

    Slakoth is bad and so is snorlax they both heavly rely on sleeping
     
    i am so sorry... erm y do u choose ninetales over arcanine.. i mean arcane have better overall stats....
     
    Mudkip, that was a very useless post.

    I prefer Arcanine even though its movepool is terrible. It can use Howl to raise its attack, and it has a good attack stat to sweep with. Flamethrower/Fire Blast can take care of common tanks such as Skarmory.

    Wtf? No one cares if Slakoth is bad since it is a pre-evolution. Slaking has incredible power, and you don't have to let Truant take place if you switch out after every attack (give it a choice band and just don't give it Hyper Beam). Snorlax is also good because it can set up with Curse, which raises its poor defense. With very high HP, special defense, and boosted defense, Snorlax can tank and sweep. Zangoose, meh. Quick Attack and Swords Dance are nice, but it doesn't pose nearly as much of a threat as the other two normal pokes that were mentioned. Take care.

    snorlax is the best there.
    and ninetales has a much better movepool and doesn't rely on HP as much as arcanine.
    It depends what do u want
    arcanine - power
    ninetales - annoyance.
    personally i like ninetales more..its up to u.

    Just choose like that.
     
    erm i use arcanine becase extreme speed is a greaet move.. may i know what evs to max out for both ninetales and arcane?

    This is the one I use. You could give it 0 speed Evs if you want. Mine just has enough to fight off certain Pokemon. I don't know any Evs for Nintails, ask Ice Demon or another active member.

    Arcanine (M) @ Lum Berry
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 252 Atk / 158 Spd / 100 SAtk
    Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
    - Extremespeed
    - Heat Wave
    - Hidden Power [Fighting]
    - Howl
     
    Erm, Ninetales of course. XD *sigh* they're so beautiful... an' besides an annoyer like Nine pwns over a mixed sweeper like Arcanine... plus Flash Fire offers a lot of potential... in more ways than one. XD
     
    This Ninetales Moveset usually works well...

    Ninetales@Leftovers
    Nature: Impish


    -Toxic
    -Dig
    -Confuse Ray
    -Flamethrower/Fire Spin

    Dont send out aginst EQers
     
    hmmm ninetales seems kinda expected -.- its can only use fire attks and when its out ppl often send sumthing resistant against it and it cant really do anything? or can it?
     
    NO, annoyers do not exist, got it?

    Ninetales is crap, because all it can do is pyrotrap, which fails as he gets rested/OHKO'd easily. Jesus christ.
     
    I vote arcanine... Better stats... extremespeed.... Movepool, well i dunno about the movepool quite yet but yeah, arcanine usually gives me a lot more trouble than ninetalez does.
     
    Arcanine, mainly because it is one of the three pokemon who can learn Extremespeed. Plus, ES and its high sp. att., plus good def., really gives it the advantage over Ninetails.
     
    I like the Ninetails Exploder thing I read about somewhere that I use:
    Ninetails@White Herb
    Sunny Day
    Confuse Ray
    Overheat
    Hp Grass/Flamethrower/Big Smiley Face

    I have no experience w/ RK9 only because I haven't trained one since I Flame Wheel/Bite/Extremespeed/Embered it on Silver... =/
