God I hope the Department Store comes back since I kinda like that building tbh. Full of useful stuff and TMs, I'm hoping the secret base items still come back and maybe add another floor full of clothes :)

Yeah, it gave a sense of in-game limited offers, somewhat like the Surskit swarms. If anything, they should also do this for the possible boutique shop they may introduce. It would be nice to bag limited edition discounts.

Lilycove's main attraction is definitely the Department Store, so I don't see them taking it out of ORAS, haha. It contained various useful items and I honestly felt like the games without a large store were missing something, haha. As others have mentioned, Lilycove doesn't have much in it other than the store, so it would become a city of minimal importance.

Fifth gen. combined Pokemon Centers and Pokemarts and still had a Department Store, plus it was one of the biggest places to visit in Lilycove aside from the contest hall, so I don't see why it wouldn't come back. It's also one of the few places where you can get Secret Base merch., and as others have mentioned it could sell clothing as well.

Probably because the Department Store was located at Route 9 in Unova, since placing a Department Store in a city that has a Pokemon Center and a Pokemon Mart seems silly, possibly why there wasnt a department store in Kalos. Of course I want to see the Department Store again, I mean it was one of the locations wherein you have the last battle with Brendan/May, right? But it would be interesting that there would be two PokeMarts inside the city unless they would make a separate design for Lilycove PokeCenter or separate the two buildings altogether like in RSE. That does intrigue me a lot.

Kalos didn't really have a department store because Lumiose City is essentially one. You have the pokeball shop, lotto id, berry juice, a high end boutique, stone emporium and the pokemon centers sold TMs.

Hoenn doesn't have a city with a scale as large as Lumiose. Hence, I still think the department store will make a comeback in Lilycove. Remember, the poke mart sells essential stuff but the department store also sell a lot of extras. They could forgo healing item purchases there and instead sell the regular TMs, pokeballs, furniture, clothes, boost items, X items etc.

As for Unova, the department store in the route seems really out of place honestly. I think it was put there at the very last minute... Or perhaps because there's not much exclusive stuff it sells, hence in that location. Hoenn, or even the 6th generation, has a lot more stuff which can possibly be exclusive to the department store.

yea, i kinda doubt they would take it out.
if they do i'll be shockingly surprised. really, there is no logical sense for them to remove it.

plus like others have said, it has potential for a clothing boutique and mega stone branch, it really has no reason to be removed.

It's a major landmark of Lillycove City. It would be very strange if they took it out. Especially considering that the other major landmark, the contest hall, hasn't been confirmed to return yet (we've gone without contests for how many gens now? 2?). Without at least one of those, Lillycove would probably look and feel pretty empty. Unless of course Game Freak is planning to replace them with something else.

Yeah; the landmark that is Lilycove Department Store should definitely return; otherwise it's like removing Professor Oak's lab from Pallet Town.. XD Aside from making a Pokemon forget moves, the department store and the Master Rank Hall are 2 (very nice) incentives to visit Lilycove, so I see no reason to downgrade the place.. Oh, and you can't remove an extra chance to win PP Ups and a Master Ball! (via the Loto Ticket service on the first floor)

The rooftop should look more amazing, though.. Also, you should be able to fly from there! It irritated me to no end that you get to the roof and it's a bit bare (even when the sales occur there).. The Lilycove Department Store rooftop greatly reminds me of one episode from Clifford the Big Red Dog (2000 PBS TV series: Season 1, Episode 3 - "Home Is Where the Fun Is") where Jetta and her mom go to visit the "famed" Titanic Tower...they have to use stairs (an extremely long flight of them) to reach the roof, and when they do get there, the rooftop view (which Jetta eagerly anticipated) is so disappointing because the windows are covered and it looks all foggy and stuff. XD I mean, come on.. So yeah...let's spice it up a bit, please!

More Secret Base decor and Boutiques, as others have said, would be much appreciated! I typically visited for the powerful Technical Machines (TMs) like Fire Blast, Blizzard, and Thunder, but I guess I won't be doing as much business with them due to the infinite nature of Generation 6 TMs...

What would you think will ultimately return in the Department Store? I'm seeing numerous items, maybe even have a shop that sells Megastones for the starters perhaps like in XY? I mean it is possible since it is the final place where you actually battle with May/Brendan haha
