Eternal Nightmare - [PG-16]

"You fool! Keep on levitating!" Dusknoir screamed. "Yes... Master..." Sparky said.

Apparently the attack didn't really hurt the Dusknoir, which annoyed Lucifer. Bone rush was Rock type and he wasn't immune to THAT. No matter. Lucifer frowned when the Dusknoir screamed at the black Shinx, and the Shinx seemed to reply slowly. The hypnotism was wearing off. Not for long.

"You! Come here!" Dusknoir screamed. Sparky slowly walked to Dusknoir. But very slowly. "Look at me!" Sparky looked at Dusknoir, who rehypnotized him.

oh great, the Shinx was at it again, this time, with much more power. He floated into the air, a rare ability for a Shinx, and rammed Lucifer at high speed, causing Lucifer to fly against a wall, slamming against it painfully.

Xandra decided to help and growled, lifting the Shinx into the air with Psychic, then her red eye glowed, and threw the Shinx away with her Psychic powers, "Get lost!"
 
Sparky was thrown away with a powerful Psychic but he slowed down really fast, even before smashing into something. He wasn't even hurt. He landed for a bit, looking around. He saw Xandra, the one who threw him away with Psychic. He started levitating again and then flew straight to Xandra, with an open mouth and with a speed of more than 50km/h. He hit her while biting, causing massive damage. Xandra was thrown against a wall while Sparky just landed. He just wasn't hurt.

Dusknoir started calling enforcements. He had a plan. "Haunter! Leave this place. I'll handle them!" Haunter followed his orders and left. An Electrode quickly rolled next to Dusknoir.

Sparky saw Lucifer. He'd had to hit him once again. He wouldn't stand there much longer. But he was feeling weaker. What was happening? He started running to Lucifer anyway, but not too fast.

"Use your move to blow up things!" Dusknoir said to the Electrode. Electrode followed his orders and then used Explosion.

The entrance to the castle started crumbling. Rocks fell down from the top of the building and walls started to collapse. The path was blocked by a huge amount of rocks. Dusknoir was standing on the other side of the rocks. "Let's see how they get here now!" he said. He looked around. "Slave! Come here!" No one answered though. "Where's the black Shinx?" he said. He started searching. "Oh... No..."

Sparky got hit by a huge falling rock and was hurt very badly. He fainted when he was hit and he was just lying there, slowly regaining energy. He couldn't see anything, he couldn't hear anything, even though he could feel something. Toes of a Lucario.
 
Lucifer wanted to tell Xandra how stupid she was to attack the Shinx, as the Shinx would come for her. But before he got the chance, the Shinx was at it already. Travelling at higher speeds, he charged towards Xandra and rammed her, biting her with his small fangs. Xandra whimpered in pain, and fall onto the ground weakly, her shoulder bleeding. Couldn't blame her, a bite with that speed, could be fatal for any pokemon.

"Xandra!' Lucifer rushed towards his old playmate and shook her gentyl, then placing his hands on her wounds, trying to stop her bleeding by using his Aura. It worked a little, and the bleeding slowed down.

"Use your move to blow up things!" the Dusknoir said to an Electrode, and he exploded instantly, blasting Lucifer and the others away from them. Then the entrance started to crumble, and their path was blocked by a large boulder. Lucifer looked around, the others were okay, since the explosion blasted them away from the boulder that was going to fall on them. The dusknoir was nowhere to be seen, but- suddenly another boulder fell and Lucifer didn't have time to dodge it. It slammed onto his feet, and Lucifer screamed in agony as he heard his bones crack under the rock. He couldn't move, his feet was trapped, but he could feel a Shinx's feet at the other side. He was there.

Cain was with the rest and witness the shinx biting the other Pokemon Xandra in their group. He didn't do anything to help, as he though it would be pointless. Suddenly, an Electrode exploded, sending Cain a distance away as a boulder crumbled towards the path entrance. Cain growled with anger and a bit of pain as he felt his shoulder sting as he got up. He was relatively OK. Another boulder fell on top of the Lucario in the group, Lucifer. Cain heard bones crack, and the Lucario screamed in agony. Cain watched as the others still were recovering from the explosion, so none immediately went to help. Cain sighed and snarled, mostly to himself, and bite Lucifer with his teeth and attempted to pull him out of the rock.

"Quite your squirming, I'm trying to help you here!"

Cain shouted as he tried to pull Lucifer out. Lucifer was thankful as his feet was no longer under the large rock, but he was rather annoyed.

"SQUIRMING?!" Lucifer growled, brushing the dust off his body, "That was NOT squirming."

Now that his feet were free, Lucifer kicked the rock away, revealing the unconscious black Shinx. It was hypnotised so it couldn't really be that bad. Lucifer approached the Shinx and checked his pulse. He was still breathing weakly.


Kneeling before the Shinx, Lucifer placed his paw on his chest and shocked the Shinx weakly with force palm, trying to knock him out of the unconsciousness.


"Where are the others? Where's Saphyre, Silver and his mate?" Lucifer turned, asking Cain and Xandra. Xandra shrugged. Where the heck did they go. Lucifer's bone was cracked all right, but he could still stand and walk slowly.

From nowhere behind Volk, an Electrode released a mega explosion of fire and light and the walls started crumbling down on everyone. Dusknoir and his moronic minions somehow vanished like an apparition and Lucifer's legs were pinned under a fallen boulder. Bones cracking could be heard and Volk tried to dodge bombarding fragments of stone.

One half of a wall rocked down on him and the Joltik fired a beam of energy at it. The ruins was reduced to powdered smithereens and Volk stumbled forward blindly, his eyes blurred by the fog of dust around him. The Joltik tripped over a pebble and fell down as a slab of stone slammed into his side, tossing him to the left. He winced in pain as another explosion came up from ahead of him and he was sent hurling down the corridors. Portraits along the walls tumbled and crashed on him and Volk cried in utter pain. He thought he saw a Ghastly spying from around the corner with a evil grin but it disappeared among the rubble of soot and rock. Volk was then cornered by a huge boulder and when he tried to detour another way, a Voltorb buzzed up to him. He evaded it as the ball Pokemon seemed to not have noticed him. The Voltorb rounded the corner and launched a spark of lightning at the entrance- where the others were.

"HELP!!!" Volk screamed in despair and everything began to cave in around him. A medium-sized rock landed on his abdomen and as the Joltik stumbled to stand properly, a black energy sphere bombed him from the right and knocked him out. Before the shady figure left the spider to be buried among the tomb of rocks and debris, it let out a horrifying cackle to frighten the castle's intruders. As mysteriously as it came, reality warped for a second and the purple-cloaked Pokemon puffed into non-existence in an eerie cloud.

Julie sighed.When Silver got done singing she desided it was time to do something.

"Silver I know your not up to it but I know somewhere inside you you still love Lucifer and I know somewhere iinside Lucifer he still loves you and we need to help them."Julie said.

She bit her lip.She wished she hadn't have said anything now,cause she didn't want Silver mad at her.She sighed and closed her eyes,her head downwards,despite the fact of where Silver was.
 
Silver sniffled, as his ex-brother's name was used,'his eyes were forming tears. He hugged Julie and frowned, fighting the urge to cry again.

"You're right, I do still love him... But I doubt he feels the same, or he wouldn't have seperated from me..."

Silver was crying now, and hugging Julie. "But he hates me now, and there's no changing that..."
 
Julie sighed.She couldn't think of anything to say,so she desided to sing another song.She sang Darlin by Avril Lavigne.When she got done,she found the words to say.

"I know it means having to be around Lucifer,but for the sake of this city and all of the pokemon in it,can't you help them?"Julie asked.

She knew one wrong word and Silver could snap.She was doing hard to think out what she was saying before she said it.She didn't want to anger Silver or make him more sad.She knew well he wouldn't hurt her,but she didn't want to do anything to upset him.
 
"HELP!!!"

Lucifer's ears twitched, as he could recognize that scream. It was from that Joltik, Volk and he sounded like he was in deep trouble. Ignoring his wounded leg he followed the scream and walked through countless corridors, leaving the others behind as he walked deeper into the castle, where everything was darker than ever. The explosion damage the corridors, and the portraits were all scatter onto the floor.

Lucifer thought that he was too kind to save the little mite-like Pokemon, but he carried on. If he had to stop Darkrai, or whoever he was, he'll need more help.

"Volk?" Lucifer turned into another corridor, and could feel that the Joltik's Aura was stronger here. Then he could see a little yellow furry spider trapped under a rock and shivered. A feet under it was painful enough, but an abdomen...

Lucifer hurried towards Volk and pushed the boulder away. Lucifer whimpered as his leg started to hurt again but he knelt down before the little pokemon, shaking him, calling his name.

"The journey has just started...and we have a lot of casualties already..." Lucifer murmured and slapped Volk on the cheek slightly, trying to wake him up.
 
Silver looked a little hurt for a moment, and wiped his tears, and hugged Julie.

"I'll go... As long as you're there with me..." He nuzzled his head under hers and sighed.

Julie saw how Siler looked hurt.

"I'm so stupid!I shouldn't be asking him to help when he's like this!Oh crud....Silver you better not be reading my thoughts...."Julie thought.

She hugged Silver tightly.

"Of corse I'll be with you.How mean would I be to ask someone to go help save the city without helping them?"Julie asked,trying to help Silver cheer up.
 
Silver kissed her cheek affectionately and took the form of a Gallade, held her close and took a full sprint to the castle, getting there in seconds. He put her down and looked at everyone, assessing the situation.
 
Julie's jaw dropped as they were at the castle in seconds.Her mouth stayed open as she saw the situation.She bit her lip.

"I should have tried to get Silver here sooner...we might have been able to help sooner..."She thought.

Saphyre was walking towards the castle when she heard Lucifer. She wanted to answer back with, What does it look like I'm doing? However, she knew that that answer would only make him angry. And it wasn't good when he was angry. Saphyre got to the castle at the same time as Silver and Julie. She glanced over at them, noticing Silver was now a Gallade. Saphyre looked at the scene, there were a couple lifeless Pokemon laying on the ground. However, none looked like anybody from their team.

Saphyre decided to go into the castle, it seemed like everybody else was already inside. And they might have needed help. Saphyre wanted to help, she didn't want any deaths in their group. She ran into the castle. The castle hallways were highly lit. And Saphyre ran through the hallways until she gasped. Saphyre ran over to Lucifer and Volk. "Volk! A-Are you ok?" She asked. Saphyre knew that was a dumb question, but she couldn't think of anything else.
 
Sparky looked around. It was gray. Spikes were on all sides of the wall. And they slowly came closer and closer. He touched one of the spikes with his paw which started bleeding. Sparky became scared. "Why?" he thought. Everything started fading. He couldn't see anything in the black place. He moved around nonetheless. The spikes seemed to be gone. Suddenly, the black place became whiter and whiter. And suddenly, everything got pitch-black again. His eyes were closed. Could that be the problem?

Sparky slowly opened his eyes and looked around. "What a weird place", he thought. He couldn't see anyone. Suddenly, he heard a high-pitched cry. He became scared but walked to the spot it came from nonetheless. He saw a Lucario sitting down. He could remember him from somewhere... But from where? A yellow little spider was laying on the ground. And another figure was standing on the other side of the little spider. He couldn't see clearly who or what it was. He ignored both the Lucario and the figure and walked towards the little spider. It was a Joltik. "What if..." Sparky said slowly. He touched the Joltik with his tail and gave it an electric shock. Not working. "Try again..." he said. He released a powerful Thunder, blinding him, the Lucario and the figure. Nonetheless, the electric shock seemed to work...
 
Lucifer looked as the black Shinx tried to bring him back with his electricity. It was reasonable, since they were both electric types. Lucifer held his breath, waiting to see if it worked. Nothing.

"Try again..." the black Shinx shocked the Joltik with a stronger burst of electricity, but failed to do anything else except from blinding Lucifer for a second or two. At first Volk's heart started beating again, but then stopped. It wasn't enough.

"Let me try." Lucifer closed his eyes, his right paw glowing red and placed it on top of his chest, giving the Joltik some of his aura.

"I'll help." Xandra emerged from the shadow, unharmed by the boulders. It was a miracle that she wasn't hurt after all this. Her red eye under her hair bang glowed, and with Lucifer's Aura trick, Volk started to glow. Lucifer could feel his little spider heartbeat again, but he wasn't so sure if this could last.

It wasn't enough, Volk's beating started to slow down, so Lucifer frowned and looked at the Shinx, his paw and energy still working. With his other paw, he grabbed the Shinx's tail, and that one grab made him discharge an amount of electricity into Lucifer, then into Volk.

Lucifer stood up and nodded as Volk started to breathe again. He could save this one, but he won't be able to revive everybody...he had use 50% of his energy already.

Lucifer the Lucario. a voice echoed in his head, a voice he had never heard before, You have potential. Work for me, and I will remove the curse from you. You will have sweet dreams again.

Who was this? Darkrai? What was he up to? He didn't know if he could trust this guy, but he looked at the others. The others seemed to receive this strange message too.

Cain was sluggish to help at the hearing of the loud scream. But Lucifer charged. He looked around the castle a bit, trying to get a budge on his surroundings. When he was satisfied that he recognized the surrounding area, he pounced after the direction Lucifer went to.

Cain came in just as Lucifer was helping the downed Joltik. He snarled as he felt a message enter his head.

Cain the Houndoom. Cain looked around, first thinking the voice came from around the room. You have potential. Work for me, and I will remove the curse from you. You will have sweet dreams again.

He noticed everyone else get the same message. He looked at them, intently.

"Did you all get it too, then? What do you suppose we make of this? He trying to play us? Is he after us just to recruit us into his little pack?" Cain started to impatiently paced back and forth. He expected some answers, and even though he almost certainly knew none of the others probably knew what Darkrai was after, he still stared them down as he paced back and forth. "Well?"
 
Silver returned to true Mew form and sighed, glancing at the group. Who was left? His mate Julie. Kaira, but it seems like she's following Lucifer around. Sapphyre, maybe. Volk might still be an ally. Silver sighed. Why could Lucifer be so cruel? He felt excluded now, in the group, but seperated. He hugged Julie, and cast Wish, healing Lucifer back to full aura, but showing no signs of care, no hint that it was him doing it. Ever since he changed into Mew, he was able to block his thoughts from being read.

Then, he felt the boulder on him lifted off but the pain numbed him to a dark state. He felt something fluttering around him and it stopped just as fur touched him and his body is lighted up in a blast of electricity. Volk felt the coldness before sinking into unconsciousness again and an intense jolt ran his veins alive. He twitched amongst the darkness, sobbing in fright. Everything around him was pitch-black, he was alone and lost. Then a searing touch came over his eyes as he started to be able to feel his body and eyes. He tried to open them but they stubbornly shut. Fatigue overcame his body as he slouched back into the hypnotic slumber...that Shadow Ball did something else to him other than hurt....he never saw a Ghost type Pokemon that nasty-looking like a horror witch. He snoozed in a nightmare for about 10 minutes before he felt a breeze icily cloak his body. Volk opened his eyelids and stared at a deeply familiar Lucario and a Kirlia next to him. A blinding red burst of energy surrounded him and as hard as he tried, the Joltik's eyes closed as the imagery of the purple-cloaked Pokemon appeared in his mind.

You have potential...... The voice rang again like a midnight bell. Work for me, work for me, work for me.... Why? Volk thought in panic. and I will remove the curse from you. The Joltik sighed as he gave his life up to the deep icy darkness. As soon as his soul started to squirm out of his physical plane, Volk was revived by a strong Discharge. His eyes fluttered open but it seemed that Volk couldn't control his body. He tried to shift but nothing moved, his mouth felt like charred rubber and his tongue was as numb as frozen honey. Volk muffled a cry as he lost control over his body. He lied on the castle floor, hoping that someone would help him. Then, it snapped into his head. Lucarios can read thoughts! He gazed at the black Lucario and whizzed a mental bubble to him. Who are you? Where am I?

The Joltik felt that this person was oddly familiar and so was the lady kirlia beside it. A scene of evil thoughts flashed through his mind and Volk tried to throw them out. The Mismagius teleported in his imagination and cackled, "Obey my lord and you'll be free. Or else...forever you are in this state! Ahahaaaahhhaaahahahahah!" She warped the surroundings in a shade of black before disappearing.

The Joltik tried one last time of contacting the people around. He bombarded the Lucario's mind several times in an effort to test out his thinking mind. I'm Volk, a Joltik. Where are my friends?? I can't seem to move my body, a strange force is controlling it. You may not be able to see but there's a Mismagius around us..or in me. She appears often and I think she caused this to happen to me.
