Eternal Nightmare - [PG-16]

It wasn't a full on Smoke Screen, just a little bit of smoke to show her agitation. She huffed and turned her head away. "Be mean to me, why don't you. Next time I'll shoot a flamethrower at you." she mumbled.

Great, another one. Lucifer rolled his eyes, he didn't even kick her this time. People happen to bump into him everyday, was it because of his darkish colour or his bad luck?!

"You do that, and you'll regret it," Lucifer snarled and repelled back in a taunting tone. He wanted to insult her due to her colour, but he looked at himself. He wasn't really that normal either, even though if he liked this colour. She had a big mouth too, and the only thing Lucifer did was growl.

The smoke screen didn't even work, since Lucifer could see their Aura. He disliked the smoke screen though so he blew the smoke away. She was taunting him with the smoke screen, and Lucifer could see that she was very, very sarcastic.
 
( Love the Odyssey reference to Cain, Aura. :D )

Cain trotted in circle, annoyed that they had yet to move. There were more and more of them showing up. This was both a good thing and a bad thing. The bad part about it was that this would mean more annoying voices, or weak, pathetic excuses for Pokemon. The good part about it was that Cain had more body bags in case things got too dicey. Cain sniffed around the air and watched the others either converse or prepare. He unintentionally snarled at them, his irritation showing.

Cain was silent, unwilling to start a conversation with any of them. In fact, he didn't really want to talk to any of them, except for the Lucario he battle, who he found strong, at the very least. Cain approached him again, impatient as ever.

"Lucario, when are we going to head out? At this rate, my teeth will whither with age before I will get to bite."
 
Kaira huffed smoke again. "Oh, I'm gonna regret something alright! Not kicking your furry little behind!" she said, hopping up and down.

The Lucario had to be like ten times her size, not that she cared. She may be small, but it wasn't a smart idea to underestimate her. That was the general rule for things smaller than you, but it fit in this situation. She crossed her arms again and sat down, staring, and glaring, at the, much larger, Lucario.

"You, mister, are very rude!" then she had an after thought, "Okay so I'm not being very nice either, but you're bigger! Be the bigger Pokemon, why don't ya?" sarcasm strikes once again.

(OOC: *Pouts* its a bit short, but I'm running a bit low on steam at the moment.)
 
Furry little behind? Man, this Cyndaquil's fun-nee.

Lucifer was starting to feel annoyed, her sarcasm was getting on his nerves, and he didn't even do much for once. Might as well pound her if she's this annoying, Lucifer rolled his eyes and said to himself. But then he glanced at Xandra, knowing that this wasn't the best time to do it, Nevermind.

Lucifer growled when she was sarcastic again and pinched her back, then lifted the little Cyndaquil into the air, then stared at her eye to eye.

"You there, maybe you won't be able to hear me down there, so listen up," Lucifer stated out, "I didn't do anything to you, so lay off the insults while I'm in a good mood. If you want to come with us, then come, but don't bother me with that blasted smoke screen."

Lucifer let go and dropped her onto the floor again. When a happy snort he turned, ignoring her once again. But he turned around and smiled, "By the way, how's the weather down there?"
 
Kaira smirked, hopping up again. "Oh, a height joke eh? The Lucario has a sense of humor!! Well ya know, I could ask you the same question big guy!" she said, pointing more smoke in his direction.

Now she was just doing it to get on his nerves. "You're in a good mood, eh? Well I'd hate to see you in a bad mood! You might decide to sit on me." then she sneezed, scratching at her nose.

Then she pointed her paw at him. "Pick me up like that again! See where it gets ya! I'll tell you where its gonna get ya. My foot in the back of your head." she yelled.

She stuck her nose up, sticking her tongue out at him.
 
That Lucario seems to sense that something is up. Hessen thought to himself, He is constantly glancing at that Castle too, what's that all abo...
The Smokescreen that Cyndaquil used made its way down the alley, right into Hessen's face. His eyes started watering, and he tried to hold his cough back. But it didn't matter;
"By the way, how's the weather down there?" The Dark-Lucario asked.

"*COUGH* Fine... until you *COUGH* blew this crap down here." Hessen retorted. He shielded his eyes as he made his way into the alley. "I overheard you talking *COUGH* about that Castle. What's so special about it?" asked Hessen, still choking on the smoke.
 
"Awwww....so cute!" Lucifer smiled when she stuck her tongue out at him, "I like that little attitude of yours, little guy. And the weather's fine up here, at least I don't have to smell the ground all day."

Lucifer picked her up again, but before she could do anything Lucifer flung her away, trying not to use his full force, and watched as she bounced away.

Lucifer then noticed a wartortle coming out, complaining about the smoke screen, but he didn't intend to apologize since any water types could create a mist to cancel that effect.

"You don't know about the castle?" Lucifer frowned when the Wartortle asked him, "Something tells me that you're new here. Well, can't you see we don't have any electricity here? If you can't, just look at our eyes. We can't sleep! Either that, or we're gonna have terrible nightmares that will wake you up in a second. And THAT," Lucifer pointed at the castle again, "That one pokemon inside, is to blame!"
 
Kaira huffed and ran back up to the Lucario. "Hm, yeah you're right. Being now here is a bit stinky, but for more reasons than one." she said smugly.

She jumped up once. "What did I tell you about picking me up? Hu? I might not be able to reach your big head, but I can reach something else!" she threatened, yelling. "And do you know how rude it is, to throw somebody ten times smaller than you?! Who raised you? A Muk? Good grief, you have NO manners!"

Kaira crossed her arms and saw the Wartortle. She didn't bother commenting to him, so she just left it alone.

(OOC: sorry for it being so short!! I really am running out of thinking steam)
 
Julie stood up and put the backpack on,and walked out the door.She walked back to where she had seen Silver and Lucifer.

"I'm back."She said leaning against the tree.

She looked at the odd colored Cindiquill.

"Hello."Julie said.

Julie stopped leaning against the tree.

"I doubt Mew will show up,any time soon at least."Julie said with crossed arms.

She began pacing around.She was wondering what they'd do when they got to Darkri's castle,and if they'd make it out alive...She wondered who the Cindiquiil was,who the pokemon Lucifer and Silver were talking to was,and what will Darkri do when they're at his castle....So many questions,some may never be awnsered.
 
Silver smiled and laughed as the Cyndaquil mocked and mocked Lucifer, and even after being tossed, still came back to taunt him. He walked up and sat by her laughing.

"I like this new team membeer! Someone with a good sense of humor!!"

He laughed and petted the Cyndaquil politely, still trying to get the laughs out of his system.

"So what's your name little girl?"

He said teasingly, but was nice about it.

"My name's Silver. That is brother Lucifer."

He pointed at Lucifer. Then he leaned in real close and whispered.

"See that Kirlia, that's Xandra. They like each other, but neither of them have made a move. And something tells me as long as she is watching, he won't try to kill you..."

He laughed again.

This is going to be a fuuuuuun trip...

He thought happily. He liked the challenging sarcasm of this Cyndaquil. It was hilarious. Silver noticed Julie come back, and clutched her paw. He filled her in on what happened, especially about the Cyndaquil verbally attacking Lucifer. It made him laugh a bit still. He turned to her, looking serious, both of her paws now in his.

"Julie, what if you hadn't made the first move to me...? I probably wouldnt have even spoke to you, out of shyness..."

He glanced at Lucifer and Xandra, while still holding Julie's paws.

"Those two both like each other, and neither one will make the first move..."

Nightmares? Insomnia? This must be happening to everyone, including me.
"You say the Castle has to do with it. What horrible tyrant would let this happen to his people?" Hessen asked.
 
Julie laughed.

"Who knows what we'd be doing right now if I hadn't.I've gotta admit that wasn't the easiest thing to do."Julie said with a small hint of laughter in her voice,

After a second she hugged Silver tightly.Now that she'd met him she couldn't imagain life without him.Her last nightmare would never really happen.There was no way Silver would ignore her.She pulled herself back out of the hug and smiled at him.

"We're both shy,I just didn't let myself be overwhelmed by it."Aqua said.

She laughed again.Silver was a very shy person elese he knew the person.
 
(You magically turned into Aqua at the end, lol)

Silver sighed happily. If she hadn't moved in on him he probably would still be alone. He would be sad and alone, he'd be--

Lucifer!!!

He seemed to realize it with a jolt. Lucifer was becoming evil because he was alone!!! He dislikes Julie because Silver has a mate and he does not!! And he isn't attacking the Cyndaquil because Xandra is right there!!! If she weren't, he'd have probably slaughtered Cyndaquil for mocking him!!

"Julie!!"

Silver looked at her with sudden intensity, still clutching her paws.

"Lucifer is bad because he's been alone!!"

He spoke so only Julie would hear. He then whispered.

"We should find some way to push Lucifer and Xandra together!!"
 
Kaira looked at the other Lucario curiously for a minute. Then she smiled a little.

"Well. Nice to know someone isn't in a sour mood." she said, glaring at Lucifer. She listened to the Lucario, the nice one, and the other Pokemon speaking to one another. It was hard to believe that the Pokemon she'd been arguing with for the past ten minutes of so was the kind to 'like' other. She shrugged. Weirder things have happened.

"Hey, uh. . Silver was it? If you think you can solve his little attitude problem by finding him a girlfriend, then count me in. I'll help the big, mean, ball of fur, if it means he'll quit picking me up and throwing me." Kaira said.

She crossed her arms, but realized she'd forgotten about something. "Oh, and my names. . um. . Kaira."
 
(God damm*t I'm Aqua on two rps and they're the ones I'm posting the most on and I'm calling all my charecters Aqua by accedent but usually I catch it!)

Julie listened to what Silver said and began to scratch the back of her neck with her right hand.

"I don't know Silver I'm not very good at that stuff."She replied quiet enough so only Lucifer could here her.

It was true,she never was good with romance.Its not tsomething she was proud of,but it wasn't something she beat herself up over either.She wondered what they could do anyways,Lucifer was smart,he'd be a hard person to get to do anything related to romance with.She looked at Lucifer,then Silver.Was Silver really serious?Did he really want to do this?Julie would happily do this if she knew Lucifer would be happier and nicer,but she doubted that would happen.She'd love to help Silver,but what could they do?

Lucifer intercepted that thought and quickly jabbed Silver with his elbow, and shot him a glance that meant, no you don't. Lucifer blushed as he looked at Xandra, standing behind them, wishing that she couldn't hear Silver's words.

But if Silver really wanted to do so, he'd like to see him try. When Silver said Lucifer was bad because he was alone, well that was half true. The other half was simply because he wanted to. Perhaps being strong and feared would gain respect from others, being kind? People were going to take advantage of you.

"IF you go less sarcastic I'll think about it." Lucifer glared at the Cyndaquil. He couldn't beat her up like this, not when Xandra was waching. Darn!

Lucifer turned and answered the Wartortle's answer, "Darkrai's to blame. But right now...I don't even know if he's there...something strange is happening."
 
"Ow!"

Silver smirked as Lucifer jabbed him.

"I don't care if you eabesdropped or not, I'm still gonna try..."

He smiled at Kaira now.

"And you can definitely help too! Don't listen to him, keep the sarcasm, I love it!"

Silver laughed and held Kaira in his arms, somewhat protectively.

"It's impossible to find someone with a sense of humor! I won't let him kick you out! We need someone funny in our group..."

He smirked at Lucifer, Kaira's mischeif starting to rub off on him. He smiled because he knew if he liked someone, they were immune to Lucifer. So far that included himself, Julie, and now Kaira. He knew that an immune Kaira would surely piss Lucifer off.

"Don't worry, he'll have to go through me to hurt you. Plus, he won't attack with his secret crush watching..."

Silver giggled because he said it so that Lucifer heard, but not Xandra. Though if he were any louder, she could have heard.

A challenge...

Silver smiled mischeviously. He always had fun teasing brother, and now he had a new friend who also enjoyed it, plus he can always blackmail Lucifer about his crush on Xandra. He stood up with Kaira in one arm, and grabbed Julie's paw with the other. He looked serious, for the most part, but mischeif still glinted in his eyes.

"We should head to the castle now..."

He walked with tem past Lucifer and Xandra, and with his smile returning, whispered,

"And leave these two to themselves..."

He laughed and walked to the path that would lead to Darkrai's Castle, holding Kaira, and walking with Julie. He wrapped his arm around Julie and smiled, his scar glinting a bit. Whatever was keeping Darkrai captive was going to be strong. But they had numbers...
 
Kaira smirked. "Ya know Lucario, er. . Silver.. . .I think I like you. At least more than your brother." she said crossing her arms. "I may be sarcastic, but at least I'm not scared of a girl!" she said, loud enough for Lucifer to hear. "If he wants to hit me, go ahead. Don't hold back just cuz his little girlfriends watching him." she put her nose in the air.

Then she thought about Darkrai. "Darkrai? That's the Pokemon that has something to do with this dang insomnia, right?" she asked Silver. "Do you have insomnia too?" then she pointed to Lucifer. "And what about the big ball of angry? Does he have sleeping issues?"

She may be small, but she was curious, which she knew had a tendency to get on peoples nerves. "And the others I'm seeing in this little group. Do they have it too?" she puffed some smoke out into the air. Not directed at anyone, just because she wanted to.

She thought about shooting more smoke at Lucifer, just to make him mad, but she decided not to, for the time being. "I don't think your brother likes me very much." she said. "And that is exactly how I want it to stay." she crossed her arms again, nodding her head.
 
Cain paced back and forth, completely and utterly annoyed. They should have left by now, but they were stuck here chatting amongst themselves. Cain barked loudly, unintentionally.

"This is taking too long. I shall wait for you guys at the front of the city. You are all taking ridiculously long, and the longer we wait, the longer worse things may happen."

With that, Cain trotted off towards the front gates of the city. He hated waiting, and he hated company, so waiting with company was even worse. Cain approached the gates of the city, angrily pacing back and forth.
 
Silver smiled.

"I like you too. You're really fun to be around... And no, not everyone here gets insomnia. The others get nightmares. I do, Julie does. Lucifer got insomnia."

Silver glanced at Cain, pacing at the gate beside them, but said nothing.

"I don't mind the curiosity... I'm just as curious..."

He smiled down at her, then looked at the castle.

"Everyone blames Darkrai for our troubles... But I think it's something bigger, stopping him from saving us..."

He changed the subject, smiling again.

"I won't let him hurt you... Even if Xandra isn't here, heknows I like you, so he won't attack you because he knows it would hurt me if he did..."

Silver looked up, distant.

"He didn't always used to be bad... We were the same... But ever since we've moved... He has two reasons for it... He started acting out when he was seperated from Xandra... And because he thinks he'll get respect from fear..."

He began to pet Kaira, gently but warmly.

"Xandra's here, that will help... And you're proving wrong his 'fear is respect' theory... So we need to get those two together, and keep teasing him until he realizes that scaring people isn't going to gain him any respect..."

He smiled and continued petting Kaira.

"He needs to realize... Being nice always gives you much more respect... I'm nice, and I don't get stepped on... I wish I had my brother back..."

By now, Silver was frowning. Sadness flowed in his veins. But he was still gently stroking Kaira's head.
