These are the currently approved events and hosts, for reference.

Oryx mentioned scrapping individualized emblems this time around in lieu of introducing standard emblems. For instance, an emblem for participating in 5+ GT events, 10+ GT events, an emblem for winning a primary event or a core event an x amount of times, like winning iSketch 5 times or something like that. It's better than having to upload a kilo of different emblems every year, which is tiring and time consuming and noticeably messier than blanket awards. It may be too late to do it this year, but it's a thought.

That sounds like a great idea to me. Making a separate emblem for each individual event could be sort of a hassle, and uploading their image onto our server, adding titles, description, could be even more tiring; due to that, it'd be nice if we could keep these things to a minimum. I mean, we should definitely be able to keep it the way it has been and not change a thing, but Get-Together's more about having fun and enjoying your time, and not collecting emblems or anything, so it'd be best if we worry about that less and put all our attention on more important things, such as our events and how they're being run and whatnot.

I will say, issuance of emblems last year was much more swift compared to previous GTs I have been in. I personally don't mind seeing emblems handled the same way they have been in years past.

I think it'd be neat if we had a universal GT11 participant emblem that could be "upgraded" depending on how many events the user participates in. Not only is it cleaner, but it also encourages people to participate in more events (edit: then again, I suppose individual emblems accomplish the same thing?). Winner emblems could probably stay the same as in the past for exclusivity reasons.

When you say "keep the event open for wrap-up week", do you mean keep the event actually open or just do extra things but not let members keep doing things for the event?

That sounds kind of confusing, so let me be specific: my event is a series of small things that people have to do - can they continue doing those things and updating their entry during the second week or by "open" do you mean I can still do things with it but the members can't?

June 14: Last Day for Timely Event Applications
June 15: Late Event Applications Open
June 18: Last Day for Late Event Applications
June 19: Very Late Event Applications Open
June 21: Final Day for All Event Applications

Is this needed? Three different deadlines? An entry can't really be late if we have a time for it, can it :P

Just a heads-up, guys; there's currently some bug with PC's PM notification system, so if you've applied for some event and are seeing this board but haven't received an approval message from either Antemortem or I, please check your inbox. ^^" Very sorry for the trouble, if this causes any.

You may post your event threads. Please note that they'll stay unapproved until the Get-Together starts so if you just want to wait so the thread is fresh, feel free, but otherwise you have free reign to begin posting the final threads in GT11 Central.
