  • (Kya sorry for super late post >.<)

Richard hadn't seen his mother the day he left. He had invited her, of course, as well as his aunt. Some of his friends had wanted to organize a going-away party, but he had refused with his usual mild smile. Besides, he had everything he needed with his Pokemon.

Still, it would have been nice if she had seen him off.

"You're someplace far away, aren't you?" a voice called, jerking him from his thoughts. Richard turned slightly from the edge of the boat. A tall man, his hair cut short, greeted him with a wave and he smiled back. Sea mist sprayed his face, and Richard blinked to keep it out of his eyes before facing the sea again. Soon, they'd reach Erientanto.

"You're Richard Weste. Right?" the man continued, leaning against the edge of the boat in a similar fashion to Richard himself. The boy glanced over quickly, a hesitant smile still floating on his lips.

    "Yeah."

"Wow, cool! One of the new gym leaders, huh? I'm Ushio Amakie. Awesome to meet ya." A hand was offered, tan and worn, and Richard shook it firmly. He'd gotten better at shaking hands since he had won the Jhoto League, but the contact still made fire dance up his arm. He dropped the grip as soon as he could. "Headed to Pebblestone City, I take it."

    "Uh huh."

"Not much of a talker, are you?" Richard simply met the question with a shy look, a light blush decorating his cheeks. "Ah, that's okay. I'm enough of a chatterbox to keep up the whole conversation."

Richard laughed at that. And for the rest of the boat ride, the sun slowly beginning to set as they drew closer and closer to the island, he spent it listening Amakie blather, spent it watching the light that seemed more like crystals in the water flicker and disappear.

    ~*~

There was something especially uncomfortable about being unable to be near his Pokemon. Arcanine and Rapidash could never fit in the car that had been provided, and Murkrow hated such cramped spaces. Richard himself was already cramped, having just barely fit into the backseat. His few suitcases had been thrown in the trunk haphazardly, and while Richard was pleased to visit a new place, he wasn't sure he'd end up in Pebblestone in one piece with the way the driver drove.

    Not to mention...

    Sneasel.

That stupid Pokemon just refused to go into his Pokeball, never had gone into one. At least, not one of Richard's, and Richard didn't doubt that the irritating, arrogant creature had been released due to any inability to listen or be trained many times before.

So he'd ended up situated right next to the little devil, trying his hardest to not be thrown closer to the Pokemon by the rambunctious driving. Sneasel was doing the same, tossing occasional glares at his Trainer whenever the boy got close enough to touch.

"Finally!" Richard exclaimed, jumping from the car and onto the pavement. "FREE...dom..." he trailed off, eyes growing wider as he took the scenery in. The driver had dropped him off right in front of the gym and his new home. A few gasps and exhales of excitement left Richard as he turned every which direction, trying to take everything in at once. The setting sun behind the mountains, the forest, the gardens everywhere painted with the most beautiful colors. Green, green, green everywhere. This place felt like home. More like home than Goldenrod had.

Sneasel slowly slinked off towards the house, creeping in through the back. He quickly disappeared between the various bushes and grass spread throughout the yard.

Richard, paying no mind, threw open the doors to the gym and ran in. The whole gym seemed illuminated pink and gold and red and orange and every possible warm color and hue to exist, but when Richard blinked it was gone. The only thing that remained was a lavish, expansive room modeled like a garden. Strings of lights hung from the trees, small lanters littered the area. As if on cue to the dying sunlight, everything turned on. And another sigh of enjoyment escaped Richard.

"Okay," he said, snaping himself out of his stupor. He unstrapped his Pokeballs, tossing them all to the ground. With grows and winnies, his whole team emerged, tense with unspent energy.

Murky cawed and nuzzled Richard before taking flight around the gym, surely not going to return until the entire group turned in for the night. Faith started her run around the place, keeping to a soft canter and smelling all of the flowers. Gazing at the lights. Catching up with Murky and trying, failing to get him to race with her.

Richard smiled at his two Pokemon, but he felt hot gazes on his back. He had felt them before, constantly almost, and he smiled at his dog Pokemon.

"Don't you guys want to play?"

Hunt and Arcanine, as a team, approached their Trainer. Sniffed him, nuzzled into his clothes. The boy laughed, placing a hand on each of their head and petting softly. It was regular procedure for the two Pokemon to check him for...well, Richard wasn't sure for what, but he knew they were trying to make sure he was safe. Even when they were done checking, just standing there close to him, they didn't move. There heat was washing over him, and a huge smile broke out on Richard's face.

"Oh, c'mon guys. I know you wanna run. Faith...she's restless," he gestured to the Rapidash, currently sprinting back and forth through one of the paved parts of the gym. Flicking the older Pokemon with his tail, Hunt ran off, barking cheerfully at the horse. She whinnied in return.

Arcanine started to go, only pausing to stare pointedly at his Trainer. Richard blushesd, lifted his chin and returned the stare. Or, tried to. His eyes eventually fell to the floor, hands clenched.

He had done the right thing. Even if Arc disagreed with coming here, it had been the right thing to do. He just...had to get away. Arc would stop looking at him like that once he realized how great it was at the new city. Right? Richard wasn't sure how many more solemn, intense looks he could take from his first Pokemon.

He nodded to himself. He'd done the right thing.

  • The Seagallop One's deck was not an unfamiliar sight to Tai or his friend, Selena. Indeed, they had been on it several times before, but Professor Oak had never been on a boat this fast in his life, and despite his old age, he hung on the railing of the top balcony as the sea spray flew in his face, enthralled as his white lab coat whipped up in the air and nearly sliced surrounding passerbys.

Tai and Selena had opted to sit on the bench nearest the Professor and exchanged amused glances at the old man's excitement. Oak's voice was loud against the pounding of the sea waves against the hull.

"THIS IS THE BEST SHIP RIDE EVER!"

"WE KNOW, PROFESSOR!" Tai and Selena yelled back in unison.

"I'VE NEVER BEEN ON A BOAT THIS FAST! AND GRACEFUL!"

"YOU'VE SAID THAT FOUR TIMES ALREADY, PROFESSOR!!" Again, Tai and Selena chanted loudly in tired unison. There was a small silence, and then a 'pfftt' noise resounded briefly, accompanied by a woman's indignant shriek.

"IF I SPIT, IT GOES BACKWARDS!!!!"

    "WE KNOW, PROFESSOR!!!"

Selena, finally exasperated and giving in to Professor Oak's pleads to join him, stood up on the balcony railing alongside the older man. The wind whipped her clothes and face and eventually lightened her mood, and Tai smiled slightly, looking back down to the newly updated Pokedex in his hands and was flipping through the memory banks and delted unused files. That is, until he came to a picture.

Tai, Selena, and a third girl stood next to each other with each of their 6 pokemon behind them at a stadium. The stadium was the Indigo Plateau, this picture was taken 4 years ago before the accident that made Tai enter a mentally unstable period. Then he found a video clip, of the three of them at the Pokemon Center before the Final Battle. Before she died.

After the video ended, Tai began to laugh after a few minutes of soaking silence. Had that really been them? Were they really that airy, once? So unoccupied with what lay ahead of them, even in the face of an eclipse, innocence reigned. And how stupid had he been? He shook his head, smiling sadly. He had once been an idiot. A very large, very naïve, very blasé moron.

The sea breeze splashed in his face, awakening reality. He stored the pokedex away, and turned his eyes to the crystalline sun. he was on his way to Paisely Rock City in the hopes that he would attend the PaisleyRock Gym Leader Welcome Banquet. He would begin the journey there. Selena and Professor Oak tagged along to make sure he made the trip safely.

And hopefully, this tropical paradise, these island people and places, the sunsets through the jungle and the tribal beat of waves on the golden beaches, would be his remedy.

    His vaccine. His salvation.
    _________________________________________

He stood before Paisley Rock's pokemon center, the crowd thronging around him and reminding him, yet again, that he was in the presence of real humanity. Sweating, shouting, cursing, giggling, trivial humanity. His peers, his sharers of race and creed and genesis. The sliding glass doors were enormous, and people thronged through them, a never ending stream of hectic, laughable insanity. Trainers of all colors and postures greeted each other with jovial high fives or stood amongst themselves in groups, glaring at other trainers they had deemed rivals, already.

So few the seconds of contact, and yet poison and love flew abundantly through the air in equal parts. Yes. Only humanity would be like this. So completely complex and paradox-ridden.

Selena and Professor Oak had already gone back to Kanto, he could see them on the horizon. He turned back around, hesitated to go inside. He wanted to remember this time, the moment that the true recovery began. The change had started with his acceptance of death, then the riddance of Holly and his hair shaving, and now, the sliding doors of abyssal transmutation.

He watched as the faces of the people flowing past him creased, smiling broadly or giving him odd looks as he stood resolutely, a meridian on the highway of eagerness. Some looked bored, others pumped, and some showed awe or even pinches and dashes of fear.

So many faces and ways to live.

so many feelings and ways to begin

This was surely not the ending. This was his beginning. His new chance. The next bullet in the clip, or the next slot in the roulette table.

round and round and round it goes, where it stops….

    He smiled.

    nobody knows.

Over the past four years, he had battled some of the best trainers in the world. He had witnessed supernatural events, met incredible people and individuals in general who were all a part of his silken tableau of life. They were all threads, everything, even the air particles he breathed and the stones he walked over eventually became a part of his lifespan banner. Faces he saw now in passing, floating by briefly, and then on the other side of the scale, faces he could never, ever forget, all meshed, evenly and perfectly in the rampant chaos and the weaving tide.

Her part in the play was far from over. And these doors were just the origin. He framed the moment his feet crossed the threshold. One of the many officers in his police escort came up to him then and said that the committee wanted him to give a speech, considering he was going to be their new gym leader and he was the reigning Kanto Champion. The committee asked him to talk about his victory, and give hope to the people looking forward to obtain a victory in this league.

He complied, and walked up to the wooden stage a few minutes later, the crowd roaring after his introduction. He stood at the waiter of a podium and looked out into the sea of people, finding himself searching for a face he knew would never be there.

He spoke for that face. For that person long gone from his life...

  • Alex wasn't in Blossomwood for more than two minutes, until he heard a faint cry.
    "THE LEADER HAS ARRIVED!!"
All of a sudden, hundreds of people were racing towards Alex. He didn't know what to do. His mind told him to run, but his heart told him to stay. Before he could make the decision, the crowd had mobbed him. Too many people were screaming, but he could make out a few voices.
"Mr. Leader, do you like Blossomwood so far?
"Sir, what kind of Pokemon do you have?"
    "Would you sign my Pokedex?"
He was in total shock, when he heard a blowhorn. Everyone quieted down.
"Everyone, don't scare our new friend, he'll run away!" He saw the crowd making way for a man. When he reached Alex, he spoke.
"Hey, you must be the new Gym Leader. I'm the Mayor of Blossomwood, and for today, your personal tour guide."
Alex shook the man's hand. "It's nice to meet you, sir."
"The pleasure's all mine, and please, call me Jack."
Jack lead Alex through the town, showing him all of the important spots. "This is our P.C, and our market, and some homes."
They reached the Gym. "And this, is your new home."
Alex just stared. It was painted green, with a yellow roof and trees surrounding it. "This is the Gym?"
"Yes, sadly, we didn't get much time to design it, so it's a little dull."
Alex couldn't stop staring. "It's amazing!"
Jack smiled. "Well, I'm glad that you seem to enjoy it. Shall we take a look inside?"
They walked in. Alex was even more amazed. It looked like a greenhouse. Plants and flowers decorated the inside of the Gym.
"I cannot believe that this is my new home."
Jack laughed. "Son, you've only seen the first floor. Take the elevator over there."
Alex ran for the elevator. Each new floor was even more wonderful than the one before. When they got too the fourth floor, Alex stopped dead in his tracks.
"And that, is where you will be battling."
The floor was made just like Gyms back home, with the floor carved out to be a battlefield. Except, it wasn't on solid ground. It was practically an island, floating in the water below. Palm trees were in every corner, and sand was on the edges. Only one thing confused Alex.
"Um, Jack, this place is great, but it doesn't seem to have a type."
Jack looked at Alex. "To the naked eye, it may seem so. This is the City of Growth. The plants and flowers represent the growing of plants, and the island is a new landform, waiting for new animals and plants to grow."
    "Wait, what about the sand?"
Jack smiled. "We had some sand we needed to use."
    Alex laughed.
"Say, why don't I show you where you and your Pokemon will be sleeping. Why don't you take them out now?"
Alex completely forgot he had them with him. He grabbed the Pokeballs off of his belt. He sent out Machamp, Fearow, Clefable, Golem, Poliwrath, and Arcinine, respectively. They all looked around in amazement at the Gym.
Alex chuckled. "I know, guys, I did the same thing."
They all had different views about the Gym. Poliwrath jumped right into the water, enjoying some turf of his own. Machamp and Golem headed for the platform, and tested out how their moves worked. Fearow flew around the large floor, happy to have some room. Clefable decided to explore the rest of the Gym with Arcinine, who wasn't fond of the water.
After a few minutes, Alex called his Pokemon back to him.
Jack said, "Follow me, I'll show you the rooms."
Jack went to the back of the floor, and pressed a button. Seven secret doors opened, containing rooms for Alex and all of his Pokemon.
Alex was surprised. "Do they do this in every Gym?"
"Usually, although whether they use it is optional."
Everyone chose a room, and got used to it.
After a while, Jack said, "Would you like to meet some of the trainers in your Gym?"
"Sure, sounds great." Alex said with a grin.
He met all of his trainers, and gave them some tips and tricks. They all seemed pretty friendly.
Jack said, "Well, I must be off now. You are free to wander around the region for a while, if you want."
"Yeah, I'll make sure I do that."
"Goodbye, and I hope you enjoy your new position, Mr. Leader."
    "Please, call me Alex."
"Well then, see you later, Alex."
Jack left. Alex went back up to his room, and sat down. This was really happening. He was a Gym Leader. He would miss all of his friends and family, but this was were he belonged. Alex thought to himself, "And this is only my first day."

  • I'm so sorry that it took so long. >< But here it is:
    _______________________

"We're here," said the elderly gentleman as the bright yellow cab pulled to a graceful stop in front of the ocean liner. Lissa tilted her head, staring at the SS Aquamarine. Some would have proclaimed it to be magnificent or drooled over its huge deck or praised its aquatic abilities, or whatever it was called. But Lissa was not one of these people. To her, the ship was simply a big, shiny boat that would bring her to her destination.

Well, all right, the big buffet table that she had seen in the brochure had been pretty cool.

But no distractions today. She was the Sinnoh Champion and a gym leader now, not just wimpy Lissa Evans of Hearthome City (although really, Gym Leader Lissa Evans of Rainbow Town wasn't much better). It was time to start a new life.

Do my parents know about the victory?

The redhead blinked, shaking herself out of her reverie.

"Miss?" the taxi driver prompted in his mild drawl. "Are you all right?"

"Oh...yeah, I'm just thinking," Lissa mumbled before she hopped out of the cab. Shooting her a doubtful look but not commenting, the man followed--in a decidedly more poised manner, she noted, flushing--and helped haul her luggage out the trunk.

She pulled out 200 Pokedollars and handed the money to him. "Thanks for the ride, sir!"

"You're welcome." The man looked worried as he stared at her. "Are you sure you'll be all right, now, miss?"

To her surprise, Lissa smiled a genuine smile for the first time in a while. "Yeah, I should be good," she replied. "Oh, before I forget, here's your tip!" Leafing through her blue Eevee wallet, she pulled out a few crumpled bills, placed it in his hand, and left before he could say anything.

The sight of the ship looming in front of her suddenly seemed more daunting when she stopped in front of it. Surely it hadn't been this big before. And had it always looked so...sinkable? Was she making a big mistake by doing this?

Lissa shook her head. No. It was just her inner coward talking now. There was definitely nothing wrong with the SS Aquamarine since it definitely wouldn't sink, and all her misgivings about Rainbow Town were just misplaced because Rainbow Town was a great town. Definitely. Completely, wholly, totally, absolutely.

Now I'm definitely being ridiculous, she mocked herself. Taking a deep breath, Lissa looked at the liner once more but with consternation this time around. No. I can do this. I have to do this.

I wonder what Mom and Dad would be thinking if they were here right now.

She blinked. When had that thought come into her mind? Anyway, who knew, who cared--certainly not Lissa. Definitely not Lissa. Head held high, the fifteen-year-old walked forward, away from the godforsaken land that she had hated so, without once looking back.
    _______________________

    "We're here."

The two words were uttered in an entirely different intonation than that of her original taxi driver. The new one scowled, complained more, and--Lissa wrinkled her nose--smelled worse. Blech.

"Thanks," she muttered, handing him the required amount of money. Funny, she mused, the bills that she slapped in his hand seemed to be much lighter in her hand than the ones with which she had presented the kind old man. The surly driver merely grumbled something as she jumped out the car. She kept expecting him to help her with the luggage, but he was just sitting in the front seat chewing on some tough-looking slice of pizza. It figured.

The second that she managed to pull her last bag out of the musty old trunk, he sped away. Lissa stuck her tongue out at the disappearing car before turning to face her new...home.

This was Rainbow Town, the town of happiness, wasn't it? So why did she still feel so crabby and unhappy?

Whatever. Maybe it was just the weariness kicking in or her hormones talking. She clenched the handles of her bags in her fists and strode into Rainbow Town.

What she had expected to see wasn't actually present, to her surprise. Lissa had believed Rainbow Town to be flooded with happy-go-lucky hippies in a cheerful town with a massive rainbow arcing from each end of the city. But that wasn't the case at all. She didn't see any long-haired, tie-dyed dudes lounging in the streets, and the colorful bridge of mammoth proportions was missing.

Well, maybe that had been an unreasonable expectation. But still! Where were the hippies and their pale wigs?

"Are you the new gym leader?" chirped a squeaky voice. Lissa looked down to see a tiny girl who had somehow materialized at her feet. "We've all been waiting for our new gym leader!"

    "Um...no."

"Then why do you have bags?" Darn it, she had been forgotten about the observation mastery that kids somehow just possessed! Of course, hers had disappeared ever since she had turned eleven, but she still had a vague memory of being the most ADHD kid on the block. Then again, she hadn't had much competition, seeing as most of her neighbors didn't have kids with whom she could play...

"Er, I'm the new maid," she lied. "Shh, don't tell, it's a secret."

The kid looked at her with suspicious brown eyes. "Why?"

"Because...because I'm going to make a surprise cake for the gym leader before she gets here," she improvised. "So don't say anything to anyone, okay?"

At first, the girl just looked at her with even more skepticism. But then she grinned, and Lissa's heart nearly gave out from the relief. "Okay!" she squealed. "I won't say a word! Promise! Cross my heart and hope to die." She did some weird thing with her fingers that Lissa didn't even try to follow, then exclaimed, "Come on! I'll show you how to get to the gym leader's house!"

"Okay," Lissa said, praying that the kid couldn't hear her heart. Because it sure sounded like the whole world could hear the unsteady ga-lump ga-LUMP ga-lump-LUMP that was the rhythm in her chest. She followed the girl down the path, taking in the details, so she wouldn't have to ask for directions again.

The kid had stopped in front of a white house that was, thankfully, not placed squarely in the center of the entire town. "Here ya are!" She smiled, showing off a gape next to her front teeth, and skipped off without waiting for Lissa to respond.

But before she disappeared, she looked back and said, "M'name's Jennie, by the way!" And then, turning around a dusty white house, she was out of sight.

Lissa let out a sigh, pressing her hands to her forehead, which had broken out in beads of sweat. Arceus, she needed to touch up on her lying skills. They were rusty.

As she dragged her belongings across the road and dropped them in the dirt that was her front yard, though, she felt kind of guilty about prevaricating to Jennie. Sooner or later, the little girl was going to find out and pester Lissa about it until she exploded into a million little fragments.

But, she reasoned, otherwise Jennie would have told everyone else in the town. And she would have been swarmed. Lissa had seen a town greeting its gym leader, who had been away for a few days on a trip, and it wasn't pretty. And a town saying hello to its new gym leader? Well. She didn't want to be around when that happened.

Now, as for the house. Well. It was...nothing like she had expected. Smaller and less grand than those of the other gym leaders--the ones that she had seen, anyway--it looked kind of like her house back home. Except a little bit smaller. And she realized, with surprise, that she actually...kind of liked it. The whole thing was pretty nondescript, since most of the other houses were also whitewashed, and there weren't any details that screamed, "A GYM LEADER LIVES HERE AMBUSH HER PLAWKS." Nice.

As Lissa made her way inside, she sighed in relief at the cool air that was was fanning her white-turned red face. She made sure to lock the door squarely behind her before tossing her Poke Balls into the air. Out of red flashes popped her Pokemon, her loyal partners, her best friends. As did their opinions about the house.

"This is it?" inquired Rayde, and if the green Bouquet Pokemon had eyebrows, Lissa imagined that they would be raised right now.

"I thought our house would be grander," Ruby said as he stared around the house.

"Always the drama queen," sighed Rayde.

Dusty, who had nearly smashed into the ceiling in his excitement, buzzed around with delight, turning at last to beam at his trainer. "I knew this place would be fun!" he chirped. "I mean, it looks like it's practically home already! I can't wait to go down to the beach!" Without waiting for her response, he zoomed out of the room and presumably into the backyard. Skull only rolled her eyes, muttered something, and floated into the other rooms to explore.

"It's too cold in here," Ruby interjected. "I shall inspect our backyard and see if it is to our satisfaction."

Rayde rolled her fire-red eyes, though a smile was curling on her flowery green face. "Quit the fancy talk, Ninetales. And that's not even good grammar, anyway. You can't connect a linking verb to a preposition..." Her voice faded as the two turned the corner.

"If you don't mind," said Sammi. Lissa turned to see him sitting in a puddle on the floor. "Don't get me wrong; sitting atop a puddle is nice, but I'd rather like to swim, if you please?"

"Of course, Sammi," replied Lissa absently as she recalled him and carried him outside. The pool was actually smaller than the one at home, but its waters looked tempting as sunshine glimmered and bounced off its aqua-colored surface. She released the Lanturn into the chlorinated water.

"Thank you," he said, and he bobbed his blue antennae to her, the yellow orbs of light connected to them jiggling up and down as well.

Lissa walked back inside the house and to Ellie, the one Pokemon on her team who had not said anything. The sleek Espeon was still standing in the same position and the same place in which Lissa had last seen her. As the Pokemon trainer walked toward her, Ellie curled up around Lissa's legs. She could feel the purple cat trembling.

"This feels wrong," she said, voice shaking as hard as her body. "I'm just...I'm getting bad vibes from this. This feels wrong. I want to go home."

The redheaded girl stroked Ellie, attempting to reassure the obviously freaked out Pokemon. "It'll be okay," she said. "I'm sure it'll be okay." But the two of them knew that she wasn't telling the truth. Ellie didn't even have to be a Psychic Pokemon to figure that out.

...Arceus, was she really that bad of a liar?

" You want me to what?" Asaji was sitting in a black sofa, drinking a water bottle. Outside lied Blue, who was dead asleep after a tag team match between 2 local Trainers, and a friend of Asaji and Asaji himself. There seemed to be a commotion outside, due to Snorlax being out on the street.

A representative was standing about a yard from him, seeming nervous. " Well, I just wanted to tell you that you have been chosen to be a Gym Leader at Crystalline City over at-!" " Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. I got it now. So you want me to be a Gym Leader at some City in some far off region I don't even know? Sounds like a gype." The representative sighed, then said, " Don't kill the messenger. I don't really know all the details, but apparently you were chosen randomly to be a Gym Leader for this newly made Pokemon League over in the Erientanto region. This is the opportunity of a lifetime, Asaji-can I call you Asaji? Because Mr. Maurice sounds good to me as-!"

" Shut up." Asaji sat calmly in his chair. He didn't like the sounds of going off into some far off place he didn't know. But the money...the treatment he'd get as a Gym Leader would keep him set for life. Plus, he felt like he deserved a Gym. He finished 3rd in the Hoenn League anyway. "Okay."

The representative got up. " Really? Why, thank you, Mr. Maurice! Here's your ship ticket, a map of the region, everything you need to know....Mr. Maurice, you have no idea how much you helped us out by doing this." " Ok, Ok. Now, you can get out of my house, man." The representative went outside, and flipped open his phone. He dialed some numbers, and waited for someone to answer. " Yeah, it's Joe....Psh, he took it like candy from a baby. Of course he would. Why? Because of my master persuading techniques."

[OoC: Hope that can count as my Sample Post.]

    __________________________________________________________________________

As Asaji entered Crystalline City, he gazed at the luxorious sights. There was a TV Station there, as well as an Art Museum and a Gallery. Asaji turned to see rich people walking their Pokemon at a very long park. He marvelled at the houses and apartments that filled the city. He cried at the sight of the huge Mall, and gorgeous Fountain at the center of the city. Finally, as he made one last turn, he saw HIS gym.

The Cyrstalline City Gym, the city's jewel itself. A red carpet was on the floor of a long corridor, which led to an open area, that also had a ramp and staircase that led to the top of the room: a clean, hard glass Pokemon Battlefield. " Wha...." The representative appeared again. "Stupified? This is what happens when you show you have class. Crystalline City is the City of Riches. This was all through donations. However, we expect you to be the best Trainer you can be." Asaji snapped out of his stupification. " S-Sure. Don't worry, I got you. So, you guys want me to win some fights? I can do that. But one last thing, mac."

The representative looked at him, " Oh? What's that?" Asaji smiled. " Where da food at?"

[OoC: Yeah, what he said. I noticed the RP started, but I didn't know how to make the sample post for you like you asked, so I bridged it so the first half could easily link to the second half. That's why I made the line.]

(OOC: Alright now here is my post finally)

Calder awoke with a start and at first didn't remembering much of what had happened in the previous day. As it slowly started to come back to him as he checked the clock in his villa noticing the time, 7AM. He recalled receiving an invitation asking him to become a gym leader on a foreign island that seems shady to him. He really didn't care because the challenge at the resort area of the Sinnoh region was getting dull and the fans were a little crazy. Man I really hope my fans aren't up yet, just in case I should get ready for the cameras. Calder thought as he checked the body mirror arranging his clothes and his ever color-changing hair, which had turned a shade of dark red to express the hot temperature of the area. He wiped his eyes to get the sleep out of them and look good for the cameras, his eyes changing to black to symbolize that he was attempting to sneak off the island.

Calder was careful leaving the villa through the back door not wanting to explain his leaving. The camera would stare him down as he explained himself and said goodbye to people he really didn't like. Calder visited one real friend there, Reid, to ask him to take care of his villa for him, which mean't Reid was going to host alot of parties in his absence. He checked the time on his phone and saw it was already 8:30AM, not knowing where the time went Calder did his last ditch effort to avoid running into some "friends", he bolted. As he ran he could make out the cruiser that was escorting him to Erientanto in the distance, the S.S. Erientanto in fact, he thought to himself Oh my god, I'm actually going to make it. Sadly, his number one fan, had already been up, ready to jump Calder at the usually time of 10AM that he normally followed. His fan quickly chased after Calder causing a commotion and making Calder swear to himself how much he hated that fan. I got a plan. Calder said as he let out his Salamence slowing down his fan rush for a little bit to stare at awe as his Salamence, giving Calder a little bit of time to climb aboard his mighty dragon Pokemon.

His fans quickly understood what he was doing as they knew him inside and out. They rushed after the dragon that was now flying so high in the sky it was barely noticeable at ground level. Calder flew as swift he could manage to get to the cruiser, return the Salamence just above the ship and yell out "GO! GO! START THE BOAT!" After Calder had caught his breath he noticed they were already leaving the port and his fans were still atleast 30 feet away, he had made it, eyes flaming red from adrenaline. He knew if he wanted peace on this "Erientanto Island" he was going to have to throw a couple of battles. He released only his Absol while on the boat, he had always liked his Absol best, plus his other Pokemon would be to heavy to keep on a cruiser. Absol just stared at Calder for most of the trip to Erientanto, causing Calder to reminisce about how they met.

Flash Back. Calder is walking away from his hometown of Lavarock when he noticed an Absol running towards the center of his town's volcano, Mt. Flame, where his Dad's gym was now closed due to activation of the volcano. Oh Crap! It's going to hurt itself up there! he thought moving as fast as he could. Lucky, he has his Heatran his father, Starr, gave him as a kid. As fast as he could he used Heatran's natural heat resisted body to catch Absol from falling into the volcano. The only way to save the poor Pokemon's life was to capture it, Absol knew it, and allowed Calder to do so. After travelling a distance Calder had met his friend from before Reid who had come from Pacifidlog Town of Hoenn. He explained that a young trainer had released the Pokemon and Absol was so upset found his way to Pacifidlog Town and caused disasters for them before he fled to the Choza region. Flash Back End.

Calder and Absol went back to staring at each other until they met land and it was announced that they had arrived. We're here! Let's hope for a challenge! more excited than he usually would be. He could see a forest in front of him and out of little revealed areas noticed that there were buildings in the forest. I wonder what that is... Calder thought starring at the forest with excitement. "That's your new home, Tigertree City, home to the more stealthy trainers of the island." a man near Calder had said almost reading his mind. Calder stared up at the man who was wearing some sort of black suit, weird shoes, and gauntlets that had some sort of launcher on his right wrist that had 5 small Pokeballs inside. Calder then noticed a Pokeball in his left hand and a Pokemon to the man's left, a Zangoose. "Who are-" Calder attempted to say, but the man intervened again. "I'm Daisuke, your Second-in-command, you may call me Dai."

(OOC: I was thinking about this, where is Erientanto located on the map? because Choza region starts from Lavarock Town and is located under Hoenn. (Lavarock Town is located under Pacifidlog Town in the middle shade of blue on the Pokearth map.))

EDIT: Erientanto Island in my mind

  • The rest of the gym was just as impressive as the first floor, if not better. The second floor of the gym was covered entirely by grass, an array of trees stretching over every inch of the floor. In the middle of the gym, though, was perhaps the most beautiful and elegant feature of this floor. The water was a sparkling bright blue, with the reflection of the trees closest to it dancing across the face of the water. Below, tangles of seaweed dared to drag any who touched it beneath, deep into the waters of the small and quaint pond.

"Wow... You guys, this is really, really, nice! I would have never expected something like this, not for me. It's... Great."

    "Flare! Flare!"

    "Jolt!"

"No. No you will not light the grass on fire, Flareon. Don't make me send you back to Professor Oak. It may not seem like a long trip there, but once you get there it just might be a really long time until I bring you back. So be good, kay'? It'd be a shame not to have my little spitfire here with me."

    "Flare!"

"As for you Jolteon... Thank you. I don't think I'll be needing you to give the water any "charge". If it was meant to have anything of the sorts, I'm sure the people who built it would have put eels in there. Or something like that. I'm sure they thought of it... They had to! The place is far too extravagant to have not been built with such thought, such care. Not that I'm not grateful- I really am! It's nice, it's cozy, and it has floors! I've never seen a gym with so many fl-"

"So I take it that you like the gym, then? We were ever so concerned that you weren't going to like it, or that it wouldn't fit your extravagant tastes."

Amidst all the gawking and arguing with his pokemon, Kyler had failed to notice the man that had been just entered from the elevator. He was taller than the first man that Kyler had met, much more built, with a thick accent to go along with his frightening figure. French maybe, or possibly German. Either way, Kyler was far too interested in knowing why the man had intruded his gym than to care about some "fancy" accent.

    "And you are...?"

Now, one thing to understand about Kyler is that he is not confrontational. It just wasn't his style. He had his pokemon, his strong and faithful team of six, and they were all he needed. Why get angry? Why be mean? It wasn't necessary, it wasn't funny... No, it was sad. Sad that people really felt the need to stop so low, or to hurt the feelings of the others around them. Kyler... Was just peaceful. Plain and simple, cut and dry. BUT! There was always a butt. This man, this figure that had intruded upon Kyler' gym... He was pushing Kyler's angry side. Kyler hadn't been that noticeable when he snuck his way into the town, so he knew that the man couldn't have seen him coming in! Or could he? Either way, Kyler found it extremely rude for the man to just "allow" himself in like that. Straight up rude, yo'.

"My apologies. I can tell that you are offended my presence, and once I am done saying what I have to say I will leave. Of course, I'm sure you probably prefer that I don't speak at all, and that I leave and never come back... But, I think I have some authority over this situation. My name is Guillermo Montez Jibanez III, and I am the mayor of Foamleaf Town. I assume that you are Kyler, by the way? I hope so... Anyways! I've been secretly sitting in the gym all day, awaiting your arrival. Everyone has been so excited for your arrival, but I read somewhere that you are a rather peaceful fellow. I didn't allow the town to organize as they would have liked, and I am sure that they will most certainly hate me for it... That doesn't matter though! I had a chance to see your pokemon, from the window, and I am rather impressed. Your Vaporeon is one of the best I've ever seen, if not the best, and your Glaceon... Well, he's very elegant. Also, I do quite like the feisty attitude of your Flareon and Jolteon. They seem to have the right idea! Or know their weaknesses, rat-"

"My pokemon aren't weak", Kyler muttered, a slight hiss to his tone. "They just happen to dislike the things that most consider to be their "weaknesses", that's all. Flareon fears nothing, but almost dislikes everything. Jolteon... Is strong, confident. Water has no meaning to him, and is rather useless in his eyes. He's the harsher one of the two, and probably the rudest of my pokemon. Him, or my Umbreon. I'm honestly not sure... Both seem to stick their noses where it's nether wanted nor asked for. They're... Complicated."

Kyler let off a slight smile after approving purr's from his pokemon, but regained a blank look when realizing that the man was still standing there, still staring, still being... A snoop? Yes, a snoop. A big, fat-headed, creepy snoop. Immature much? Lacking the ability to be confrontational, Kyler let the man stand there, and just ignored him. He had other concerns, other things he needed to take care of with his pokemon that didn't involve this man. So, turning to his pokemon to gain their approval, Kyler began his march towards the elevator. This man could stay here all day; he didn't care! As said, hi pokemon were his main priority, not this man, or his reasons for being here. He just didn't care... Not at all!

"So, excuse me sir, but I'm leaving now."

"That's fine. I'll stave off the town's people a little longer, maybe for the next two day or so... I don't want you to feel rushed, or in a frenzy." The man cleared his throat, and spoke again. "But please, be careful. There aren't many people to trust in this town, and there aren't many people you'll find to be fond of, either. This town is... Perhaps the most different of all the towns in Erientanto. Trust no one, young Kyler, trust no one..."

Weird words, but wise ones. "The Town of Deceit", was it's nickname, and by the words of the mayor it seemed as if it would live up to it. Kyler could live with that! After all, he did have a few of his own conniving pokemon, as well as knew how to connive on his own. So, he could make it, right? Right! This town was new to him, and the people would be, once he got ready to meet them... So he'd make the best of the situation. If they wanted to lie? If they wanted to be "fake" towards him? It was cool... Real cool! He would just ignore them, and refuse to take their challenges. HAH! He was the gym leader, after all... They didn't have much of a choice in this. Be mean? Then that's what you'll get. Be rude? Then you'll get it two times back.

And so on, and so on, and so on.

Kyler waited on the mayor to leave before making his move. Turning to Flareon and Jolteon, he grabbed both of their pokeballs from his belt loop, and called them back. Something just... Didn't feel right. The mayor seemed kind enough, he really did... It was just the town itself. The town name. "The Town of Deceit"? He had thought about the name as a bit of a joke before, but making the move he now felt different. For example, he had expected a small, quaint, quiet town with few people, and little extravagance. And it was everything but that! High, arching buildings, all arranged neatly for miles upon miles, and nicely-paved roads of only the finest stone. All the homes that were visible were at least three stories in more, the same extravagance applied to each and every building, along with bold and daring colors plastered against the exterior. Even the Pokemon Center, seemed to be three stories, as well as the Pokemart! It was just... Extravagant. The whole town, the people that he had seen walking leisurely with their pokemon, the walkways and roads... Everything.

Bounding out the doors of the gym, Kyler was attacked by a frenzy of pokemon, all excited to see their master. He smiled to each, quickly unhooking their pokeballs and calling each and every one of them back. Except Umbreon. No, as the pokemon danced in and out of his legs, Kyler had to find somewhere to put him. The house was an obvious answer, as he was pretty sure that it was equipped with all the necessities for he and his pokemon. Would Umbreon agree, though? No, Kyler was sure he wouldn't! Umbreon was defiant. Extremely, extremely, defiant. There had to be some way to get him to cooperate, some kind of way for him to... I don't know, "Cut a deal"? To have to cut a deal with a pokemon is pretty sad, I'll admit... You just don't know his Umbreon, though! He's mean. Sweet, caring, but mean all the same.

"Umbreon, I need for you to go in the house. I know you probably don't want to, but I really, really, think I should go explore the town a little. And I'd let you come with me, but I need to go... Eh, alone-ish. I called the others back, into their pokeballs, so they won't see anything that you don't. I promise."

    "Breon!"

"Thank you, Umbreon. I'll walk you inside, and get you some pokeblocks out of my bag to eat."

And it was then that he noticed her. Yes, her. She seemed as if she had been standing there a while, watching as Kyler and his pokemon made their negotiation. And just as the mayor before her, she was annoying. Annoying, because yet again someone he did not know was intruding against his space. But as she stepped forward, she let out a shocking noise. Calm, melodic... Serene?

    Serene.

"Hello... My name is Serene, and I am your assigned maid. I hope you don't mind, but as I was waiting I went and gathered a few groceries from the local market. I have some pokeblocks ready in the house, so if you'd like for me to feed your Umbreon, I could? Also, I don't know if you've seen the mayor or not, but I think you should go see some of the town's people, perhaps. I know if you've talked to him, that he probably suggested against it, but that's because he doesn't like to work too much. He's... A lazy man. I think that the local trainers would be extremely excited to see you, and meet you.
    "

"Alright... I guess I'll do that... Thanks. And yes, please do feed Umbreon for me."

    "Bre?"

"I will do that, Master Kyler. I'll have dinner done for you before you get home, and I will be sure to it that no one is allowed in the gym, and that your Umbreon stays out of trouble. But please... Do me a favor. Whatever you do, whoever you encounter, and wherever you go... Please, please, PLEASE! Be careful. Very, very, careful."

Master Kyler? Dinner? Favor? Careful? Very, very, careful?

Things were beginning to become a bit much. Here he was, new to the town, and already he'd been warned. Twice. He was just a kid, barely seventeen, and running his own gym was going to be a challenge in it's own right. Why did everyone have to warn him? Why did everyone have to be so cautious? Not that he didn't appreciate it, because he did... Still, it was all too much. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to have a walking partner? Maybe... He should let Vaporeon out, and Glaceon? Better safe than sorry.

    "Right... I'll do that."

After nodding in an agreeing manner, and turning Umbreon over to Serene, he turned slowly towards the path and began his trip towards town. So there would be challenges, so there would be "problems"... He wasn't the Hoenn champion of seven years for nothing. Yeah, he had experience. Lots, and lots, and lots...

  • "Finish it with a Mach Punch!"

The Breloom rapidly complied with Chris' words, slamming a claw into the poor Rapidash's head and sending it sprawling into a nearby fountain and causing a crack in the stone structure.

"Yeah! Four in a row!" Chris cheered over the mob that had formed around the battle, celebrating by pumping his fist into the air as Sakura and Rayne copied. While it had started as a leisurely walk through the city with 4 out of his 6 Pokemon (Char stayed behind and slept while Haru had flown off.), before he knew it, trainers from all over the town were challenging him, and he was more than happy to comply.

No matter the reason, whether the citizens of the city wanted to test the prowess or skill of their new leader, or were hoping for a badge, the competitions had attracted quite a crowd as the battles raged on. However, his next opponent would be one of the most difficult. In a gesture of good faith, Chris accepted the challenge of an overeager, overconfident, 10 year old kid, probably with only a single Pokemon. As the kid took to the opposite side of Chris and his Pokemon, a grin of pure confidence filled his face. Feeling benevolent, Chris lifted his inexperienced Totodile off of his shoulder.

"Alright, Rayne. Time for your first battle. Just listen up and you'll be fine." Instructed Chris, scratching the Pokemon on the top of your head. "Ready?"

    "Toto!"

"Right!" He grinned, placing the Pokemon on the ground. This would be a good experience for both Rayne and the trainer, or so he thought.

No sooner had Rayne reached the center of the battlefield, the kid sent out his Pokemon. Something Chris never expected. In a flash of light, a Typhosion stood on the field, towering over the Totodile. Before Chris could even protest, the kid made the first move.

"Ty! Fire Blast! Let's go!" The kid shouted, no regard for anything but winning.

Chris mentally cursed as the giant fire lizard charged the attack. Rayne hadn't had any battle experience, and now he was facing a king of the Pokemon world. Returning him was out of the question. Chris didn't even think about bringing the Pokeballs on what was supposed to be a walk around town.

His eyes rapidly darted around, his thoughts a million a second; what could he do? An idea jumped into his mind, and with little time, he didn't second guess it.

"Rayne, straight it! Go!" Not even phased by the towering Pokemon (Albeit slightly confused) Rayne complied, running straight at the Typhosion. As the Pokemon fired it's scorching attack, Chris shouted one order.

    "Down! Now!"

As smoke and fire filled the arena, Chris grinded his teeth, hoping his Pokemon got what he was supposed to do, hoping the Totodile dove into the manhole at the Typhosion's feet. Everything was answered soon enough, as the Totodile jumped out of it.

Although a few visible grins were there, the Totodile seemed mostly unharmed. A grin forming on his face, Chris issued his command.

"Water Gun!" However, he was not prepared for what happened. The Pokemon released a torrent of water at the Pokemon, slightly less than a water gun. Chris was astounded as the Typhosion lost its footing, stumbling and falling into the fountain of water the Rapidash slammed into.

The Typhlosion shot out of the water as quickly as he could, although even a Zubat could see how tired it had become. And who could blame it? after firing and taking a major attack, then going for a swim in your weakness, even Chuck Norris would have a hard time.

Not only that, but this was Rayne's first battle as well. Better not to tempt luck.

"I think that's enough." Chris said, walking to the center of the field and gathering his Totodile in his arms. "Amazing Job, buddy."

"WAIT!" The kid yelled as Chris turned away. "We can still fight! What are you scared!? Chicken!?"

With a sigh, Chris continued walking away, Sakura still on his shoulder and Takeo and Fiore, his Buizel and Breloom close behind. "I'm sure you can find someone else to battle."

(OOC: Bah. Absolute Crap. I just wanted to get something up so everyone else could post. Next time It will be acres better guys. Sorry.)

  • (Alright, here it is)

    ~*~

    "HEY! That's mine!"

Richard had almost screamed when the loud yell reached his ears as he entered the main house, which was lit in the same fashion as the gym. More yells echoed throughout the building, followed by all too familiar yet muffled snickers and the scraping of feet against stone. Arc bumped his hand gently, trying to relax his trainer.

"If you don't give that back, I swear--" but the high-pitched voice never got to swear exactly what it would do, as it cut out promptly. Richard turned towards the now still footsteps, and he felt his heart jump.

"Oh. You must be the gym leader." He would've replied yes, but he still hadn't found his voice. Because he didn't recall anything about a maid, much less one in a frilly, maybe-too-short French Maid outfit, when he had signed up. One high-heeled shoe hung of the maid's fingers, brunette hair disheveled from obvious exertion. Richard had most certainly not expected this. Especially not...

"Yo!" came a haughty voice from behind the maid, who instantly whipped around and made to grab the Sneasel. The Dark Pokemon danced out of the grasp easily, smirking at the maid and practically waltzing to his Trainer. A loud huff escape the maid, who was now glaring full-on at Richard.

"This devil is yours, gym leader?"

Now, Richard never felt any incling to defend Sneasel. Nor did he get the urge to rip the other shoe from his Pokemon's claws and return it to the maid. Under normal condition, he likely would have engaged in a fuming arguement with his least liked Pokemon.

But now, now he was staring blankly at the maid in front of him. The maid who was tapping HIS foot on the floor in impatience and waiting to get HIS shoe back. His high-heeled shoe.

"Yo. Richard. Hello, stupid. Might wanna close your mouth," Sneasel commented, grinning wickedly and laughing at Richard's unresposiveness. "Yeah, I noticed too. Pretty crazy, right? What kinda town have we landed in anyway?"

"Shut up, Sneasel," Richard replied, none of his usual bite accompanying his voice. The Pokemon just laughed louder. Forcefully shutting his mouth and no longer gaping, the younger boy was able to finally, coherently respond to the boy clad in the French maid outfit. "Um. Uh, yeah. Yeah, it's mine. Sorry. Sorry, sorry, sorry," he fumbled, distractedly reaching out to grab the shoe. Sneasel danced out of his hand's way, but Richard's eyes remained firmly on the pissed-off maid in front of him. "Um."

"Um um um!" he snapped back, stomping over and placing his hands pointedly on his hips. "Do you have a brain in there, gym leader?"

"Ouch~" Sneasel commented. And it was that, that one singular comment that flung Richard back into reality.

"Dude, gimme the shoe!" he hissed, snagging his Dark Pokemon around the neck and, ignoring the splutters and attempted bites, dragged Sneasel to his chest. Admist the screeches of his Pokemon, Richard wrestled the shoe away and handed it to the maid. "Here. Really sorry about that." He flashed the maid a winning smile, mixed with just the perfect amount of 'don't-blame-me'.

"Let. Me. Go!" Sneasel snapped, scraping a claw against Richard's clothed arm. The boy winced, and Arcanine growled lowly in warning at his teammate. The Sneasel nearly stuck his tongue out before stilling in Richard's grasp, eyes flying back to the maid.

The maid who was currently slipping on his shoe and eyeing Richard appreciatively, as if for the first time realizing who exactly had stepped into the house. His pale blue eyes finally came to rest on Richard's face, and he nodded.

"Yeah, you gotta be the gym leader. Right?" Richard opened his mouth to say right, but he was easily overpowered by the maid's firm, "Right!" in response to his own question. Richard blinked, and Sneasel chuckled. "I'm Sachiko, and I'm here to help you get acquainted with your new living quarters and facilities." The entire sentence felt scripted, perfect, and Richard couldn't help but drop his Sneasel unceremoniously on the floor and approach the maid.

    "Sachiko? But that's a girl's name."

It was Sachiko's turn to blink, while Sneasel promptly rolled on the floor laughing at an obnoxious pitch.

"I...I...how did you know?" the maid whimpered, suddenly curling in on himself. Richard bit his lip, regretful. Of course, it was hard to tell. Sachiko was skinny, skinny enough that his legs looked feminine and his arms just thin enough to be a woman's...and his fake boobs were even, realistic looking and not too big. It was going to be hard for Richard to explain exactly how he knew, because he had just known that Sachiko was a man by looking at him.

"Uh. I'm just, haha, good at telling the difference?" he said hesitantly, rubbing the back of his neck. It was a total lie; many of his friends had laughed at his expense when he simply couldn't figure out what gender someone was.

Sachiko flinched, looking down resolutely. The boy nodded gently after a moment, barely glancing up into the gym leader's eyes.

"Oh. Is it...a problem? I know some people--" Sachiko started, shuffling his feet back and forth. Richard jumped.

    "No! No...I didn't mean that."

"He was just surprised," came an unexpected, light voice. Richard turned back, seeing Murky flapping his wings and staring gently at Sachiko. The maid jolted, eyes flying to the Bird Pokemon and widening slightly. The Murkrow was unfazed. "None of us were expecting a crossdresser."

There was a wave of nods from the Pokemon around Richard. The maid looked at each of them quickly, taking the information in.

    Sachiko sighed loudly and smiled.

"Okay. Um, sorry for yelling earlier but," a glare was tossed at Sneasel who simply rolled his eyes, "that thing was harrassing me."

Richard tried to kick his least favorite Pokemon, but Sneasel rolled out of the way and jumped to his feet. A winning smirk was tossed towards Sachiko, who didn't buy it for a second.

"I'll make sure he doesn't do it again." And while Richard knew Sneasel would take the challenge and likely cause more havoc than ever, he was willing to try to comfort Sachiko even if it meant more pain for him in the long run.

"That would be nice," Sachiko agreed. He clapped his hands together, suddenly all business. "All right! Let me show you guys around. How about we start with the garden? I know some parts of this house will be hard for your Pokemon to...fit comfortably in."

Actually grabbing Sneasel as it tried to sneak off, Richard complied, cheerfully following his new maid out to survey his new home. Faith, who had simply stuck her head into one of the open windows, withdrew and began to walk towards the garden, Murky following her lead.

Hunt would have followed as well, if Arcanine hadn't stepped directly in front of him and growled lowly. The Dark Dog Pokemon drew back and stared, confused, at his companion.

"What?" he said, his voice devoid of anger. Arc tensed.

"...I don't like this," the Dog hissed, his whole body ready to snap at the slightest sound. Hunt shook his head.

    "Get over it."

"You feel it too! This was a bad idea, coming here."

"Get over it," Hutn said again, firmer. Arc sniffed and turned away from his best friend slightly, irritated that the Dark Pokemon was calling him out. "Everyone knows why you really didn't want to come here."

"So?" Arc snapped, suddenly pacing about the room to release some of his stress. Hunt shook his head again, his mouth worked into a slight frown. "Sachiko--I don't like him. Not at all--"

"Arc!" Hunt barked. The Fire Pokemon jolted as he was whacked sharply with his friend's tail. Hunt seemed ready to do more than just whack him. "Stop it. We've already talked about this. It doesn't matter how you feel, it's Richard's choice." Arcanine refused to meet his friend's eyes, instead staring at the colorful walls. Hunt growled and shoved himself into Arc's line of sight. "No repeats of Xavier, okay? You promised," Hunt suddenly pleaded, pressing closer to Arcanine. The Dog stared down at the Houndoom, a regretful frown covering his face.

"Yeah. No repeats of Xavier. Don't worry."

"I have to. Who knows what kind of crazy thing you'll do if I don't," Hunt chided, though his voice was joking. Arc rolled his eyes and bark-laughed. Together, the two head Pokemon meandered into the garden. Both appreciated the excited way Richard's eyes lit up when he saw them.

  • [OOC: The roleplay is now OPEN for Sign-Up. We had a member drop-out today, due to personal loss, and they will no longer be a part of the roleplay. The city open is Blossomwood, and the open region now is Kanto. PLEASE POST ALL YOUR SU IN THE OOC, AND NOT HERE IN THE TOPIC. If accepted, I will notify you by PM, and if declined, I will notify you by PM. We're very sorry for the loss of rockshock28, but the roleplay must go on if at all possible. My heart goes out to rockshock28 at this time.]
