Experiments [PG-13]

Aura closed her eyes tightly, and as much as she didn't want to, she started crying. She wasn't sobbing, she knew how to control that, but she was shaking, and she was crying. No one would notice, no one ever did. It was dark, but she didn't care. She didn't move, he told her not to, and she didn't. She squeezed her eyes tighter, and pulled her cap down over her eyes. By the time the lights went back on, her face would be dry. She wouldn't let Drake catch her crying. She didn't need him thinking she was weak.

"Smart move..." Eric said to himself. "But I bet you have never fought a wacko before.".

He dashed across the bathroom and hit the wall. He hurt himslef but it was nothing he couldn't overcome. Plus, it wasn't completely dark. The bolt briefly lit up the place, and he knew where some things were. He lifted a garbage bin and threw it at him with his powers.

"Catch!" he said uopn throwing it, and dashed out of the bathroom, running into the kid in the process, knocking him down but falling on him and the garbage bin.

Caresse smiled at Jeremy. "Planning things out is always the best thing to do. Could keep you from being killed." she said before asking "How far do you think we are away from the town? I think we could all use some rest and then I'm going to find a way to get a gun"

After training for awhile, Luphen decided to go to his grandparents favorite diner. "At least I can clear my mind there." He thought as he walked towards the diner.

After a riding on his board for a couple minutes, he slowly landed in front of the diner. It was pitch black and people were trying to escape the diner. "I wonder whats going on here." He thought as he walked towards the door.

Drake saw as he threw a garbage bin at him.

Is he for real? Drake evaded the attack by jumping to the left. He position for another set of lighting bolts. This time, he took the energy from the lighting of the room, and combined it with his sparks. The energy sparkled like mad, and he sent two more bolts of lightning towards his direction. Unconvinced that that was enough to take him down, he rolled and powered up one more lightning jolt and sent it at him.

If at least one of them hit him, it should paralyze his nervous system long enough for me to land a direct blow on him. Even super speed wouldn't save him.

Aura's hands were in fists as she clenched them, keeping her eyes shut. She let a sob out by accident and used one hand to cover her mouth. She'd heard what happened, but she couldn't open her eyes to see it. She didn't want to see it. She didn't want to see any of it. She heard someone come in, and she knew it was Luphen. She wanted to say something, convince him she was doing this for both of their goods. Her staying with Drake was keeping her life safe until the end of the others, and she was keeping Luphen safe for now. But she didn't say anything to him, she couldn't. Especially not when she was crying.

(OOC: Didn't Eric crash with you and knock you over?)

"Hey, peasant!" Eric yelled "If you want to fight in the dark, youn shouldn't light up the whole place with your lightning bolts!" he added and grabbed his throat with his psychic powers, and began to choke him.

"And, Aura, you backstabbing douche! You will be next!"

Hearing a fight breaking out, Luphen contemplated going in or not. "Why not just to see which one of these fools is the winner? Yeah, thats what I will do, all of them will die anyway." Then he went to the bench across the street from the diner and sat down. He then pulled the hood over his face and sat and waited to see the outcome.

Guns and karate that was the strategy they had Jack thought he had to do this all by his self since the other materials were still in the forest joking around and ponytail took off a longtime ago. "you dont need guns work on your illusions and you could actually be useful i mean powerful" Jack quickly changed his last words so that she wouldnt be offended. "All i need to do is to catch all of them at one time and go super nova on them and its job done"

Aura hated the fighting, she really hated the fighting. But she realized, he already hated her. And now Drake was in danger, and then she was in danger. So she stood to her feet, holding back her tears. She knew it might not to much, but she hoped it would do something. Using her hearing, she figured out where Eric was, and ran up to him, and kicked him in the stomach.

"I'm not doing this because I want to! I'm doing this because I HAVE to." her voice was shaking, and she knew she was crying through her sentence.

(OOC sorry bro didn't notice!)
Drake reached for his neck as he felt pain squeeze around it. He was unsure of what this was, but he was careless. He hadn't expected the person to use this sort of power. He got onto one knee as the chocking continued. he felt faint, but knew he couldn't give up. He saw Aura kick him, breaking the chocking for a second. He noticed Eric was standing directly under one of the dosed lightbulbs. He quickly used his hand to destroy the bulb with electricity, and caused it to burn out and fall upon him. When he believed he was free from the psychic power, Drake grab a metal pole that was attached to the wall and sprayed electricity all over it. The resulting energy caused the room to shine from the pole. He then launched the pole at Eric, covered in electrical energy.

"I won't master my illusions in one day. Usually I either attack myself or when I use it on others it hits me too" she sighed. "As much as you may think you can't take them all down by yourself. You'll need help"

Drake looked at the Experiment Aura. She had helped him, saved his life probably. He was careless and angry at himself. They needed to bail from the restaurant, though. Drake motioned to her to go outside. As he passed out, he saw the Ice Experiment. He was going to attack him before he remembered Aura, and dashed right passed him. He couldn't kill him yet. He went outside, waiting for Aura to come out.

Eric faintly used his Psychic powers to prevent the burned lightbulb and the pole from hitting him.

"Hey, Aura, I hope you're happy. You have doomed us all." he said as he blindly grabbed stuff he could barely see and tossed them at any direction, hoping to hit the Corp guy and Aura, and got the hell out of there.

After Eric left, Aura broke down. She dropped to her knees, her arms wrapped around herself. And this time she really started crying. Her hat had long since fallen off, and her hair was falling all around her face. She was tired, scared, and most of all, she was lonely. Luphen and Eric hated her, Drake didn't really care, he just needed her around for her powers. She finally understood what people meant when they said 'you can feel alone in a crowded room.'

Drake had told her to go outside, so she wiped her eyes and did as obliged.

Luphen got off the bench and made three ice clones appear. All holding ice balls in their hands like him. "Where you going, Drake? Why don't you stay and play for awhile, bro." Then he looked at Aura. "Choose right now me or him. You choose to go with him and I will hunt you down and kill you both."

As Drake walked out the door, he saw Luphen coming with three ice clones. How he had managed to make them appear was anyone's guess. He had come for blood, and yet Drake was unable to satisfy that.

He wasn't going to fight him. But he wasn't going to stand there and take it if he chose to attack. Drake looked at ice clones as he awaited a reply from Aura.

Aura wiped her eyes, but she was still crying. She couldn't help it.

"I'm sorry Luphen. I have to stay with Drake. For my sake, and for yours." she knew she was still crying, but she didn't care. She knew he was still going to her, but she hoped she could make him understand. "But I understand. If we have to be enemies, so be it. I'm staying with Drake."

I hope she's happy. Apparently she doesn't know she'll die too. But, whatever, she made that choice. If that Corp guy doesn't kill her, I will.

Eric thought this as he ran at high speeds through the city. He got to a safe spot far away from the diner, sat down and sighed.

"How people can screw someone over so quickly truly amazes me." he thought out loud. "Now it's time to leave hometown again...Wait...My bag! I left it at the diner!"
