Fossil Pokemon would be great if the the fossil was given early in the game and receive a mail or phonecall when they are resurrected. I have the habbit of leaving that part to the end of the game and having to walk around mindlessly training to wait for it.

The only reason GameFaq folk call them gerbils is because they hope somebody unfamiliar with the customs will speak out. This gives them an opportunity for them to be trolled by regulars. I speak from experience.

I'm female, actually. If you just look at infomation to your left, you would know.

I can be something retentive too! Not everybody uses the same theme as you. If you ever changed your theme, you would know.

I've always hesitated about calling Raikou a cat for the simple reason that there still seems to be a controversy over whether or not the GSC trio are cats or dogs. (The argument lies in the idea that some people assert that Suicune is a wolf, that Entei looks incredibly like a canine, and that it wouldn't make sense for Raikou to not fit in this pattern.

Entei has always reminded me of a Lion. He really has no dog traits, unless you count the big furry paws. =\

Suicune is the outcast, if any... but, that's just completely my opinion! ._. don't jump on me~ D=

The idea is very awesome! But Extinct pokemon could be more than just dinosaurs or birds, since there are alot of animals going endangered these days.

They could make a huge Sea Cow thingy (different from Walrein).
A Dodo bird (even though there's doduo.) would be quite clevar.

Ooo, or they could make them more mythically (not a word!) extinct.
Like Bigfoot.

Um, actually over 70% of the species that have ever been on Earth are extincted. /:

I really would like to see some more fossil pokemon but good ones, like the 1st gen fossils.

I was just talking about those that have been discovered, not the total number of extinct species. Considering the number of species which have been extinct, we have only discovered a tiny fraction.

If you're talking about the total number of species the world has ever seen, the number alive today is far less than 30%.. closer to 2%.

I wish they would so people would stop ragging on my favorite character for "not being able to identify a Dragonite" in dense fog in the dead of night. At least then, he'd have more of an excuse. ;_;

Also, yes, I'll admit that Raikou looks more like a tiger than a dog, which is why I really don't know what the people in the "the GSC trio are a pack of dogs" camp make of Raikou. Either way, I'll also agree about not being able to see the resemblance between saber-toothed tigers and Raikou either way. I mean, sure, it has huge fangs, but is it at all odd that the other two legendary beasts would, if you were part of the "the GSC trio are three cats" camp, be based on large cats (assuming that Suicune is a cheetah, although yeah, it's always looked canine to me too) that still exist while Raikou is the only extinct one? Or maybe I'm just trying too hard to maintain patterns.

D= omtotalgosh... I actaully really truly forgot that it WAS Dragonite. >-< *bangsselfonhead* Well, there goes my theory out the window~ ^^;

Anyways, they Could make more dinosaur-ish looking creatures. Like a long-neck (Tropius =x) or a rare alligator (Totodile ._.)
Bleh, but they Could look different. I think they just need more diverse species of Pokemon. Like more types of dogs and such.

As for Suicune. I've never Ever thought of it being like a Cheetah. Which it Does look a bit similar, except for the elongated snout. But it's fast, and roars. See, that's why I sway more to the Cat side, because all the "Legendary Dogs" roar... D;

Actually, I think the giant "Dragonite" was really Mew. Bill said something like:"It travels around the world, looking for friends." I mean, doesn't that sound like Mew? And Mew can transform into any Pokemon it wants, and any size. (Like in "Lucario and the mystery of Mew") Um, yeah, were was I? (Sorry about the ranting. 6_6) Anyways, that's what I think.;)

I really like the fossil pokemon. I think they should definitely make more extinct pokes if they make more in the 5th generation anyway.

But I think they've done quite enough already, I think they should stop making new pokemon.
