1 Year full-time member of American Sign Language Club - I will become a co-owner and vice president this year and the next for a total of 3 years. What we do is run a club led by students to teach students how to speak and listen to sign language. We'll be using the knowledge we've gained from our graduating seniors last year to teach the noobs this year. We plan to raise money with bake sales to buy ourselves textbooks and stuff.
Soon-to-be co-founder and board member of Public Health club. We hope to last even after we graduate. We plan to raise awareness about health problems, e.g. smoking, mental health problems, STDs, and raise money for organizations that fight said problem.
2 Year member of Science Club, however, since management has broken down, I have stopped visiting it. I may quit for some other club if they don't shape up this year. What we used to do was discuss science, perform useless experiments, e.g. making pickles glow, arrange and attend lectures with guest speakers, and raise money for organizations that would further the growth of the scientific field.
New partial-time member of Asian Cultural Society (since I quit Science Club). I don't really like it that much. I'll probably join the GSA sometime. Maybe. HOLA, the Spanish culture club is also an option.
Former casual member of Mechanics Club - quit for scheduling problems. I might rejoin this year. Just... Build robots and stuff for fun.
I die in sports, though. Well, I'm taking Fencing as an elective... We'll see how that goes.
