Rune remained in the air, spear still gripped loosely in her off-hand, flapping her wings eery now and then to keep herself aloft. She would not attack him, but she would not be caught on the ground either.... up here, she felt much safer, plus she had a clear view of him if he tried anything funny.
"Ah, so a cenataur," the Oriental said, half-amused, half-intigued as she floated gently over towards the two. She never truly saw a Centatuar, only in pictures and constelations. She studies him slightley, tilting her head this way and that, letting her whiskers taste the air around him. So they did exist, and they truly were a human and a horse in one.
"Are there more of you?" she asks, quite amused at the scents she found with her keen whiskers.
[OOC: Er, Ryu is viewing the group from a considerable distance away . . . I apologize for any confusion. As of yet, he has not revealed himself to the group.]
From the edge of his territory, Ryu viewed the group. Then, he saw him. Wynd . . . For years, his territory has bordered mine. I've no right to ask him to leave. But, the others . . .
Again, the earth split as the voice spoke. "You may be in the centaur's territory now. And, while I do not have the authority to remove you from there, I will give you a warning. The lands bordering the centaur's have belonged to the earth dragon tribe for many generations. If you have any intention of entering that area, forget it. Ask Wynd. He knows."
As Ryu resealed the earth, he refocused his silver gaze. Seeing Searinox take flight, the earth dragon's dark tail began to flick about as he moved into a defensive stance.
Fearing lossof balance, Searinox quickly took off the cliff, but focusing on the voice a few seconds after he took flight. After the earth's voice stopped reverberating through the ground, the red leviathan turned towards the centaur. He then flew back to him, hovering just a few centimeters from the ground, dust being scattered away with each flap of his wings, and making the centaur's fur and hair sway.
"I take it you must know something more than I, or anyone else here for that matter?", the Dragon queried, his tone calm and curious.
[i was aware of Ryu's distance, but Rune is airborne so she can see him, though not entirely clearly given her human sight]
Rune stops flapping her wings and leaves them spread, allowing her to gently glide to the ground. Once she lands, she folds her wings over her chest and rests her spear beside her.. personally, she finds the whole territory dispute thing boring. she does respect the fact that he is defending his territory, yes, but if they meant to do it or him any harm, it could easily have been done already, so why the need to get all defensive? preide or not, stupidity was stupidity and one on six was stupidity no amtter how it was looked at. Rune shook her head and stood still, watching the whole scene before her unfold...
